It's really good to study at Rathinam.

Placements: In my college, the placement percentage is 100%. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Several companies visit are related to the psychology field, mainly for clinical psychology. The top role offered is a psychologist in a reputable company. Internship at the end of each semester provides good exposure during college.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, separate labs for each department, and a library with AC. Regarding the hostel and food, it's good for the fees paid. Sports and medical facilities are available. The mess food is good. Books regarding every department are available in the library. The hostel infrastructure is good.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams can be difficult, but you can crack them if you study well before the exams. The pass percentage is 45%. If you get 45 in the exam, you pass. The syllabus is relevant to the course, and it makes students ready for the job.

Other: Events are conducted during the semesters. Other than that, every occasion is celebrated like Pongal, Onam, etc. Scholarships are also available, and sports are given priority.

The experience was good because of good placement offers in 2024. The facilities were average.

Placements: There are 70% students who got placed in our course. The highest package offered was 3.5LPA and the lowest was 1.5LPA. Many companies like TCS, Deloitte, and many start up companies offered good packages. The major roles were that of counselling, BPO, and academic counsellors.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of the college is good. Our department was equipped with all the necessary facilities along with labs having all of the new and advanced equipments. The quality of food available in our college was good and not highly priced.

Faculty: The faculty members were knowledgeable and they are very friendly. Their teaching techniques were very good and easy to understand. The curriculum was mostly relevant to the outside world and many of us got practical knowledge. The passing percentage was 40%.

I was only able to get through it because of my friend. The college was pretty bad.

Placements: 0% of the students were placed in my course because there was not even a single opportunity for core jobs related to psychology. There were no packages offered due to the lack of opportunities. No top recruiting companies visited for my course because of a lack of scope in the Bachelors degree.

Infrastructure: The facilities available were not satisfactory as there was no Wi-Fi availability. We didn't have many facilities. The department, during the first year of college, was beautiful only because of the previous HOD. But now, the department is gloomy with less number of classes. At times, the students have to sit in the laboratory.

Faculty: The teachers are okay, friendly and helpful but lacked extensive experience. The classes are taken with the help of PPT which makes it worse. It would narrow out minds because we would only learn the PPT and appear for the exams and even get really good marks just by filling the pages. Students who were knowledgeable, lost their motivation because the person who filled a lot of pages scored as much as they did. The exams are not difficult because the questions are repeated. It felt like the management was experimenting. The passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I was not interested in psychology, it was because of my brother that I chose this course. A lot of money was sourced from us even when we didn’t attend the fest. I had to pay around 3- 4 thousand without even attending any event in the past 3 years.

Good college, if used in the right way can help you achieve great things.

Placements: Only 10-15 members got placed in my course, as the opportunities for placement in psychology were bleak. But there are a lot of opportunities for other streams. The highest package was around 6 LPA, the lowest was around 2 LPA. There were no companies that recruited for the stream of psychology.

Infrastructure: The facilities in the department and the course were good. There wasn't much to complain about. It was good. The Wi-Fi was not available most of the time, but there was no necessity for Wi-Fi as everyone had data on their mobile phones. I heard that the quality of food in the hostel was a bit bad. I didn't experience it because I rented a house outside.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified, but they lacked experience. The faculty members are very friendly and helpful. The semester exams are very easy, the format is not so good. It will allow you to learn out of the box, once you get accustomed to the system here. It was very normal.

Other: There are a lot of events that take place in Rathinam, it can be very entertaining.

Really good syllabus and infrastructures

Placements: In department 78% of them are placed, the packages provided upto the range of 20000 to 45000 ,More then 70%have placed roles in (special educators rehabilitation center & other branch fields - call centers, system based, soft skill trainers, media field, start ups, ).

Infrastructure: Library and labs try to cover up all learning meterials in need of study purposes, other facility like canteen,wifi, cab, public transport availability, class rooms, stone benches, auditorium, hostel facility are very good and Non academic help for students like business start ups support are provided when the idea are good.

Faculty: Staff are very helpful for students development in both academic and extracurricular activities staff are very knowledgeable and so updated in the fields new developments and upcoming research based updates are given for students and making students to participate in academic related technical events outside collages too

Other: End of persuing a psychology degree i have changed my few view towards life has changed and it a self exploratory for me know my self
