A good place to study but do not expect to do anything more.
Placements: The college keeps students updated with varies career opportunities in their respective fields. Various alumni have been placed in reputed institutions throughout India. There is no explicit placement drive or company tie ups of any sort. The institutions' placement programme is non existent.
Infrastructure: The campus is tiny as compared to other colleges. The college does not offer any kind of transportation like a college bus. There are functional library and smart classes but nothing fancy or unheard of. There is a recording studio but I have never seen it used.
Faculty: All my teachers have a doctorate in their respective fields but their teaching quality is debatable. Most of them just read slides. Their curriculum is comprehensive and relevant but the faculty leaves much to be desired. For some reason, my teachers openly admitted that they have given up on our batch and just wanted to get us out of the college.
Other: There is very less focus on non academic activities. But if you want to study and obtain a rank, the college is not half bad.

Dissatisfied with the college but I'm making do with what I get, and I don't regret joining.
Placements: We do not get placements, as far as I know. But, however, its a psychology course and placements are not there for us. We have to apply ourselves for internships and for a master's degree. I do not know about other courses and if they do get placements but for us, there are no placements.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels for boys but there are two hostels for girls. Both of them are very strict and some rules are not fair to the students and some even take away the rights of the students. For example, if the curfew is 5:30 or 6:00, a few months ago, students were expected to keep their phones away after a certain time and not use them. The infrastructure of the classrooms is decent, like in normal classrooms in Kerala. Wi-Fi is present but is rather slow. There are labs for required courses and the library is good.
Faculty: The teachers are all well qualified and knowledgeable in their own specific fields. All teachers in our faculty are previous students of the college and all are Ph.D. holders. Some teachers are strictly professional. The course curriculum is good. It provides good theoretical knowledge about the subjects. Exams are pretty easy but that is my subjective answer. It is not too hard and I don't need too much time to study. The pass percent is very high but I don't know the exact numbers.
Other: If a student's only goal is to get a good education and good marks and nothing else, it is a good college. The college is strictly academic. However, the campus life is pretty bad. There's very few programs and even less enjoyable programs for students. Don't choose this college if you want to have activities for leisure. Also, the college is located on top of a hill so be ready to walk up and down daily if you don't have a vehicle. However, the college ambience is very nice. It is not a big college but it is filled with greenery. It has a calming atmosphere, especially during the evening. Also, there are no good restaurants or cafes near the college. The biggest problem is that there are unnecessary and unfair rules created by the college faculty and students are expected to follow them.

Excellent choice if academics is your priority .
Placements: The college has a placement cell that assists students in matters related to placement. Placements are available for every department except the Psychology department (my course). The average package is 2.5 lakhs per annum. Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, and Piramal Finance are some of the recruiters.
Infrastructure: There is still room for improvement infrastructure-wise. There are a total of 3 labs: for psychology, electronics, and computer science. The computer lab is fairly equipped, but the psychology lab lacks a sufficient number of equipment. Wi-Fi facility is available. The library offers a variety of books, both for reference and leisure. Students can request new books through an online site. It is open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. There are 2 ladies' hostels on the campus. I cannot elaborate as I'm a day scholar, but I've heard that the quality of food is average.
Faculty: The faculty is the biggest asset of Prajyoti. Everyone is experienced and reputed in their area. Most, if not all, of them are rank holders and have Ph.D.s. They are very approachable. Prajyoti never compromises on academics, which is evident in every classroom activity. The curriculum is fairly relevant. This year it was updated again as part of the 4-year UG program. The curriculum of the University of Calicut is followed here. Exams are conducted semester-wise by the university. The college also conducts an internal exam each semester.
Other: Academically, Prajyoti is excellent. There is room for improvement in the extracurricular areas. They offer various scholarships and freeships. Alumni provide financial assistance for deserving students. Major events are Onam, College Day, Talents Day, and the Fine Arts Festival. Each department can organize fests (Tech Fest, Psych Fest). There are only 5 departments, so everyone gets to know almost everyone. The campus is a haven of nature. The alumni call Prajyoti 'Heaven on a Hilltop.' The college is on top of a small hill, surrounded by greenery.
