    Satisfied with the college.
Placements: 60% of students got placed in my college. The highest average package is 12.8 LPA, and the lowest salary is 3.2 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Reliance, Godrej, JSW, etc. 80% of students got internships in companies like JM Mhatre, Godrej, etc. Top roles offered in my course are site engineer, quality inspector, transportation engineer, and government officer.
Infrastructure: Several facilities are available like good library, smart classrooms, computer labs with Wi-Fi, and department labs for every course. The quality is good in every aspect. The canteen is maintained hygienic, and food is also very good. Medical facilities are also provided.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They support in academics and keep motivated. They are also very knowledgeable in their particular course and are highly qualified. The course I am pursuing is a core subject that makes students ready for industrial purposes.
Other: I had an interest in civil engineering since my school days so it became obvious to choose this stream. The best thing about my course is that there are all real things and it gives me real-life knowledge. Events in Pillai HOC are some of the best in the whole Navi Mumbai region. Many celebrities are invited to the events and various programs are conducted.

It's a good college, and teachers are very helpful if we work hard.
Placements: Only 10 students got placements, including me, within the class, and others got their placements off-campus. But yeah, placements are there in the college if you have skills. The highest package is 5 lakhs, and the minimum is 3 lakhs per annum. 10 percent of the students got internships and placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, but accessibility is fine. One can enjoy going and vibing around in the college without any issues. There is a big infrastructure. The quality of the food is average, but yeah, I can say it's better than most of the other colleges I got info about.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful; they support you in every little thing. If you have any doubt, they are always available either in college or on the mobile. They are supportive, and the nature of the teachers is also good and admirable. The exams are difficult but not too much; the pass percentage was 65%.
Other: I want to be in business; that's why I chose this. Not a bad course, I guess.

The first year is good and the remaining year you have to do all by yourself .
Placements: 30–20% of students are placed in the overall engineering department. The highest package is 12 LPA. Average package is 4 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. TCS, Wipro, etc. are the top recruiters. The internship is not provided by the college; you have to do it on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good at the college, and the hostel is good. I have no idea about Wi-Fi services as I'm a day scholar, which means I travel every day for college. The labs and classrooms are average. The canteen is good, there is Gymkhana in college, and many events are conducted in college.
Faculty: The first-year faculty are very good, and they give you all study material from which you can score good marks in your SEM exam. I would expect all colleges to be IIT-level colleges; all are following outdated courses, which does not make you industry-ready fully. The semester exams are tough if you don't study, but if you do, it's easy to clear the semester exam.
Other: I just chose the course because it was in market trend and the weave was going there. This course makes you ready for upcoming technology specials, which will make you job-ready, an entrepreneur, or for any start-up. The changes that should be made are in attendance criteria; there is already a list of pressure on college students in academics; they should be given time to build on skill development.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, placement and average infrastructure.
Placements: There is no placement preparation, and they didn't provide any sessions or anything on placement preparation. Placements are collaborated with Panel College, so there will be more competition; around 300 students appeared for placement. Not a supportive TPO.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average There is not a good network on college campus; no Wi-Fi are available. In labs, most of the PC's are not working and some are not compatible with practical. Only one lab has a good-quality PC with good configuration. library faculty behave like they own Library.
Faculty: Faculty members are not too skilled; they will teach only the syllabus. Some faculty members didn't complete their syllabus. Faculty members torture students on projects and submissions. Faculty members are full of attitude and half of subject knowledge. The total waste curriculum is designed with too many events.
Other: The best thing about this course is that you only get a single sheet of paper (a degree). No one will ask about a degree or course. In this course, colleges have to improve placement preparation and data structures.

Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology is the best college near Navi Mumbai .
Placements: The Mumbai University pattern and syllabus are followed in college, and exams are carried out by Mumbai University. But management has informed us students that colleges will get autonomous status in one or two years. Top recruiters like Tata and Infosys had also visited our college. This academic year, 2024, placements are much better than usual.
Infrastructure: College is absolutely beautiful. Classrooms are clean but not well ventilated, and we face some problems in the summer. Labs and everything are fully functional; there are no such problems regarding that. The canteen is fine; there are many varieties and pocket-friendly dishes.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent, especially in the first year. They treat us like friends and provide guidance regarding our career and self-improvement advice. Notes are provided in lectures as well as some of faculty members like engineering Chemistry engineering physics, etc. Theory subjects also share soft copy of notes for much better layout of answers.
Other: I chose this college and course because it was the best available college nearby .

Review of Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: About 75% of the students are placed in campus placement. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA, with an average package of 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Kpit Cummins, L&T Infotech, and Logixal. Top roles offered in the course are as software engineers.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are air-conditioned and fitted with modern educational equipment. Endowed with separate rooms for student-faculty interaction and case study discussions, the library has 20,000 square feet of space with 5,000 titles of books. Hostel facilities are available for girls and boys separately.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their domain. Teaching quality is amazing, and they teach practically as well as theoretically. The course curriculum is relevant as designed by Mumbai University, making students industry-ready. Examination difficulty is slightly harder as question papers are set by Mumbai University.
Other: I chose this course to become a software engineer, and this course is relevant for becoming a qualified software engineer. Events at PHCET are awesome; two major events are Euforia and Hackoverflow, which are at the national level. Fests are one of the best, campus crowd is amazing, and campus surroundings are green.
