Everything you need to know about JIS University.

Placements: Not many people are placed after B.Sc. If you develop skills and gain knowledge, you will definitely be good. If you want to get opportunities, they are given after you complete M.Sc. Many people are placed from our seniors into reputed companies. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA, the average is 3.5-4.5 LPA, and the highest can go 7-10 LPA. Many top companies like Amazon, etc., do give placement to Biotechnology if you're good enough. The HOD of your department will be sending you to more reputable colleges and companies for internships. Most of the roles offered are research-based.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are decent; we have digital boards. Well, not all the classrooms have AC, but we do have AC labs. The library is the best in our college, which is open during college times to issue books and study. The labs aren't much well-equipped. The canteen is very much affordable! Starting from 45 rupees, and everything is under 75 rupees during college hours. Hostel 24*7 medical services are available, and the hostel fee per month is 6k, which is very safe. JIS SAMMAN is an event that occurs for days and also includes sports events.

Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable; the maximum of them are Ph.D. holders. The course is very much relevant, from practical to theory to subject combination; everything makes us industry-related, and seminars teach us application-based things. The college exams are not much tough, as the teachers help us to get away with exams. We have to score a minimum of 37 marks on 100 in each subject to pass the semester.

Other: I chose this course as it's value for money, and not many government colleges have this degree, and fewer private colleges have the degree. The labs need to be improved. Fests and JIS SAMMAN are like annual fests, and throughout the year, many things going on in the college—so many that you will be unable to participate in all of them, only occurring in your own department.

The facilities offered by the college are very good, and the cost is bearable.

Placements: There are many companies that come for campus placement in the college. The companies include Cipla, Wipro, Amazon, and many more. The placement percentage for the recent batch was around 50, as many opted for further studies. The average package is around 3.5 LPA for our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good on campus, with well-equipped laboratories for practicals, and the classrooms are equipped with projectors for digital teaching. The college also has a Wi-Fi network that is open to all students, with lift facilities available.

Faculty: The teachers here are very qualified and helpful with any problems that students face in the curriculum. The classes are conducted well, and practical classes are held regularly. The course curriculum is very relevant to the course being pursued.

I am satisfied with faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell locates job opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. It maintains and updates the database of students regularly.

Infrastructure: The laboratory, classrooms, and library are good. All classrooms have projectors. We have different types of equipment in our laboratory. Our university has a well-equipped and well-stocked library with a variety of books. It has a seminar room, an auditorium, a canteen, etc.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us well. They specialised in various fields of study and teach different subjects. Teachers understand every student's potential, learning speed, etc. They interact with students to enhance their learning.

Other: The campus is very good. Our college provides scholarships to students based on the criteria.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Around 10% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are Cipla, GCC Biotech, Nestle, etc. The salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 5 LPA. I got recruitment mail from TCS BPS.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has an open-air gym. We have a swimming pool. The food served in the mess is not good.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. Our HOD is very good. He helps students. He always tries to solve problems, if we face any problems. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult if we study well. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to study something related to Biology. I am a cultural coordinator of our department. Many events are held in our college. Our HOD gives us a lot of enthusiasm to conduct events. The auditorium is always booked by CSE and pharmacy students, which is not so good.

Our college life is average.

Placements: There are many internships in this college. Top recruiting companies are Cipla, Mankind, etc. Almost 70% of students got internships and a laboratory technician role is offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Our entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are good. Laboratories of this college are full-fledged and it also provides a good library. The food served in the canteen is moderate. There are many sports grounds in this college and many games are played.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Our course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. If students study properly then they can pass easily. The passing percentage is 90%.

The college was good enough.

Placements: Basically, about 40% of the students got placed from our course. The lowest salary package offered here is 1.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Cipla, Mendine Pharmaceuticals, Sun Pharma, etc., visit here for placements. Roles like eTMF document specialist, medical representative, medical coding and bio content modulator are offered here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good here, and labs were huge and equipped with all essential instruments and chemicals. Even there was Wi-Fi access 24x7. The hostel building was good, but the washroom was not much good. The food served was pathetic and not much tasty to eat. However, the food served in the canteen was fair enough, and sports and games had all the equipment.

Faculty: The teachers here were very helpful, and they were highly qualified professionals. The courses offered were of a bachelor level and gave all the core information and knowledge about all the genetic and microbial aspects of life. They are not up to the industrial level theoretically as well as practically. The semester exams were quite difficult. If you learn properly and enjoy science, you will surely score good marks. The pass percentage is 55%.

Absolutely satisfied because of my college facilities, faculties and their teaching procedure.

Placements: 50-60% of students were placed. Now I am pursuing so I have no idea about salary. But our seniors (M.Sc)all they have got job in campusing. Some got in Sipla, some krish biotech pvt limited, some got Macloed as a freshers. And they are employed in good package. Nerdy Turtlez, Zycus, Zaro, offered in B.Sc. But next semester that's 6th semester they would bring different companies, because of our bright future. The last year one student went Gujarat to do internship after completing his B.Sc.

Infrastructure: Facilities of our college is too good. 1)Good infrastructure. Environment of study. There are well furnished library. There are a very much good Labs, where have all the instruments by which we do the practical. Instruments like Centrifuge (3pc), Laminer, light microscope (2pc), Flurence microscope, Normal microscope Spectrophotometer (2pc), vortex, Gel doc, PCR, etc. Here Ph.D. work also done. 2) Hostel facility is good. But quality of food is not so good. They provide 4times food. Canteen, medical facility is available. For girls there are very strict so they don't go out after 6:30pm.

Faculty: The Teachers are so much helpful. They are too qualified. One teacher do his post doctorate from Canada on cancer biology. One teacher do his post doctorate from America. One teacher do his doctorate from IIT kharagpur. And rest of guest faculty. Some do their Ph.D. work here. Beside this they also good in knowledge and teaching. Our hod sir is so helpful. He is my like next to parents. Now days the demand of biotechnology is incredible. So I think it make the students industry ready.

Other: In this field we do anything. We will research on this subject. We will do lab work. This is a good opportunity near us to invented some, so I choose this course. Our teacher are so helpful. So they teach us in practically. And the best thing that I am relating all today event in our subject. So it is so interesting. Many cultural events, fest all are done. Scholarship facilities have on the marks of semester.

Satisfied with faculty. It's was great. 87 percent of placement in 2018.

Placements: 1. Above 87 percent of students placed 2. The highest salary - 45k monthly. The lowest salary - 20k monthly 3. Cipla is the top recruiting companies. 4. Production, marketing, coder and many other course and opportunity there for a job in this Field 5. The highest package -5lacs, avg - 3 lacs, the lowest 1.8 Lacs 6.89 percent got internship, mainly in Cipla and many other companies in medical line and purpose.

Infrastructure: 1. In JIS University there is free Wi-Fi, and well-decorated auditorium full Central AC applied with 400+ seats. It has 14th floor each floor has a dedicated seminar hall rooms. The lab is full of expensive instrument starting ( 6 lacs per product) and is well maintained. Two library one is general and 2nd one is spiritual library 2. Here you also get a hostel for boys and girls separately with University. Bus facility is also available, food is affordable and good for health and also in taste.

Faculty: 1. teachers are very helpful in study as well as in other matters. They give you particular notes for study. They are well qualified as well as they also pursuing their Ph.D. in this University 2. There is a site which conducts an exam called 'Skill X' that makes students industry ready and also there is an additional business communication subject to crack interview in future.

Other: 1. I chose this course as it's for biology students who wants to research as well as it has a vast job options on the other hand. 2. Biotechnology in India as a job option doesn't have much scope but it will have a vast job opportunity in future 3. Every year a fest is held in late March. Every year in September there is Freshers Day.
