It is a good college, but don't expect a good college life.
Placements: The college offers various placement options for the students. The college brings in 4 major recruiters every year, namely TCS, Wipro, Infosys and CTS. The placement rate on the first day is about 30%. But there is a lack of core related companies that come for recruitment. Only sectors related to IT fields are available for choosing. The salary ranges from 3 Lacs per annum to 5 Lacs per annum. Mostly, the system engineer jobs are offered in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is limited as supposed to the developing needs. The college only consists of three buildings. Laboratories are good and well maintained. But classrooms lack smart class facilities and projectors. No CCTV camera surveillance is provided inside the campus. The hostel is good, and it offers great food, and cleanliness is maintained to perfection. It has four-sharing rooms, and there are bathrooms on each floor. Medical facilities are mediocre, and we have to go to the main college area for any medical requirements. There is a ground, but the facilities provided are limited.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and know their respective subjects. All have PG qualifications, and most have PhDs, or in line for getting one. The curriculum is based on Anna University, and the effectiveness of the curriculum is under serious consideration. It may well be suited perfectly for desk jobs rather than industries. It doesn't offer much practical knowledge to the students.
Other: Don't join this college if you are expecting a campus life or a college life, for the fact. It has some strict rules about carrying mobile phones. Phones or any electronic gadget are not allowed inside the campus and even in the hostel. The other rules regarding the interaction between opposite genders are also strict, being a Co-Ed. The college doesn't allow interactions between male and female students outside the classroom and are given separate paths to travel. There is no canteen, and outside foods are also not allowed.

I am extremely satisfied with the college conditions and with the teachers' supervision.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zoho, Amazon, TCS, CTS and Wipro visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like a quality engineer, manufacturing attendant, software engineer based on the mechanical course, are offered to the students. About 60% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are spacious, clean and neat. The library is available. It provides online study materials for students. It serves both high-quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food for students. A mess is available. There is a separate medical care unit about 750 meters away from the college. Sports and games are encouraged here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-equipped and very Talented. They are qualified. They are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is very high. Every department has a separate department head and academic co-coordinator to supervise each sector of students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I feel like getting all practical methodology only in the mechanical course. It is an evergreen course of the engineering field to get job opportunities. I wish the college should provide adaptability to new technology and more innovative ideas. Every week events are conducted by several other colleges. The campus has about 25,000 students. It offers a better environment with a better spacious place.

Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
