Candidate should have minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate and 40% in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. Candidate from WBCHSE Board should have minimum of 30% marks in the aggregate and 30% in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. Marks in compulsory Environmental Education/Studies will NOT be taken into account for the calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject Environmental Science studies as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken in to account for the purpose of determining the aggregate mark.
