Good infrastructure and decent placement.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. The highest package is 21 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA. Companies TCS, Wipro, and Accenture are top MNC companies. TCS, Wipro, and Accenture are companies that hire most students for placement.
Infrastructure: College has good classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi. Hostel is decent. The mess food is average. Medical facilities are available in the college. There is also a gym inside the campus. Swimming pool is for both boys and girls. Some classrooms are air-conditioned. Timetable is flexible.
Faculty: The curriculum is effective for skill-based learning. The semester exams are pretty difficult. If the paper is tough, it can be difficult to pass. Otherwise, students can clear it. Students maintain a 75% for placement.
Other: I chose it because I am interested in software and coding. The best parts are practical learning, lawns, and placement opportunities. The campus has good events and festivals. The cultural programs are also good. Last year, A. R. Rahman came for a cultural program.

An average college life with some amount of surprise.
Placements: Our department placements are really good, with skills you can get up to 6 LPA for software jobs with ease. Core placements are also there, but it's tricky and very competitive. It requires real skill to hack into core placements, as we don't learn any domain in detail, so it's key to choose one specific domain and focus on it.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not excellent but it's better than other options. Our building is really old, and it is crowded most of the time, but the management is really awesome, they try to take your money and spend it wisely on improving the infrastructure. One of the best private universities in Chennai. Wi-Fi is being built, so I can't comment on Wi-Fi standards until that's finished.
Faculty: Faculty members are just like what they are in school, some are excellent while some are mediocre. Ultimately, it's the students' work to filter the crowd and choose the faculty who'll help them in achieving great goals in life. Talking about the exams, it's pretty standard, no complaints in that regard.
Other: The crowd is really huge, but they are effectively working on it. It's a vegetarian college, which can be a headache.

Seeing overall, the college is decent in my opinion.
Placements: As for the placements, the seniors said that core companies are limited, but it seems like placements from IT are decent. But whatever companies may be coming in, I realised that getting placed depends on the student's performance, by that I mean their internships, projects, CGPA, etc. As for the package, I've seen a core company pick up a few good-performing students at 8 LPA, I assume it's a little bit higher for IT, maybe.
Infrastructure: It's pretty decent. As for the labs, they have good equipment, though sometimes things can be broken. The signal is poor in some places The library has all the books for academics. The canteen is questionable in my opinion, normal foods like sambar, dosa, and idly are all fine. Anything like past and friend price is not that good and is crowded most of the time.
Faculty: Courses are relevant and generic like other colleges, most of the teachers are chill, except some of them. If students show interest, the professors will try their best to push you to do projects, publish papers, etc. The students should show interest for that. Exams are not that hard, you mostly know what to study, so go by it, and you can score well.

Biotech in REC- how things actually move and work here.
Placements: The placements are great. Almost 95% placement was achieved this year, and an average package of 9 LPA from companies such as Biocon and Avigen. The top roles offered include Food Safety Officer, Bioprocessing Works, etc. Many faculty members help a lot with placements. Several of them have worked in the field and have alumni contacts in leading companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is nice, with everything needed, such as labs, classrooms, and a playground. Even a gym and swimming pool have been added for hostel students. The hostel is a bit troublesome, like every other typical college hostel, with average food and rooms.
Faculty: Faculty is great and supportive of our careers. They maintain ethics properly. Exams and coursework are up to date and properly maintained. The curriculum and subject notes are provided in both handwritten and printed form. They are useful. There is also a library where students can borrow books for their convenience.

REC is a great college for studies, and a good campus for college life.
Placements: 95 percent of students are placed in my college. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the highest package is 27 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Hyundai, TCS, Infosys, etc. Nearly 95% percent of the students got internships in companies like Retech Private Limited. The top role is a machine learning analyst.
Infrastructure: REC provides good facilities and infrastructure. They provide free Wi-Fi in many places in the college. Labs consist of high-speed Ethernet. Classrooms are neat and good. Some classrooms consist of smart boards and AC. The library is also good and big. The college provides only vegetarian food in the hostel, and the quality of food is good. For sports and fitness, there is a newly built gym and a swimming pool. There is also a playground to play sports like cricket, etc. REC also have a football turf too.
Faculty: Teachers in the REC are good at explaining the concepts of lessons to us. They are all well-qualified in the domain they are teaching. In short, teachers are great. The curriculum is more than enough for the students to become ready for the industry, and for them to get placed. Theory semester exams are easy, but practicals are tough. The pass percentage is 82 percent.

It is a good college if we want to study and get good industry exposure.
Placements: 80-90 percent of students got placed. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Google, and Amazon hire students. 80-90 percent of students got internships in almost all MNCs and other consulting and software companies. Software development and AI ML engineer are the top roles offered in the course. Good training is also provided here.
Infrastructure: Our college has good AC labs and ventilated classrooms. The quality of the food is nice. We have an ambulance and a medical room for emergencies. Sports and games are good, and the college students won at the state and national levels. The quality of food is good, but we only have vegetarian food here. Dominos, blackbuck, and CCD options are available here.
Faculty: Our college has good teachers. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. We have a dedicated workshop and other minor degree courses, which make students industry-ready. Exams are difficult as we have to study and understand the whole portion, as most of the questions are AI-generated. The pass percentage is 90 percent.
