Review of OmDayal Group of Institutions.

Placements: The college has a good placement cell. Most of the students from our batch got placements. The college has good training and placement cell. They provide internship training in Rail, Port etc. They also provide pre-placement classes. They conduct mock interviews before placements to make the students confident enough.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great. Classrooms are spacious, and the labs are very well equipped. Lab technicians are available, and they provide detailed practical knowledge. The college has a CNC turning machine, which is very rare in private colleges. I was a mechanical student, and all the facilities were very helpful to me. The college provides hostel facilities and also bus facilities to travel to different parts of Kolkata.

Faculty: Faculty members are very caring. They pay attention to every student in the class. They try their best to help us with our studies. They also prepare us for campus placements. The student to teacher relationship is wonderful. Teachers like Pranab sir, Ranjit Sir, Aniruddha sir and Debasis sir helped us a lot.

Other: The canteen offers great food at very low rates.

Review of OmDayal Group of Institutions.

Placements: The college does not provide proper placements here, specifically for the mechanical department. Our department faculty give us good opportunities for jobs, and they help us to find a job. The department does this through college management, but the management directly cannot do anything.

Infrastructure: Labs are air-conditioned and are good. Both male and female bathrooms are very good. The library is equipped with various books. But the sports ground is not properly available. There is a good garden.

Faculty: The mechanical department faculty members are very good. The unique thing is they are very friendly, and no student hesitates to share any problems with them. All teachers are masters, and there are also some PhD holders. They use both the board and chalk to teach. They also help us in comprehending audio-video lectures and practical approaches. Seminars and industrial visits are organised in the college frequently.

Other: The college is quite far from Calcutta, but still, it is well-connected by railway and bus.
