They use smartboards, presentations, and guide projects and research. The curriculum is industry relevant, covering fundamentals along with AI, ML, Data Science, and Cybersecurity. A great pick in the Navi Mumbai region, this college actually values skills over grades.
Placements: 90% of the students get placed, and those 10% are students who are not academically inclined. Average placement lies around 7 LPA-10 LPA. Higher ends of placement lie around 16 LPA-17 LPA. Over 65% of students got internships. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bosch, L&T Infotech, Deloitte, Barclays, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Zensar. Roles offered are data analyst, IT consultant, Database engineer, software engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-maintained infrastructure with modern, air-conditioned classrooms and clean washrooms. Labs are well-equipped for practical learning, and the library offers a wide range of academic resources. Overall, the campus is clean, organized, and student-friendly.
Faculty: The teachers at RAIT are supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, making complex topics easier to understand. The IT curriculum is updated and aligned with industry needs, offering hands-on learning. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the overall pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose IT because of my interest in coding, problem-solving, and the vast career opportunities in the tech field. The best part about the course is its practical approach and industry-relevant subjects. I wish there were more advanced elective options and deeper project exposure. The campus is always buzzing with events, workshops, and teach fests, along with fun concerts and cultural programs. The crowd is energetic, connectivity is good, and there are ample opportunities for extracurricular and scholarships.

Good placement but not good if you want to study.
Placements: Better than other colleges. Almost everyone was placed, and if you aren't below average, you can expect a good package. The minimum package is probably 3 LPA, and the highest is about 30 LPA. I'm not that aware of what companies are recruiting, but from what I've heard, they're decent and from abroad.
Infrastructure: Good, but there is discrimination for B.Tech students. There's AC in some classes, say about 20% but the rest don't have it. Decent nonetheless, but could be improved. The canteen is good, but the sports are bad as they don't allow us to play there unless it's a tournament.
Faculty: Not the best, the courses aren't organized, and are very professional at times. Teachers are rude, and the staff is as well. 50% of the courses given aren't useful to an extent, but they're good if you're interested in multiple fields. Though it's a tragedy for it to be included in your CGPA.

RAIT is one of the best colleges, and I am currently studying here. I'm a proud RAITian.
Placements: In RAIT, there is 100% placement. Every student gets the opportunity to work in their dream job. The highest package offered is 43 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA across all fields. The most in-demand fields are AIML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and core IT branches. Nearly 100% of students get internships at various companies like Deloitte, Amazon, and Google Pay.
Infrastructure: Every facility is provided to every student, with delicious mess food on time. RAIT is very clean compared to others. There is 24/7 electricity. The labs are equipped with multiple ACs, and classrooms have digital boards to make learning faster and easier to understand.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They take 3 internal assessments as revision before the semester exams. The exams are difficult, but the way teachers teach ensures you never fail. The course makes us industry-ready, by the end, you just need to revise, and you’ll remember everything. Professors are friendly and clear each doubt.

I love my college more than anything.
Placements: I joined D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth for the very same reason that there are 100% placements and very good companies visit the college to provide placements. The highest package offered in placements was 42 LPA for the last year. It provides internships in the 3rd year itself.
Infrastructure: I have seen the hostel and the infrastructure is quite vast and big. There are 3 hostels one for boys and one for girls. There is a hostel for both in the same building named Centre of Excellence and their girls hostel is right below the boys hostel.
Faculty: The course I am doing is quite good. The first semester exam can be cleared easily and the second semester which I find hard to clear as of now the results are not out for the second semester. However, it is difficult for me to answer such hard questions.
Other: The crowd is awesome. Seniors will help us literally with anything if we have a doubt.

Campus tour of RAIT in brief.
Placements: Companies like TCS, Cognizant, KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., come to our college. The average package is 4 LPA - 5 LPA, and the highest salary is 12 LPA. 90% of students sit for placements, and rest go for masters. Companies start coming from June and July months of final year studies.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries are well-equipped. For studies, you can find all the books in the library. Labs are also renovated and are very attractive now. There are data analytics lab, cyber lab, robotics lab, etc. Although there are no Wi-Fi facilities for students.
Faculty: Exams are of medium level, easy to pass. You just have to give a little effort to pass your exams. Teachers have great knowledge of their particular subjects. You can always ask them any doubts and they are always ready to guide and brief you. Maximum teachers are Ph.D. holders.
Other: As compared to fees, the companies that college brings are of very low packages. Return on investment is low. In my opinion, if the college is increasing fees, then companies with higher packages should be coming. Also, students who are serious about their studies should be getting admissions, so that the standard of college is maintained.

Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology Cutoff FAQs

Q:   How are Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology 2023 cut off marks determined?
A:

The determination of cut-off marks for the Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) in 2023 relies on a combination of critical factors:

Application Volume: The number of applicants for each specific programme and course significantly influences the cut-off marks.

Seat Availability: The total available seats in each programme and course play a crucial role in setting cut-off marks.

Entrance Exam Complexity: The level of difficulty in the entrance exam for the respective programme is considered. (JEE, MH CET, GATE, etc.)

Candidate Performance: The actual performance of candidates in the entrance exam is taken into account.

Previous Year's Data: Past year's cut-off marks are also considered for reference.

It's essential to note that the cut-off marks may fluctuate from year to year. Generally, programs and courses with higher demand tend to have higher cut-off marks, while those with less demand may have comparatively lower cut-off marks. As a result, the cut-off marks for admission can vary annually, reflecting the unique circumstances of each admission cycle.

Q:   Can I get into Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology with 70%?
A:

Admission to Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) is within your reach with a commendable 70% in your Class 12th examinations. RAIT's general eligibility criterion entails a minimum of 50% in Class 12th. Nevertheless, the actual cut-off marks for admission may fluctuate, influenced by specific programs and the applicant pool. If you can showcase a robust entrance exam score and a well-rounded academic history, meeting or slightly exceeding the 70% benchmark in Class 12th can significantly bolster your chances of securing admission at RAIT.

Prospective students should apply for admission to RAIT exclusively through the MHT-CET examination.

For those interested in the Master of Engineering (M.E) program, candidates should hold a 4-year bachelor's degree in BE/B.Tech with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Admission to the M.E program is dependent on achieving a qualifying score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The Centralized Application Process (CAP) is responsible for conducting counseling for GATE-qualified applicants.
