Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2024

I have the best memories in this college.
Placements: The percentage of our college placement is 30%. The highest average package of the course is 3-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and WNS. Students should get internships by themselves, as the college does not help to get internships. The top roles offered by the college are specialisation in each course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in our college. College provides Wi-Fi facilities, good classrooms, good library, better staff, etc. College does not provide any mess or a canteen, I suggest it can done by college. It is a great experience to be in college and also provides games, sports, and gym.
Faculty: Teachers are always coordinating, they are well-qualified, they always help students and teaching quality is also good. They have very vast knowledge. This course helps me to understand the various skills. College makes students industry-ready. Exams are average and pass percentage is 80%.

Our college is the best with good infrastructure and staff members.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest average package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, ICICI, Morningstar, JP Morgan, and many more insurance and finance companies. Around 40% of students get internships at Datamatics, Sumasoft, and WNS. Job roles are offered in finance, insurance, accounting, and auditing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the library is the best and silent to study. The hostel facility is not available. Sports are available for students to play or participate in particular competitions.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and they teach us with proper knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for jobs related to accounting. Our college conducts 2 semester exams so it doesn't get high pressure to study or pass. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in the accountancy field. Many activities are conducted by our teachers. Around 3-4 events are conducted in our college. There are around 75% of students in our course.

Our college is above average in terms of everything.
Placements: Our college is very good in terms of placements. Almost 50% of the students got placed in the last year with an average salary package of 3 LPA. Most of them got entry-level jobs in companies. In terms of internships, our college is not that good, and only 10-20% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college is huge and beautiful with a big playground. There is no Wi-Fi facility, but classrooms are big and good. The library is also very good, and all the books are available. The hostel is very good, and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is very good. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The quality of education is above average. Teachers are good, and they try their best. The course curriculum is very good, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not tough. You can clear exams very easily, and one day of study before the exam is enough.

Teaching quality is better.
Placements: Maximum 90% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month. There are no recruitment companies for our course. I have been a student in this college since 2018, and any campus interview is not provided in our college. If any recruitment company comes, they inform students through the WhatsApp group, and they try to help students every time.
Infrastructure: Only labs, sports, library and classrooms facilities are available. Various functions and different practical activities are done in our college, so we get much experience. There are no Wi-Fi and hostel facilities, but all other facilities are available. There are various departments.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very good, which is provided by experience professors. Almost 89% is the pass percentage as per average, and it increases and decreases every year. It is very easy to pass semester exams, but every student needs to focus on the timetable and go as per the timetable for the semester. Teachers understand some problems.

I am not completely satisfied with our college.
Placements: I am not sure about the placements of our college because I am pursuing an MBA now. After I passed out of this college, I think placements are not good, and I was not satisfied with placements. I think our college should be developed somewhat in this area. I have had spent 5 years there.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average and not much good here, and the infrastructure is also average. However, cleanliness is maintained in the college. But the mess is not available, and also there is no any sort of medical facilities. Sports and games are conducted, and the rest of the things are average.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members here are good, but some of them are average. Some are above average. However, they are helpful, but their teaching quality is average. I think the course curriculum cannot make students industry-ready. They have to prepare for the industry on their own.

It was good for academics and discipline, but placements for commerce were limited.
Placements: I was from the B.Com batch of 2020. In our course, placement opportunities were very limited. Hardly 5–10% of students from commerce got placed directly from campus. Most companies preferred technical streams, so B.Com students usually prepared for CA, CS, MBA, or government exams instead. The average package offered was around 1.5–2.5 LPA, and very few students received internships. Top recruiters for commerce students were mostly local firms, not big MNCs. Roles were generally in accounting, sales, or back-office work.
Infrastructure: Bytco College had decent infrastructure for B.Com. Classrooms were spacious but could have been maintained better. The library was useful with enough reference books. The computer lab had basic facilities but was not very advanced. Wi-Fi was not very reliable. The canteen served affordable food but had limited options. Sports activities and grounds were available, but hostel facilities were not very strong compared to other big colleges. Medical help was minimal. Overall, the infrastructure was average but functional for study needs.
Faculty: The best part of Bytco College was faculty. Teachers were supportive and experienced. They explained concepts with practical examples. The B.Com curriculum was as per Savitribai Phule Pune University, which was relevant but not very industry-oriented. Semester exams were moderate in difficulty, and with proper preparation, most students passed. Faculty guidance made exam preparation easier. The pass percentage in our batch was high.
Other: I chose B.Com here because of its affordable fees and reputed faculty. The academics were strong, but I wished the college had improved placements and modern facilities. Overall, it was a good option for students who wanted solid academics and discipline at a reasonable cost. But not for those who expected high corporate placements.
