Good infrastructure and faculty but absolutely unfriendly official clerks

Placements: We had 40 students in my course and a few packages offered were quite good too. But the scholarship section was complicated. This is a fundamental educational course. So recruitment isn't possible from here. Students faced a lot of difficulties while taking admission for the Masters.

Infrastructure: We were told that there was a Wi-Fi facility in the department but never got to use it. The classrooms and library were nice but the labs were disarrayed. The canteen was not up to the mark too. And the sports section wasn't that good either. Medical facilities were good though.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable but only a few of them were helpful. Math is relevant to every industry, but we weren't taught like that. The syllabus was huge, but the pass percentage was quite good and it was around 90%. However, our college was a bit reluctant in terms of considering our future.

Other: I loved mathematics since my teenage days. The best thing about the course was that I could learn deeply about this subject. A few more helpful teachers would be very much helpful to the students. The events were amazing and it was the best thing about my college. Annual fest and freshers party were celebrated in a huge way.

Requirements for 12th grade Up Arrow Icon

Mandatory Subjects : Environmental Studies
Candidate from general category must have passed with 45% in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination, Or 55% marks in the subject or related subjects, Or 50% marks in the aggregate, when the subject is not studied. Candidate from Sc/St category with 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the course. Marks in compulsory Environmental Education/Studies will NOT be taken into account for the calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject Environmental Science studies as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken in to account for the purpose of determining the aggregate mark.
