It is a good college to study in.

Placements: Placements are provided depending on the course. Around 10% of students are interested to do internships.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. Labs are well maintained. Classrooms have air-conditioners. Library has many books. Canteen serves good food based on prices.

Faculty: Exams are not difficult. The pass marks are 20 out of 60. Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is good. It makes students industry ready.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in CS. Our college has many clubs like BJYMC and many more.

Absolutely satisfied from this college. It is totally value for money studying here.

Placements: Top recruiters are NIIT Technologies, Flipkart, Amazon, Mastercard, TCS, TechMahindra. Average LPA offered is 8 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA and the highest is 10 LPA.100percent students are getting placements here. Flipkart and TCS offers 80percentage students internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure facilities available in this department is very excellent. Library has a wide choice of books. Wi-Fi coverage is available throughout the campus. Classrooms are very clean with proper boards and smartclasses. Hostel is excellent and food in the canteen is also very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualifies and knowledgeable. Teachers have a good knowledge about the course. Students are made industry ready. Semester exams are very difficult it requires a student to study all over the year to secure good marks. Passing percentage is 33%. .

Other: I found ample of opportunities in this course. Events, fest are being conducted in this campus frequently. Students are invited to join the events to improve their social skills.

A review of RIMS - Rourkela Institute of Management Studies.

Placements: RIMS offers very good placement opportunities. Renowned companies like Net Connect Solutions, NIIT technologies, Flipkart and companies from all over India visit the campus for placements. Our college also provides very nice placement and training sessions with the help of very experienced placement officers. In the placement and training session, they mostly focus on the attitude, behaviour, communication and presentation skills of the candidate. The college also conducts CPT (College Placement Test) so that only genuine and deserving candidates can appear for the further placement sessions. In 2018, when I got placed in Net Connect Solutions, more than 60% of the students from MBA, MCA, and PGDM courses were placed in various companies. I don't know about the highest salary package offered, but most of the students were offered a salary package of 3.50-4 LPA.

Infrastructure: RIMS is surrounded by various educational institutions as there are many schools and colleges near the campus such as Pharmacy College and DPS school, etc. RIMS also provides numerous facilities like workshops on web development, digital marketing, seminars and webinars on cloud computing and app development programmes. There is a huge and highly equipped library which has all the course related books and journals along with newspapers from more than five different sources. RIMS provides more than 500 PCs to the students so that each individual can focus on his/her overall project development skills. The college is also providing R&D facility for the researchers. They also provide canteen facilities, and free Wi-Fi facility is provided for the students so that they can gain information from the web sources.

Faculty: Most of the RIMS faculty members have completed their PhDs. So they have a vast knowledge of their specialised subjects. They are helping students in all areas whether it's regarding verbal classes or digital classes. They are very helpful to students in their projects and seminars. RIMS is proving a faculty member to each batch of 20 students so that the faculty will have enough time to clear the doubts of all students. Apart from this, RIMS is offering courses like BBA, BCA, BJMC, MJMC, PGDM, MBA, and MCA, etc. The college takes students on an educational tour for their workshop. Recently we went to NIT, Rourkela to learn about software engineering.

Other: My college is best college in my state. I studied three years there it was so much fun that I spent good times at college. I had a good principal and all faculties were good and friendly to us. They taught us so nice way which we could understand to the core of the subject. We organize sports day and other actives at our college premises.it was Co-education College. We celebrates some festivals also at my college. Our best faculty Mr.Mohapatra is a nice n best person in this world. We had 3 batches over there. We respect our seniors and loves also us too very much and helped in everything if we get problem.

I am dissatisfied because of the playground. Our college provided good placements in 2017.

Placements: Our college provides very good placements for both batches. Around 62% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 16,000 per month. Top companies like Wipro, TCS, Tata Steel, and Vedanta visited our college to find some seriously talented students. The roles offered were good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. We had facilities like Wi-Fi, a practical lab for both computer and IT software. There were many types of libraries for different courses. Even there was a very good hospital with a new costly machine. The canteen on the campus was nice and was one of my favorites.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful to students and they also clear our doubts. They were highly qualified and experienced. The teaching quality was very good and easily explained. The student-faculty ratio was 100 to 408. The course and curriculum were useful.

Other: Good events were held in our college. All the students participated in events, fest, etc.

Placements: A number of campus come to our institute every year. The companies are pretty good and offers a good salary with some extra benefits like free health cheakup and life insurance etc. There are some companies who offers an average range of salary but that's okay.

Infrastructure: It is one of the finest college of Odisha. This institute provide all types of facilities to its students. The structure of this institute is good enough and the environment is perfect for studying. The classrooms have enough space and all rooms are provided with air conditioner. Three is a big library here where you can find any of your book. Finally the annual sports meet is so exciting.

Faculty: The teachers of this institute are qualified and well trained. They know how to teach. They always try to teach a subject so clearly as every students understand the subject. They also offers some extra classes for solving students doubt. The friendly nature of the teachers helps us to talk with them confidently.

Other: There are many events executed like some quiz show, singing, dancing show etc. Every type of talent hunt events are organised here. The main highlight if the annual fest where some famous persons are invited to motivate the students.
