I am highly satisfied because of our college faculty members, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: As it is a general college, there are no placements in our course. I heard after completing graduation, many students of this college are working at many big posts in big companies. I heard students also get an internship in many companies.

Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities, and the library is very helpful and very good. Classrooms and labs are also very good, big and perfect for reading. Overall, the infrastructure is very good. Besides this, hostel facilities are good, and food of mess and canteen is healthy and tasty. Other facilities like medical and sports and games are available.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified, very helpful and knowledgeable. Many of them are PhD holders. Overall, the teaching quality of this college is quite good. I heard teachers take extra classes for doubt clearing, but the curriculum is average.

Other: I want to be an economist, so I have chosen this course. In the marketing line, there is a high demand for this, so this course is very useful nowadays. Many events and functions are held in this college every year.

Students who passed in at least four subjects excluding Environmental Studies in the Higher Secondary Examination [10+2] held by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other Examination which is recognized by the University as equivalent thereto. If candidate have scored 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidate) in the aggregate with 60% marks in the subject applying for in the last qualifying examination shall also be eligible to apply for Honours Program Course in that subject. A candidate shall be allowed to take up Honours Program in Economics Subject if she has passed in Mathematics and other subjects as prescribed at the qualifying examination.
