Placements: Campus placement, also known as campus recruitment, is when companies come to your college campus, conduct interviews, and hire candidates to work for their company. Your college organises these campus placements and invites all of the best companies to recruit from their students. The campus placements are held before the final examination. These placements not only benefit the students, but they also benefit the companies and colleges. However, as a student, you need to prepare well for the campus placements. Getting the best companies for the placement drive is the main job of your college. From there onward, you are the one responsible for what happens next. Of course, your college will prepare you, but there is still a whole lot more you can do. In the following blog, you will find all the information you need about campus placements and recruitment. This information will be your guide.

Infrastructure: The college is situated in the heart of the city. Apart from being the Garden City, Bangalore is now the natural choice and preferred destination for students from different parts of the country to pursue a professional education, be it in engineering, medicine or any other field. The city is home to globally renowned corporate houses in the IT sector. The distance to the college from the city railway station and Bangalore airport is 7 km and 15 km, respectively. The college has excellent infrastructure and accessibility from various parts of the city. The college has a well-designed administrative block and various other rooms and facilities for the students, such as a girls' common room and a boys' common room, a waiting room, a co-operative store, etc. It has provided well-equipped furnished labs for basic sciences separately and other departmental laboratories as per the norms of AICTE and the university. Each section of students has separate classrooms and facilities as per the norms of the AICTE. Classrooms are well furnished and ventilated. The audio-visual room is provided with all teaching aids, such as OHP, Slide Projector, Television, Video Player, LCD Projector, Video Camera, Still Camera, DVD, Multimedia Computer, Audio Systems, Microscopic Projector, etc., in order to ensure the overall development of students. The students have all the facilities for games and sports. Adequate infrastructure is provided for indoor and outdoor games and extra-curricular activities. A canteen with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is also available on the college campus. The college building has made more provisions for the expansion. Other facilities consist of a drawing hall, a conference hall, etc. RGIT provides bus facilities for students to commute from different parts of the city.

Faculty: The curriculum is the heart of a student's college or advanced learning experience. A curriculum is a college or university's primary means of guiding students in certain directions. Curriculum should be reviewed and revised on a regular basis to better serve the changing needs of both students and society. We are often urged to reassess the quality of our curricula. Faculty members are responding to this challenge by turning their attention to long-neglected issues. They are doing so as a practical means of both attracting and retaining more students, ensuring their success, and producing high-quality, fair outcomes for everyone.

Other: Because of the unjustified failure of so many students just to make sure that students don't sit for campus placements, the stature and reputation of colleges have degraded so much. The provisional cutoff is the testament. You failed so many students, the dean of academic affairs, and professors, just to highlight your placement stats in a positive way. The world is paying you. It is high time to stop this reckless practice. At least make sure your students have good pointers because we know companies don't come, so let students go for higher studies. It could have been justified if your teachers were good, but the results of the GATE CAT GRE prove that LNMIIT students have been facing problems because of poor teaching qualities (especially in the MATH department). which fails up to 33% of the batch strength).
