Avoid RGIT, life will be better.
Placements: Out of 120 students, hardly 30 to 35 students get placed through campus placement in low salary based companies. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA and the average package remains near 4 LPA. Top companies even I do not know which companies come every year. If a new startup comes I will suggest going off-campus. College never gives internships, we have to find ourselves and apply for them. Top roles offered in my course are CAD experts and product managers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure from outside will look great but from the inside it is literally nothing. Classrooms are never clean, fan gives warm air instead of making the temperature cool. Library is always crowded. Food is good and at a very affordable rate. Sports is just a myth management committees lots under the name of sports.
Faculty: Faculty members don't know what they are teaching. They say they have experience in teaching for 15 years but still students fail the course. Partially makes students industry-ready but without any practical thing, it is nothing. Semester exams are difficult, no doubts are cleared. Checking is not done thoroughly.

The best college for engineering.
Placements: My college provides good placements and has an average package of 4.5 LPA, which is not that bad for a fresher, and the highest package placement was 52 LPA, but it was off campus overall. My college is good at package placements, and many companies come to my college.
Infrastructure: My college is located in a very good area in Andheri West, near a big ocean, and the weather is always good outside. My college campus is very attractive, classrooms are well maintained, and every class room has a smart board, which makes teaching easy.
Faculty: My college takes exams very cleverly and in a disciplined manner. They change classes for every exam so that students do not copy. 1 class has at least 2 supervisors who are very active and strict. If someone is caught cheating in an exam, strict action is taken.

Our college has good infrastructure with beach view.
Placements: Students with good CGPA get placed in our college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, AWS, and many more. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1.5 LPA. The role offered is associate. Students can easily apply for internships online as it is very easy to find internships.
Infrastructure: Library of our college is good. Free Wi-Fi is provided if students join a committee. The canteen serves good food and there are less food stalls around the college. There is a Juhu beach view from the 1st floor. Few sports like kabaddi, etc., are available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very knowledgeable and helpful for students anytime. Question papers include important questions suggested by teachers during classes. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I'm curious to learn more about machines. Our college organises a college fest, cultural events, and many more. It gives enjoyable college life.

It is better place to get knowledge as well as for other activities.
Placements: 40-50% percent get placed through campus. The highest package was 29 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Worley, Burns and McDonnell are the top recruiting companies. Our most of the placements are in Design based company. So, one must have technical as well as Software related knowledge and most importantly, speaking skills.
Infrastructure: Our institute has a good quality of teaching as well as non teaching staff. Our college also has well maintained library with Computers and Wi-Fi connection for educational purposes. Our Canteen is good enough and budget friendly. Our college also has Sports known as OLYMPIA.
Faculty: Our most of the teachers are highly qualified and also had great knowledge. Some of teachers also give knowledge about on-going scenario. About semester exams, an average student can score good marks if they regularly attend the lectures.

It is a good college for mechanical engineering but placements are average.
Placements: Around 40-50% of students are placed. For the mechanical department, only 20% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies are Worley, Burns, McDonnell, TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini. The highest salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA to 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA and 4 LPA. A student gets placed as a mechanical engineer, engineer trainee, junior software engineer, junior data analyst, etc. Students get internships in companies like Adani and Thermal Power Plant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average but our campus is not big. There is 7 storey building. Wi-Fi is available on campus. Our college also has a big library and several books are available. The hostel is not available. The canteen is provided but the food quality is not good. The sports facility is average. It also provides a small gym on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average because teachers cannot teach the whole syllabus due to limited lecture hours. Our course curriculum is as per Mumbai University, and it is good. Semester exams are not difficult and around 80-90% of students pass the exams.

Average satisfied because of infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: The placement sector is good only for the computer and IT fields. Mechanical and electronics don't have that many placement options, rather they apply for coding jobs. Average paid jobs are there. To get placements, competition is good. Only coding-related jobs are frequent, we should be on the computer for them.
Infrastructure: It is small but looks good from the outside. Inside is good, no air-condition in classrooms, else structure is good. The elavators do not work at times. The ground is not big. The canteen is average. The classrooms are big. The washrooms are a bit good. The overall college infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The subjects are good, and the syllabus followed is the Mumbai University syllabus, All subjects are taken from the University syllabus except the optional elective subjects which are chosen by the college. The staff for some subjects is are not good. For experiments, practicals are satisfactory but machines are old. The curriculum is good.

In this college, there are no faculty members.
Placements: Getting placements here is very difficult, even if students get there are no good opportunities. The top roles offered in our college are mainly from the mechanical branch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. Students struggle a lot over here in terms of academics and extra activities. There is no learning as compared to other colleges. Students get an exam timetable a week before. There is no proper canteen and there is also no promotion of any kind of sports.
Faculty: Students get the portion and the timetable a week ago and no institute would want to have their students. They score fewer marks and get a back and repeat exams.

It has excellent faculty members.
Placements: In my college, about 30-40% of students get placement. About 20% of students opt for higher studies, and the remaining seek of job. Companies like Infosys, TCS, L&T and Mahindra visit our college for placements. The salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 14-17 LPA, but only a few students are able to get that.
Infrastructure: Our college is beside Versova Beach, which cherishes the soul and makes a beautiful environment to study. Our college does not provide a hostel facility, and students from outside make a group of 4-5 students, and stay in nearby societies room on fare. Our college canteen serves vegetarian food students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and supportive. If you are Marathi, then it is like a blessing because, after the lecture, you can talk with faculty in their native language and solve your doubt in a simple manner. Not only for Marathi students, but teachers are also very much supportive of the ones who really want to study and research.
Other: I actually not enjoyed my college life so much due to the pandemic, but still, I remember our college fest. A sports fest is going on, and we enjoy it a lot. In the cultural fest, there is going to be a DJ night the day after tomorrow, but then a pandemic happens. I have heard that our college organises one of the biggest college fests.

You can get admission in RGIT might be branch is not your choice. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai is a decent college providing 100% placement for computer science and information technology branches but it is not so for mechanical branch.

Only 2 or 3 companies visit during the campus placement for mechanical. Average package is around 4 lacs and for placements your pointer must be really high during academics.
