M.Sc. in Biostatistics - Batch of 2021
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is an average college for M.Sc. in Biostatistics.
Placements: 65% of students were placed, with the greatest package being 7.5 LPA and the lowest being 3 LPA. The best candidates come from sales firms. The number of people who acquire internships is extremely low, and the responsibilities that are offered vary depending on the firm.
Infrastructure: Although the college's infrastructure was good, I didn't think it was worth the money. Students had access to digital classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi. Academics were the sole priority, and there were no sports facilities accessible. Although it cost a lot to live at the hostel, the food was good.
Faculty: In our college, in the first year, the teachers help; after that, students must study independently. They know what they are doing. Students find this training to be beneficial and pertinent. Students' reading and study habits determine the level of difficulty.

I am very disappointed with the teacher's behavior.
Placements: There are about 40% of the students who have placed in our course. The highest package was 7.5 lacs and the average package was 5 lacs and the lowest package was 3.5 lacs. The top roles offered were executive researcher. Several students also got internships.
Infrastructure: The furniture of the classrooms and labs is getting old. Classrooms and labs are average and not cleaned daily. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is acceptable. The hostel rooms are small and comfortable. Limited sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very rude and disrespectful towards students. They are from other states. They became angry if students asked doubts. The teaching quality is average. They always use books and other resources while teaching. Semester exams are quite difficult because of fewer resources.

Very good college, top-most college.
Placements: 5 students have been placed last year with a package of 7-9 LPA. I'm also planning to get a placement after I complete my degree. Last year, students were eligible for placements, but I don't know the names of the companies. I do know that they got into nice companies for sure. I haven't done an internship yet. But I'm going to do a summer internship. The department is providing companies where we can work as interns, like SSF, AMS, MORSEL, the Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel room comes with a bed and mattress, a study table and chair, an almirah, an attached bathroom and enough space for you to keep books and other things. The food quality provided is average. There is a 4 floored MIT Central Library with a large number of books as well as e-books. It also has an individual study hall, a group study hall and a library auditorium as well. Classrooms are full AC, with enough space and digital doors. There is a 6-floor Marina Sports Complex with a well-equipped gymnasium, squash courts, swimming pool, etc.
Faculty: Well-qualified faculty and study environment. As I said, the professors are well qualified and have a huge experience of core knowledge and have very fine knowledge of the concepts. You will find it easy to communicate, and there is no shyness in that. They are very supportive. They provide practical problems to enhance our knowledge to cope with interviews. There is no such difficult level in exams, I can say a medium difficulty level.

This college has good faculty members.
Placements: The college provides decent placements but students have to find jobs themselves. The package size depends upon the talents of the student it can be 7-10 LPA. Internships were not available but students could work with the faculty in the form of internships.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available for students here at Manipal Academy. Students can play sports, work with faculty, and attend lectures in one single department. Canteens and sitting areas are built in between the departments where students can relax and hill. The food quality in the mess and canteen is very good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well-experienced and certified in their fields. The teaching quality is good. They provide practical knowledge in a good way. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40%. End semester examination can be qualified by studying before the exams.

MSW in Community Development - Batch of 2021

Overall, the best college for MSW in Community Development Course.
Placements: 80% of students got placement in our college. Some of the recruiters include Montfort Care, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., The Hands Foundation, the Ian Institute of Rehabilitation Research, Jims Hospital and more. 75% of students got internships out of college in various fields. The higher-level roles offered are clinical social worker, community outreach worker and more.
Infrastructure: The facilities were the main feature I found appealing. Every department at the college has well-equipped classrooms with smart boards. With more than 90 years of history, the college has a rich legacy. The library is good; it has a lot of books that are necessary for every activity and course. It also offers digital features and free Wi-Fi. There is only one female hostel on the campus, and there aren't many spaces available. The hostel's sloppy food is passable but not the finest, and some of the amenities are subpar.
Faculty: The instructors in my class were excellent and very supportive. Instead of teaching theory, students are taught practical and applied courses. The practical approach is what makes this course a wonderful course for aspiring entrepreneurs, even though the curriculum is rather straightforward to learn. The first semester exams are a little more difficult, but they gradually become easier. It has a 85% pass rate.

World class infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed from our course. The quality of placement was not significant. Companies offered low packages and very few companies visited campus for recruitment in our course. Some students were got internship offers also. Top companies were Meditrina, Fortis, Paras, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. There was Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Library with an excellent collection of books for reference. All essential facilities like fresh drinking water, clean washrooms, and good food were available in the college hostel.
Faculty: Professors of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members was great. Course curriculum was relevant to the subject of study. Students were become for hospital and other industries jobs. Semester examination was little tough.
