On Highlights
Q:   Are there any elective subjects in ECE courses?
A:

ECE courses do offer various electives for you to opt in the both the UG-level and PG-level ECE courses where you get the chance to pick a specific subject that interests you more, is easy-going for you, and in which you can even pursue a specialisation further to tailor your career path in a particular direction.
You can choose to pick a subject according to the specialised field within your broad ECE specialization, which you would like to enter into in the future, where you see yourself as a well-established engineer. For example, in BTech ECE, there are a variety of electives like Embedded Systems, Antenna Design, Fiber-optic communication, VLSI Technology, etc.

Q:   Does BTech Civil Engineering syllabus focus more on theory or practical application?
A:

The BTech Civil Engineering syllabus focuses on both theoretical lectures as well as practical work.

With the help of lectures in the curriculum, theoretical concepts are introduced to students, tutorials provide space for solving problems and applications also.

And the labs offer hands-on experience to students who get acquainted with equipment and CAD software. Also, the field projects also allow students to apply their B Tech Civil Engg. skills and knowledge to design and implement communication systems.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

This college is not good to enjoy, but the coaching provided is good.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 6,000 to 10,000 per month. The top recruiting company for our course is Ford. Our college fee is very high, but the coaching provided is super. Students are not allowed to use and bring mobile phones to the college. If they find your phone, then they will charge a fine of Rs. 1,000.
Infrastructure: Labs are not that good here, and all the food items served are not good. The mess is waste, and the hostel looks like a hall and is not safe. They don't serve healthy food, and there are no sports and games facilities. Our college doesn't conduct cultural activities also, and there are no medical facilities. There are canteens, and the cost of the food served in them is high and of good quality.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, but they are very strict. They won't help us, and their teaching quality is good. They torture us, and they are knowledgeable. The mechanical engineering course is relevant to the curriculum, and industries are ready to hire students for jobs.

Good education, value for money, and not everyone's cup of tea.
Placements: Around 80–85% of students in my course were actually placed. But, roles were not always related to the course we studied. About 40% were placed in roles relevant to our course, while the remaining students were placed in companies with roles that were unrelated to our field. Examples include machine operator, dark store picker, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was more than enough for a good quality of education. We had a computer lab with more than 100 computers, well-maintained classrooms, and hostel facilities. Mobile phones were not allowed in hostels, and there was no Wi-Fi facility. The quality of the food was amazing. We got non-veg options twice a week in the hostel. We also had a canteen, but there wasn’t much happening there. It was a good spot if you were just looking for a quick tea and biscuits.
Faculty: Teachers were highly educated and knowledgeable. They knew what they were teaching. The course and curriculum were very relevant, but did it make the students industry-ready. I don't think so. It covered topics from basics to advanced in programming, but it lacked the time needed to truly prepare students for the industry. There is no one is going to learn advanced programming in just two years and be ready for an IT job, it's possible, but not for students with no prior computer knowledge.
Other: I chose this course to get the minimum qualification needed to enter an IT job, which actually did happen. For that reason, I really think it was a great start to my career. I do recommend that students pursue a bachelor's degree alongside it. I wished the curriculum had been a little better because it was a bit outdated. Trending technologies like React, Node, etc., were not taught. The course focused mainly on old-school Java and Python. As for events, they conducted an inter-college technological event once every year. We were also split into groups and made to paint trees inside the campus.
