Satisfied with faculty members, good infrastructure, delicious food, green and calm surroundings .
Placements: Around 80% of students in my course are placed in a reputed industry. Salary package starts from 2 lpa to 10 lpa. Amazon, L&T are some of the top recruiters. Internships can be obtained either through college or self as well. Significant amount of students got internship through college and self .
Infrastructure: Excellent food provided by the college. Library consists books from all departments. Wi-Fi is provided in hostel. Food is one of the major part where rmkcet excells. It offers delicious food to students and parents as well. Although food is compulsory here and must be paid along with the fee. But its totally worth the money.
Faculty: Teacher's are really friendly and help us gain excellent scores. Even the research going on within the college is excellent and very much related to industry. Semester exams can be done well. The internal exam patterns in this college paves way for the students to get what they deserve.
Other: Mechanical engineering is my passion. Practical learnings can be improved .

This college is great place to learn.
Placements: This college is good for placements, and they will provide training for every company. Around 80% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are excellent in this college. The hostel is comfortable for every student. The quality of food is good, and they provide hygienic food. Wi-Fi is enabled on the campus. Laboratories are very good in this college.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Faculty members are very good with students in this college. There is a mentor for every 15 students, and they will take care of every student. Teachers are helpful and qualified. This course curriculum is relevant.
Other: Everything is good in this college. It also oragnised events and fests for the students.

It is a good college for those who love to study.
Placements: Placements are mostly offered by IT companies. Once You get placed in a company you will not be able to attend interviews with other companies. You cannot expect more placements from the non-IT background. In previous years, companies like Ashok Leyland and HCL recruited students.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. There are labs, a library, and classrooms. The food served is good. Everything is maintained well. The canteen is separate for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. There is a sports period once a week. If there is an exam upcoming, the sports period will be canceled.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are very well trained, and they teach you concepts. The semester exams are sometimes difficult, and sometimes easy. Since it is affiliated with Anna University we cannot expect how the exam paper would be. The pass percentage of our college is 85%.
Other: My interest in automobiles and mechanical made me take this course. It would be better if they have arranged more practicals to understand the concepts rather than theoretical.

It is a good college, but don't expect a good college life.
Placements: The college offers various placement options for the students. The college brings in 4 major recruiters every year, namely TCS, Wipro, Infosys and CTS. The placement rate on the first day is about 30%. But there is a lack of core related companies that come for recruitment. Only sectors related to IT fields are available for choosing. The salary ranges from 3 Lacs per annum to 5 Lacs per annum. Mostly, the system engineer jobs are offered in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is limited as supposed to the developing needs. The college only consists of three buildings. Laboratories are good and well maintained. But classrooms lack smart class facilities and projectors. No CCTV camera surveillance is provided inside the campus. The hostel is good, and it offers great food, and cleanliness is maintained to perfection. It has four-sharing rooms, and there are bathrooms on each floor. Medical facilities are mediocre, and we have to go to the main college area for any medical requirements. There is a ground, but the facilities provided are limited.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and know their respective subjects. All have PG qualifications, and most have PhDs, or in line for getting one. The curriculum is based on Anna University, and the effectiveness of the curriculum is under serious consideration. It may well be suited perfectly for desk jobs rather than industries. It doesn't offer much practical knowledge to the students.
Other: Don't join this college if you are expecting a campus life or a college life, for the fact. It has some strict rules about carrying mobile phones. Phones or any electronic gadget are not allowed inside the campus and even in the hostel. The other rules regarding the interaction between opposite genders are also strict, being a Co-Ed. The college doesn't allow interactions between male and female students outside the classroom and are given separate paths to travel. There is no canteen, and outside foods are also not allowed.

I am extremely satisfied with the college conditions and with the teachers' supervision.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zoho, Amazon, TCS, CTS and Wipro visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like a quality engineer, manufacturing attendant, software engineer based on the mechanical course, are offered to the students. About 60% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are spacious, clean and neat. The library is available. It provides online study materials for students. It serves both high-quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food for students. A mess is available. There is a separate medical care unit about 750 meters away from the college. Sports and games are encouraged here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-equipped and very Talented. They are qualified. They are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is very high. Every department has a separate department head and academic co-coordinator to supervise each sector of students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I feel like getting all practical methodology only in the mechanical course. It is an evergreen course of the engineering field to get job opportunities. I wish the college should provide adaptability to new technology and more innovative ideas. Every week events are conducted by several other colleges. The campus has about 25,000 students. It offers a better environment with a better spacious place.

The review of R.M.K. College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements depend on your skills and how you improve them. The placement rates decrease every year. You can never get placed in a core organisation through campus placements. Only IT companies visit the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. No internship opportunities are provided through our college. The placement cell is efficient with good staff members. You can get placed if you follow their guidelines.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. Labs available here are good, and there is ample space available on the campus. There is a separate block available for the mechanical department, and the rest of all the departments are accommodated in a single building. Our restrooms are neat, and all the floors are kept clean. There is a playground available here, but you'll not be allowed to play. We have an excellent mess available here, and you are only allowed to eat in the mess. They don't allow students to carry food from outside.
Faculty: Some of them are very poor, and some of them are excellent here. You have to find the right mentor and be trustful to them. The course curriculum and regulation are old. You have to learn for yourself. Our faculty members don't use any new methodologies that can be used in a working environment. Overall, students have to study on their own to excel.
Other: The college doesn't organise any fest. They only emphasise on studies. The college organises only the symposiums, but no student attend those events.

It is absolutely a good college with many placement opportunities.
Placements: Students with no arrears at the sixth semester were placed in companies such as Infosys, Cognizant, HCL, San Mar, Maestro Steels, TCS, Wipro, etc. during Day 1 placement session. Many students were placed as mass recruiters hired a lot of students. Some companies also recruit students who have one or two arrears. Some students were selected and offered with internships and good stipend. There are still companies visiting our college for placements. We have a placement cell which will update the students about the companies which are going to visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: There are CAD, ANSYS labs and primary computer labs with an air-conditioning facility. The infrastructure of the college is good. It is maintained every day. We have a large playground for all kinds of sports activities. The best aspect of this college is the food as it provides hygienic food, and the food is proven to be hygienic by the food testing centre. Hostel rooms are good with good security. I am not facing any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were helpful in all aspects as they were friendly with students. They are knowledgeable and highly qualified. They conduct some industrial visits. They use some good teaching techniques. They provide some study materials for students. There will be more training programs, aptitude sessions, mock interviews, and guest lectures by some experts who have a great experience.
Other: Our college conducts symposiums, workshops, technical paper presentations, and technical events for the students of our college and other colleges. We have a sports period where we can induce ourselves in our favourite sport.

Placements are nil for the students of the Mechanical, EEE, and ECE departments.
Placements: If you are passionate about coding, then CSE department and also ECE is the best choice. Other than these departments, the placements of all the other departments are nil. Only small scale core companies will recruit two or three members. But overall, placements are below average. It is not a place for those who follow their passion and career.
Infrastructure: The campus is very small, and it had spread around 12 acres. The playground will not be up to the standards. The machinery in the labs are outdated, and some of them will not work properly. Classrooms are moderate, and hostel rooms are well-maintained. Quality of the food is good, and the medical facilities are not available here. Our college doesn't provide Wi-Fi facility. Mobiles and electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the campus.
Faculty: Every faculty member behaves rudely with students at times. They are not motivational, and even the student-professor relationship is not at all good. Our faculty are very strict. The curriculum followed is the worst when compared with deemed universities. Each department has 28 to 30 faculty members. Our college will organise two industrial visits per semester but these industrial visits are not at all worthful. Teachers teach only the concepts in the curriculum. However, their teaching is not understandable at all.
Other: Only the annual day event is organised here. However, the major part of the event involves the prize distribution ceremony itself. Boys are not allowed to dance with girls, and extracurricular activities are not encouraged most of the times. OD will not be given more than twice per semester.
