Our college provides good infrastructure.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students got placed in IT companies like Wipro and Infosys. Core branches offered placements in core companies. Many companies visited our college for recruitment. Training was also provided for placements.

Infrastructure: Several books were available in the library. The infrastructure was good. Laboratories were well-equipped. Classrooms were well-maintained. The food served in the mess was better. Non-vegetarian food items were offered 6 days a week for both day scholars and hostellers.

Faculty: Professors were knowledgeable and experienced. All teachers were Ph.D. scholars. Semester exams were conducted by Anna University. The pass percentage was 80%. They handled students very well.

Other: Our campus life was great.

Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: College is good for campus placements and training. Students can work in design and manufacturing, energy and the environment, robotics and mechatronics, or automotive design, depending on their interests. The roles offered in mechanical engineering are an aerospace engineer and automotive engineer. It is a good place for future training for placements and campus interviews. It is the best college for placements and campus interviews.

Infrastructure: College has 4 buildings which has three floors. Campus is very big and it is good place for future.

Faculty: Teachers are good and well experienced. They have the qualities of good teachers.

Other: I chose this course as mechanical is the main for engineers and has good value in foreign countries.

I am satisfied with the coaching provided.

Placements: Generally, out of all the departments, the student's strength of the mechanical department is quite high often. Students who have the best grades and good performance in their academics can get placed easily through on-campus placements. The highest salary offered in our course may be around Rs. 40,000 per month. In our college, in on-campus placements, various top companies like TATA, Infosys, Ashok Leyland, TCS, etc., visit to offer us good opportunities. The management does everything that it could do for our better future and to get dream jobs. The rest depends on the students. Every year interested students attend various internships and project works from our department, and the management and our staff members are well supporting.

Infrastructure: In the labs, we are provided with all the necessities fair enough. As being a mechanical engineer student, we need to concentrate more on practicals on-field rather than reading the theory alone. So, our staff members teach us the laboratory techniques very well, and each one of us is allowed to do the experiments individually. Classrooms are quite moderate but not worse. We have library periods, and our college library has all sorts of books regarding all the departments which students can refer better without difficulty. Mess and canteen are not really commendable, and there is a medical facility all day. Our college gives importance to sports also. With prior permission, students can participate in any kind of sports with on-duty on attendance in and outside the college.

Faculty: Our teachers are really helpful, and they are always updated with various recent informations about our field, which happens in our real-life, which helps us to plan accordingly and motivate us to study. The teaching quality is good, and all our staff members are well knowledgeable. They never hesitate to clarify our doubts. We will have many kinds of guest lectures to know about the field we study. The course curriculum is sufficiently relevant, but it is not sure whether it makes students industry-ready or not. It depends on the efforts of students to attend more internships and hands-on training sessions rather than reading the books alone. So, they could become industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in it, and I find it really good. This course offers high salary packages with really good grades and skills. Our college organises many events, so you don't need to worry about events. We attend many guest lectures and also counsellings for abroad study, and scholarships are provided to students based on some criteria. I would suggest our college to improve food quality and also campus surroundings.

Placements: Hi I am Amar, B.E Mechanical Engineering 2018 passed out from Jeppiaar Engineering College. The college provides wonderful placement training for every single student. I was placed in one of the Topmost MNCs.Companies Like Amazon, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Catterpillar are the most recruiting companies. Every year they recruit plenty of students. Roles like Supervisor is offered for my course.

Infrastructure: Labs are awesome and excellent. Excellent hostel facility. Food as usual is awesome. Canteen is small but okay. Medical Facility is good. Sports and Games are wonderful. A number of opportunities for Sports quota Students.

Faculty: Friendly teachers. Good Teaching. Highly qualified faculty members. Awesome teaching quality. All the subject they teach are Industry Based. Placement is provided to all the students and Proper training is given to everyone. The placement training staff is specially appointed for placement purpose.

Other: For hostel, the college charges extra fee apart from course fee.

Review of Jeppiaar Engineering College.

Placements: Our college successfully placed most of the students in good companies. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month and the highest salary offered was Rs. 1 lac per month. Most of the students from our course got internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has a fully furnished and air-conditioned laboratory and fully maintained classrooms. Classrooms are cleaned daily, and there are plants and trees inside the campus. Our college is equipped with many machines in Lathe laboratory. Fully hygienic food is provided.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful to students in teaching. Students can approach any faculty members at any time for course-related doubts. They are kind. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like machines. Events and cultural programs are held every year.

It is a good college for students who want to study and shape their future.

Placements: Placements in our college were average. Around 7 students got placed in Infosys, 3 students got placed in Wipro, and 2 students got placed in Kaar Technologies. The highest salary package offered by Voonik was 16 LPA, and the salary package offered by Kaar Technologies was 5 LPA. Companies like MRF, Amazon, AIS Glass and Saint Gobain are few top recruiters of our college. CS and IT placements were 90%.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not available in classrooms, but it was average in the hostel. Labs are very good with every equipment which are well-maintained and working. Classrooms are spacious with projectors and system installed. The library is the best and one of the largest in Chennai. All books from various subjects are available in the library.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and qualified enough to teach students. Some staff members' knowledge was appreciable, and they are very deep knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. The course curriculum best suits for GATE, and it makes students industry-ready. I also have some add ons.

Satisfied with infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In my batch 20% of students got placed in campus drive. The highest salary offered is 5LPA, the lowest is 3LPA and the average salary is 4LPA. Infosys, wipro, TCS, Capgemine these are the top companies took part in the recruitment drive. Graduate Engineering Trainee, Solution Architect are the major roles offered by the companies.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is good. All the facilities in terms of studying and extra curricular activities are quite good. Food in the mess is a one positive thing. For hostel students separate cots, lockers and laundry facilities are available.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and easy to approach in our department. The teaching methodology is the one that lagging. They teach only things that relevant to syllabus. For the extra knowledge you have to research on your own. Teachers will help in the process but you have to take the initiative.

Other: I choose the course because I like automobile industry. I learned only basics relevant to that. My suggestion is to improve the industry learning in the class room. Not only the syllabus we have to learn other important things also that's the only thing I wish to improve.

Dissatisfaction of non availability of core placement.

Placements: Hi friends, I am studying in Jeppiaar engineering college, Here usually you won't get placement in core companies especially for mechanical department due to lack of campus interview by core companies. You might get placed in IT companies with the salary package of (1.5 -3lac/ annum).

Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is available for students. Well maintained and equipped labs. Well-equipped library. Not so good classroom. Good at sport and gym facility. Nice food, on my opinion some might not like. Food is compulsory for day scholars also (breakfast and lunch and tea).

Faculty: Some teachers are alumni of the same institution. Most of them are PG holders and few are Ph.D. , holders. Some teachers are very good. Course curriculum is well relevant to the industrial practices. Teaching quality is excellent to average depending upon the faculty.

Other: Beside studies students are allowed to deal with extracurricular activities like go kart events supra baja etc.
