Poornima Group of Colleges Engineering Students Bag Funding for Robotics Edu Startup

May 12, 2023: ‘Roboverse,’ a business created by students from Poornima College of Engineering (PCE), Jaipur, has acquired finance of Rs 3 lakh. The project is the brainchild of Hitesh Parihar and Himanshu Rajput from PCE, in conjunction with Narayan Jangid, an alumnus of MBM, Jodhpur. The startup aims to provide robotics education in schools, enabling students to access robotics instruction despite resource limitations. I-Gate Innovation Lab was interested in the creative idea and decided to support the work of the Roboverse team. Hitesh Parihar explained that they had developed a kit suitable for students from grades 4 to 9, designed to be user-friendly.

This kit, equipped with current tools and sensors, will allow school kids to design sophisticated robots while learning the intricacies of robotics progressively. It has good infrastructure and campus life, but average placements and academics.

Placements: The placement scenario at Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur, is average. Around 60-70 percent of students get placed. Mainly from CSE/IT branches. While core branches have fewer opportunities. Highest package is 10-12 LPA. The average package is 4-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Internship opportunities are available. But mostly students need to apply off-campus. Top roles offered are software developer, system engineer, and support roles.

This is a great campus with the best teaching quality despite past placements.

Placements: In my college, 60% students are placed in this course. Our highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Josh Technology. 65% of students achieve our goals, especially in software development.

Need to improve the facility.

Placements: My batch is 2022-2026 in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. 70 percent of students got placed. Mostly in non-tech fields the highest package this year is 12 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys and Celebal. 20 percent of students got internships in Celebal, Infosys, Fingertips, and many other non-tech companies. Roles offered are data science, web development, embedded robotics trainer sales, salesforce, and non-tech.

Placements: Almost 90-100 percent of students got placed from B.Tech mechanical engineering from my college. On average, the package goes 3 LPA-4 LPA, the minimum package goes about 2 LPA, and the highest is 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are Daiken, Torrent Gas, Green Energy, etc.

Really good infrastructure and facilities, and good placement according to RTU.

Placements: 50% students get placed in the company recruitments. Electrical companies recruit. The average package offered is 4-5 LPA, the highest package is 44 LPA, and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. 30-45% students got internships from the course in Danish Transform Company, etc. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Pinnacle, Adani Power, etc.
