To seek direct admission for the BE in Computer Engineering course at Rajiv G&hi Institute of Technology, Mumbai, the eligibility criteria are:
1. The c&idate should be an Indian National.
2. The c&idate should have passed HSC (Std XII) Examination of Maharashtra state of Secondary & Higher Secondary education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics.
3. The c&idate should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics added together & obtained a non-zero score in these subjects.
4. The c&idate should have a valid score in MHT-CET / JEE /AIEEE.
5. The c&idate should have passed Diploma In Engineering / Technology with a minimum of 50% marks & a minimum of instruction as English from the Polytechnic institute affiliated to MSBTE or the institute approved by AICTE & seeking admission to the first year degree course in Engineering / Technology.
Required documents include:
- Attested copies of the c&idate's Indian Nationality proof
- SSC (Std X) mark sheet
- HSC (Std XII) mark sheet /Diploma in Engineering /Technology Exam mark sheet
Note that the eligibility criteria & guidelines are as per the competent admission authority / DTE/ University of Pune/ AICTE.

For candidates, a valid score in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is the main prerequisite.The maximum age for common category candidates is 25 years while the reserved category candidates can have an applicant of 30 years old or younger. What needs to be done is that the applicants should fill in - the eligibility criteria - correctly in the admission into the B.Tech programme at RGIT Mumbai.The requirement for lateral entry into the second year of the B.E./B.Tech programme is the candidates should bear a Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
