Most of the students get an internship from our college, but the priority is mostly given to CS and IT students, which is very unfair to other branches.

Infrastructure: The Computer Engineering department at RAIT, Navi Mumbai, has modern labs like Mac and Siemens labs, updated hardware/software for AI, ML, and Cybersecurity, spacious AC classrooms, and a resourceful central library. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and shares with DY Patil University broader facilities like a gym, playgrounds, and reliable medical access with DY Patil Hospital nearby. Hostel facilities exist mainly for girls but are costly, while boys prefer PGs, mess food gets mixed reviews. Sports and recreation are strong, with access to the DY Patil Stadium, gym, and pool. Overall, academic infrastructure is excellent, though hostel/food feedback is average.
Faculty: The Computer Engineering faculty at RAIT is highly qualified, with many holding PhDs, and is approachable, supportive, and interactive. They use smartboards, presentations, and guide projects and research. The curriculum is industry relevant, covering fundamentals along with AI, ML, Data Science, and Cybersecurity. It is practical, with projects, coding, and modern tech exposure. Exams are moderately difficult, testing understanding, with internal assessment making them manageable. The pass percentage is above 90%, thanks to supportive teaching. Overall, the department blends theory, practical, and guidance, making students confident and industry ready.
Other: I chose Computer Engineering at RAIT because of my interest in technology, problem-solving, and career opportunities in AI, data Science, and software. The course provides a strong foundation in hardware and software, with labs, projects, and subjects like AI/ML, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. Placements are strong, with students joining reputed IT and product firms. Faculty are supportive, and clubs like IEEE and CSI enhance learning. Fests like Horizons and Infinite Loop, plus a vibrant crowd, make campus life lively. Improvements in canteen facilities, internships, and syllabus updates would make the experience better.

A great pick in the Navi Mumbai region, this college actually values skills over grades.
Placements: 90% of the students get placed, and those 10% are students who are not academically inclined. Average placement lies around 7 LPA-10 LPA. Higher ends of placement lie around 16 LPA-17 LPA. Over 65% of students got internships. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bosch, L&T Infotech, Deloitte, Barclays, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Zensar. Roles offered are data analyst, IT consultant, Database engineer, software engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-maintained infrastructure with modern, air-conditioned classrooms and clean washrooms. Labs are well-equipped for practical learning, and the library offers a wide range of academic resources. Overall, the campus is clean, organized, and student-friendly.
Faculty: The teachers at RAIT are supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, making complex topics easier to understand. The IT curriculum is updated and aligned with industry needs, offering hands-on learning. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the overall pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose IT because of my interest in coding, problem-solving, and the vast career opportunities in the tech field. The best part about the course is its practical approach and industry-relevant subjects. I wish there were more advanced elective options and deeper project exposure. The campus is always buzzing with events, workshops, and teach fests, along with fun concerts and cultural programs. The crowd is energetic, connectivity is good, and there are ample opportunities for extracurricular and scholarships.

RAIT is one of the best colleges, and I am currently studying here. I'm a proud RAITian.
Placements: In RAIT, there is 100% placement. Every student gets the opportunity to work in their dream job. The highest package offered is 43 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA across all fields. The most in-demand fields are AIML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and core IT branches. Nearly 100% of students get internships at various companies like Deloitte, Amazon, and Google Pay.
Infrastructure: Every facility is provided to every student, with delicious mess food on time. RAIT is very clean compared to others. There is 24/7 electricity. The labs are equipped with multiple ACs, and classrooms have digital boards to make learning faster and easier to understand.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They take 3 internal assessments as revision before the semester exams. The exams are difficult, but the way teachers teach ensures you never fail. The course makes us industry-ready, by the end, you just need to revise, and you’ll remember everything. Professors are friendly and clear each doubt.

I love my college more than anything.
Placements: I joined D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth for the very same reason that there are 100% placements and very good companies visit the college to provide placements. The highest package offered in placements was 42 LPA for the last year. It provides internships in the 3rd year itself.
Infrastructure: I have seen the hostel and the infrastructure is quite vast and big. There are 3 hostels one for boys and one for girls. There is a hostel for both in the same building named Centre of Excellence and their girls hostel is right below the boys hostel.
Faculty: The course I am doing is quite good. The first semester exam can be cleared easily and the second semester which I find hard to clear as of now the results are not out for the second semester. However, it is difficult for me to answer such hard questions.
Other: The crowd is awesome. Seniors will help us literally with anything if we have a doubt.

It is advanced in infrastructure and decent in placements.
Placements: Placements are confused about it because I am the very first batch of this course. Job offerings right now are for the role of SDE and being an AI ML student. It is a question to continue doing AI ML or switch to SDE from the placement point of view. Because for students placements are important.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Library, canteen, high tech, and advanced labs based on trending domains like Apple lab, Robotics lab, intel unnati lab, Blockchain lab, etc., are available. Students can work in these labs by obtaining permission. Few classrooms don't have AC which I feel isn't worth paying so much fees.
Faculty: The course curriculum is decent enough and faculty members too. Many faculty members are good enough in the teaching point of view. Some of them even guide us for betterment in academics and life. Few faculty members in this college lack somewhere behind. Giving unwanted trouble to students and parents can be avoided by this college.
Other: This college is very good for fests and events. We will enjoy our university life here. Somewhere it lacks if we want to do extraordinary work like bigger projects or hackathons, etc., due to its mismanagement and internal politics. From the placement point of view, we get a very minimum package in hands as compared to the amount of fees we pay.

A short review about DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai.
Placements: The college has placements for all the students with a 100% guarantee, and the best companies are hiring students from our college and giving opportunities to the students to work with them. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart and many more companies come to give opportunities to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. It has Wi-Fi in all labs and on all floors; they have smart boards of the latest technology and have a big library where students can study and take books for their knowledge. The hostel fee for 1 year is 3 lakh, so it's on you to have a hostel or take a PG nearby.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very good to all the students and every semester there are 4 exams held: 3 are internal and 1 is an end sem. There are a total of 8 semesters for four years. The exams that are held are not hard nor easy; they are of medium-level exams and the teaching of the teachers is very easy to learn.
Other: As I was a computer science student in my HSC, I also have an interest in computers and coding.
