Amity University, Mumbai BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Amity Mumbai BTech course is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BTech at Amity Mumbai is offered in 11 specialisations such as Amity University, Mumbai BTech in Computer Science and Engineering through the Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Mumbai, and Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Mumbai.
Amity Mumbai also offers BTech (3 Continent) in three specialisations. The university also offers BTech + MTech (Dual) in Biotechnology for five years. Amity Institute of Biotechnology under Amity Mumbai offers BTech Biotechnology. All other BTech specialisations are offered through the Amity Institute of Technology.
Some other BTech specialisations include BTech in Biotechnology and CSE International. Amity Mumbai BTech admission is entrance-based. Candidates must have valid scores in the AMCAT or JEE Main or any other National/ State Entrance Exam or CUET UG for admission to the engineering course. The final placement report 2023 is yet to be released. Once it is out, the total number of BTech students placed in 2023 placement will be updated here. However, as the NIRF report 2023, 85 BTech students were placed out of total 132 students during Amity Mumbai BTech placements 2022. Earlier, in 2021, 45 students were placed out of total 128 students. When we go back to 2020 placements, 26 students were placed out of total 105 students.
Amity Mumbai average package 2024 is yet to be released on the official website. It will be updated once it is released. Yes, candidates need to qualify AMCAT or JEE Main or any other National/ State Entrance Exam. The university also accepts CUET UG for all BTech specialisations except 3-Continent. Candidates wishing to get admission to BTech or Integrated BTech Biotechnology can also get admission based on NEET score. Amity University BTech fee ranges between INR 7.1 lakh and INR 14.3 lakh as per an unofficial source. The BTech fee is calculated taking the tuition fee. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. Admission to BTech course is based on national or state-level Engineering entrance exams or AMCAT score. The university also accepts CUET UG or JEE Main score for admission to all BTech specialisations, except 3 Continent and CSE International. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. The application fee is INR 1,500 for BTech course.
Candidates wishing to apply for BTech course at Amity Mumbai must complete a minimum of Class 12. Below is detailed eligibility for Amity Mumbai BTech course:
- A pass in Class 12 with PCM with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech course.
- A pass in Class 12 with PCM/ PCB with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech in Biotechnology. Candidates must pass Class 10 & Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and PCM with at least 55% aggregate to apply for BTech CSE International.
- Candidates passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course.
- A pass in Class 12 with PCM/ PCB with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech + M.Tech (Dual) Biotechnology.
- The selection for BTech course is based on national or state-level Engineering entrance exam or AMCAT score. Amity Mumbai also accepts CUET UG or JEE Main score for admission to all BTech specialisations, except 3 Continent and CSE International.
- Additionally, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to BTech course. A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech course. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with PCM/ Biology with at least 60% aggregate can apply for BTech in Biotechnology. Candidates must pass Class 10 & Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and PCM with at least 55% aggregate to apply for BTech CSE International.
- Those passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course.
NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page. JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.
BTech admission at Amity University, Mumbai, is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. The eligibility requirements vary across the available specialisations. For most BTech specialisations, the university requires candidates to have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
