The placement cell has organized numerous training programs, workshops, and mock interviews to prepare students for the recruitment process. As a result, many students have secured lucrative job offers, with some even receiving international placements. Overall, the placement scenario in our college is promising and has given us a great start to our careers.

The faculty is good, and 2023 placement is good.
Placements: I don't no the percent of students were placed, the lowest package is 3 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the highest is 10 to 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies for your course are Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Electric and Robotics.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good. The Wi-Fi network is good, and the labs and computers are clean. The course study material is very excellent. The hostel is very clean and good, and the food is very good, tasty, and healthy. They also provide non-veg food.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly to the students, and students are comfortable to speak with teachers. The teachers are good in teaching and explaining the topic detailed, and the course will not make you completely ready to industry. It's not difficult, and the pass percentage is 35%.

The college got both good and bad, but mostly bad.
Placements: I was in the ISE branch which is very similar to CS. The only difference would be a change in one or two subjects. The college has got the worst placement cell and coordinators, who bring in sales, call center, and business executive job companies which do mass hiring in the name of on-campus hiring. I have only seen one IT company that held on-campus hiring in college and that too it provided the worst offer. For internships, the college provides a Rooman IT internship which is graded as the worst by many people and others. The college says on its brochure above 50 hiring companies.
Infrastructure: The college labs and a digital library are well-equipped. It has a high-speed internet connection. All classrooms are equipped with projectors helping students and lecturers to get more information and content. Then talking about the college Wi-Fi, it's useless. You will find it hard to send a single text on WhatsApp with that speed. One thing that cheers students is the green campus and good canteens within the campus. The college also has a GYM and is well-maintained along the indoor badminton stadium, TT, and basketball courts. The college committee encourages its students with various sports.
Faculty: A time ago, the college had experienced faculty members and many of them resigned just to join other colleges in the same district or the other for better pay. The college follows the same outdated and irrelevant subjects and syllabus provided by VTU. Most of the time you will find yourself writing some useless assignment or working on some report of something. Since it is easy to find old question papers and study materials online for those outdated and old subjects. The college sure has a high passing percentage. They have good faculty. I don't think the course curriculum gets you industry-ready.
Other: The college should improve on scheduling events and fests. The college organizes fests and events only once a year that too for 5-6 days. I haven't experienced any extracurricular activity in 4 years of my engineering in this college except for those once-a-year fests and some rare activities.

Value for money in college for computer science.
Placements: At Rajeev Institute, 45% of the students get placements in CSE. Various companies visit the college for placements. The average package offered at college was 3–9 LPA. At this college, the top recruiting companies were Infosys, Teach Mahindra, Accenture, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. Our college gives all the facilities to the students. Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, canteens, etc. Facilities were available in our college. The college also offers hostel facilities. The food in the hostel mess was good to eat. Sports facilities were given to the students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They were teaching us all the concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. The course curriculum at the college was relevant. NIT makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college were medium-difficult.

B.Tech. in Electronic & Communication Engineering (VLSI Design) - Batch of 2027

5Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Average 3rd tier college, Average overall.
Placements: Ours is the first batch in the VLSI Design Engineering course, and the placements for us will be in the 6th semester, which is two years later. As per my knowledge, the course has attracted very few companies, and those that do hire are mostly in the field of Computer Science.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi; food is not good at the canteen. The college campus is not spacious, as there are three colleges running in the same infrastructure. The campus life is literally not good, as there is no Wi-Fi connection for the students, and the classrooms are not well-equipped.
