Absolutely satisfied with the college, and I will recommend it always.

Placements: We were made to sit for an entrance exam for TCS by the placement and career counselling cell. That is the only company that visited the college over for on-campus placements till now. If one is searching for a job, they should not depend on TCS because only 2-3 girls were selected out of an antidepressant batch of more than 200-300 people.

Infrastructure: Bethune College is the oldest women's college in Aisa and boasts of many famous professors present in Kolkata. By virtue of being under the state government, the buildings are well maintained and have an ideal ambience for a student of Andhra Pradesh to gain knowledge. We have extraordinarily rich libraries separately for science subjects and arts subjects. Some of the departments also have faculty and infrastructure for postgraduation. Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms all speak out their heritage as loudly as possible. There are no hostels presently, but one hostel is under construction. We pay around Rs. 72 per month as the college fee.

Faculty: The teachers are extraordinarily knowledgeable, friendly, kind and helpful. Around 5 students are under one teacher for tutorials where they get clarification of their doubts and extra care. We are given regular homework and provided with useful study material. The college in under Calcutta University.

Other: Our college fest is called Alaap. We enthusiastically participate in intercollegiate programmes and contests. The facility of Kanya Shree is available. The college campus is neat, hygienic and lush green. The canteen serves good food at low prices.

Satisfied with the college as it has good placements, faculty, and infrastructure.

Placements: Our college placement cell has invited tech giants like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Cognizant, as well as reputed firms like Netscribes for campus recruitment since 2017. Our students have cleared the placement assessments with flying colours.

Infrastructure: Our college has well-equipped laboratories for various science courses, statistics, and computer classes as well. The classrooms are spacious, and thanks to the well-maintenance of the heritage campus. We also have two separate libraries for the science and art students. Along with these, we have a sports room as well as a gymnastics room. The medical facilities are also available. Our college canteen is reputed for providing healthy meals at affordable prices.

Faculty: The professors at Bethune College are experienced and dedicated to academics. They endeavour at creating a comfortable atmosphere for students to bloom in. Our college is proud to have many meritorious students as its college professors. Our professors don't merely teach us the subjects that we've opted for, but give us life lessons that will help us in the long run.

Other: It has been around three years now since I have left the college. But, memories never leave you. It is something which lingers on and makes you remember all those wonderful moments. It is the first women's college of Asia and being a part of Bethune was the best phase of my life. Unlike other strict colleges, this institution always taught me to fly high. Not only education but it nurtured us in every possible way. Our dear professors taught us the value of life apart from just delivering classroom lectures. We were encouraged to be a part of extra-curricular activities, seminars were organised regularly which taught us a lot. Endless gossip sessions at the cafeteria, hanging around with friends, strolling around at Hedua Park and all other memories just don't seem to leave you. It has been a wonderful three-year journey at Bethune, something which is etched in my soul forever. I am a part of Bethune, Bethune is a part of me.

I am satisfied with my institution and my English department.

Placements: I’ve heard people get good placements from our college. The seniors are doing well in their lives, and we hope to do the same. Although I’m not very sure about my department, I am confident about the Science departments. They have been offered good positions.

Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is very good, but the food quality is not top-notch. The rooms are very spacious. There is cleaning staff, and there is a committee that regulates and looks after everything necessary for the smooth functioning of the hostel.

Faculty: Professors in my department are extremely helpful and always ready to assist. They constantly try to improve us and teach us with new methods. I am very satisfied with my professors. The curriculum is good as well. The semester exams are a bit difficult.

Other: The campus life is quite good and academic. We have events and one fest per year. We also get many scholarships.

I had a beautiful college experience.

Placements: Usually, after pursuing the course of English (Honours), students pursue masters and a PhD to become a professor. Otherwise, they prepare and attend competitive exams for jobs in banks or civil services. They can also opt for creative writing or work as freelancers.

Infrastructure: Facilities available here are above average, so they can be improved. However, laboratory and libraries are well stocked. Classrooms are clean and well lit, but hostels are average. The quality of the food served in the canteen is very good and available at very less prices. The quantity of food is also perfect.

Faculty: Teachers here are excellent, quite knowledgeable and are qualified. They put efforts beyond their limit to help students not only in academics but also in their other issues. They are very friendly and understanding. The course curriculum is relevant and has been updated recently.
