Everything you need to know about JIS University.

Placements: Not many people are placed after B.Sc. If you develop skills and gain knowledge, you will definitely be good. If you want to get opportunities, they are given after you complete M.Sc. Many people are placed from our seniors into reputed companies. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA, the average is 3.5-4.5 LPA, and the highest can go 7-10 LPA. Many top companies like Amazon, etc., do give placement to Biotechnology if you're good enough. The HOD of your department will be sending you to more reputable colleges and companies for internships. Most of the roles offered are research-based.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are decent; we have digital boards. Well, not all the classrooms have AC, but we do have AC labs. The library is the best in our college, which is open during college times to issue books and study. The labs aren't much well-equipped. The canteen is very much affordable! Starting from 45 rupees, and everything is under 75 rupees during college hours. Hostel 24*7 medical services are available, and the hostel fee per month is 6k, which is very safe. JIS SAMMAN is an event that occurs for days and also includes sports events.

Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable; the maximum of them are Ph.D. holders. The course is very much relevant, from practical to theory to subject combination; everything makes us industry-related, and seminars teach us application-based things. The college exams are not much tough, as the teachers help us to get away with exams. We have to score a minimum of 37 marks on 100 in each subject to pass the semester.

Other: I chose this course as it's value for money, and not many government colleges have this degree, and fewer private colleges have the degree. The labs need to be improved. Fests and JIS SAMMAN are like annual fests, and throughout the year, many things going on in the college—so many that you will be unable to participate in all of them, only occurring in your own department.

The facilities offered by the college are very good, and the cost is bearable.

Placements: There are many companies that come for campus placement in the college. The companies include Cipla, Wipro, Amazon, and many more. The placement percentage for the recent batch was around 50, as many opted for further studies. The average package is around 3.5 LPA for our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good on campus, with well-equipped laboratories for practicals, and the classrooms are equipped with projectors for digital teaching. The college also has a Wi-Fi network that is open to all students, with lift facilities available.

Faculty: The teachers here are very qualified and helpful with any problems that students face in the curriculum. The classes are conducted well, and practical classes are held regularly. The course curriculum is very relevant to the course being pursued.

I am satisfied with faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell locates job opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. It maintains and updates the database of students regularly.

Infrastructure: The laboratory, classrooms, and library are good. All classrooms have projectors. We have different types of equipment in our laboratory. Our university has a well-equipped and well-stocked library with a variety of books. It has a seminar room, an auditorium, a canteen, etc.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us well. They specialised in various fields of study and teach different subjects. Teachers understand every student's potential, learning speed, etc. They interact with students to enhance their learning.

Other: The campus is very good. Our college provides scholarships to students based on the criteria.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Around 10% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are Cipla, GCC Biotech, Nestle, etc. The salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 5 LPA. I got recruitment mail from TCS BPS.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has an open-air gym. We have a swimming pool. The food served in the mess is not good.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. Our HOD is very good. He helps students. He always tries to solve problems, if we face any problems. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult if we study well. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to study something related to Biology. I am a cultural coordinator of our department. Many events are held in our college. Our HOD gives us a lot of enthusiasm to conduct events. The auditorium is always booked by CSE and pharmacy students, which is not so good.

Our college life is average.

Placements: There are many internships in this college. Top recruiting companies are Cipla, Mankind, etc. Almost 70% of students got internships and a laboratory technician role is offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Our entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are good. Laboratories of this college are full-fledged and it also provides a good library. The food served in the canteen is moderate. There are many sports grounds in this college and many games are played.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Our course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. If students study properly then they can pass easily. The passing percentage is 90%.
