Our college has good infrastructure and teachers.
Placements: The placement scenario of our college is not good. Many companies stopped visiting our college because of covid. Our college provides good placement opportunities for MBA and PGDM courses. You have to learn skills by yourself because they won't help you. Students have to find internships and placements by themselves.
Infrastructure: Our campus is small. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners, smart boards, speakers, and mics. Classrooms are one of the best in Bhubaneswar. Labs are average. The Wi-Fi facility is not good. Hostels are not good. They won't provide any facilities even after complaining. Previously, the Wi-Fi was good. The library is basic. It has a lot of spiritual books along with course books, regular newspapers, and magazines. Hostels are situated very far. The hostel provides personal bathrooms and regular cleaning services. The hostel rooms are large and well-ventilated. The hostel rooms are equipped with air-conditioners. They are affordable. The canteen is average. Our college provides facilities for games like badminton, gully cricket, billiards, and TT. Music is promoted by the club. The music club has drums, guitars, etc.
Faculty: Many teachers are knowledgeable in their fields. They teach using PPTs and boards. Exams are conducted regularly in a disciplined way. They are friendly. The course curriculum is not up-to-date, but students can learn many things by themselves. Our college organises industrial visits.

Regional College of Management is not good for BCA.
Placements: Not a single student in our batch got placed through campus placements, but some students from our college got placed. Their education system for BCA is not good for anyone who comes from non-IT background and who wants to pursue a career in software engineering. Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, and many other companies visit our campus, but none of them will hire a person with no knowledge about how things work. If you are a hardworking person and don't depend too much on teachers and self-study is your merit, then you get roles like system engineer, system analyst, software developer, software tester, network engineer, and many more.
Infrastructure: RCM has a Wi-Fi campus. They have quite decent computer labs. Classrooms are well furnished. The library has thousands of books, but you are not allowed to take a book that is not related to your course. You can read it there. There is a canteen attached to the back of the college. There is Kalinga Hospital about 300 meters from the college campus. There is no dedicated playground for sports. There is only space for indoor games like volleyball, gully cricket, and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified, but they don't upgrade their teaching with the changing syllabus. Some teachers were providing the same notes from the day they started working in RCM as teachers. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. If you work hard, it's very easy to score good grades.

Regional College of Management: Overall point of view of a student.
Placements: Placements are not satisfied here. Only a few students with excellent academics get placed here that too in small-scale pay. The college also doesn't provide internships to students. It's a good college for an MBA or MCA but not good for a BCA in my opinion.
Infrastructure: The course is very high for BCA. They charge almost 3 LPA for 3 years, Rs. 40,000 per year for 2 bedrooms, and Rs. 30,000 per year for 3 bedrooms. Hostel rooms are decent, but the discipline in the hostel is not good. They do not provide good mess food.
Faculty: Faculty is good here. They teach you whatever the course demands. They are friendly. The curriculum has less loads on students of the BCA course. They conduct 2 internal exams for each semester. Viva and practical systems are good. Exams are also conducted smoothly.

It is the best college which has the best in everything.
Placements: It is the college providing the best placements in Odisha. Almost 95% students got placed in 2017. The placement cell is cooperative that it helps the students to be confident about their new beginning in their profession. They help you to be strongly eligible to face any campus interviews.
Infrastructure: There is the best infrastructure. It is Wi-Fi enabled campus, which is available 24*7. The library named Gyan Sagar has the collection of around 15,000 books. Aryabhatta lab is there for the internet enabled library, having over 500 PCs. A large cafeteria is present. There is an excellent atmosphere.
Faculty: There are the best faculty members from around the country. They are very cooperative and talented. They let you be the best version of yourself, which enables you to be strongly confident and become a scholar. That is why the college ranked 12th in the whole country in 2017 and 1st in east India.
Other: Outermost surrounding is also very student friendly with a large cafeteria on the campus. It is connected to the national highway in just 150 meters.

Decent college with good campus and hostel life, teachers are mild, exam dates are unpredictable.
Placements: Most of the students from our batch got placed, with the percentage being around 70 to 80%. The highest package offered is decent for freshers, while the lowest is an entry level offer, and the average package remained moderate. Top recruiters included IT companies, consultancies, and a few startups. Around 40 to 50% of students also received internship opportunities in companies related to tech, marketing, and finance, which gave them good exposure. The top roles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, Business Development Associate, and Management Trainee. Overall, placements were satisfactory, though more core companies could still be included in the future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well maintained with facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, spacious classrooms, and a big library with plenty of reference materials. Projectors and smart boards are available in some classes, which makes learning easier. The hostel is inside the campus and has decent facilities with a clean mess providing both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The food quality is fairly good compared to other hostels, though it can still be repetitive at times. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, approachable, and helpful in clearing doubts. They make sure students understand the concepts, although sometimes teaching quality depends on the individual faculty. The curriculum is designed to be industry relevant, covering the basics and advanced concepts needed for higher studies or jobs. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study regularly, and the pass percentage is generally high. Students who prepare properly find exams manageable, though last minute preparation can be tricky. The curriculum could include more practical exposure, but overall, it keeps students on track with current industry requirements.
Other: I chose this course because it provides a strong foundation in management and technology, along with opportunities for internships and placements. The best part about the course is the balance between academics, events, and practical exposure. One thing that could improve is including more hands on projects and industry collaborations. Events and fests are well organized, and the campus has a good crowd. Scholarships and extracurricular activities also add to the overall experience. Connectivity and surroundings are decent, and overall, the course offers a good mix of learning and personal growth.
