Strong curriculum, excellent teachers, good placements, and supportive campus life at SBJ College.
Placements: I am from the 2024 CSE batch at SB Jain. About 85% of students got placed, with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 12 LPA and an average of 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. Nearly 70% of students secured internships at IBM and Capgemini in roles like software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Campus has spacious classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi, updated computer labs, and large library, hostels secure accommodation, decent mess food, medical aid, and good sports facilities. It has grounds and gym. It ensures a supportive, academic, and living environment.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, knowledgeable, and deliver quality teaching with practical insights. The curriculum is up-to-date and industry-relevant. Preparing students well for the job market. Semester exams are moderately challenging with an average pass percentage of around 90%.
Other: I chose CSE for its strong curriculum and good placements. Faculty members and practical learning are excellent. Our campus has vibrant and good connectivity. Scholarship enhance campus life. I wish for better Wi-Fi and more advanced labs. But overall, it's a supportive and growth-focused environment.

A really good college with good placements.
Placements: About 85% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4.2 LPA. Companies like HCLTech, TCS, Infosys, Infocept, Persistent, and Perficient are the top recruiters. Approximately 50% of students secured off-campus internships. Top roles offered include software engineer, data analyst, full stack developer, and QA tester.
Infrastructure: Facilities at the campus are good; Wi-Fi is available. The canteen offers healthy food, and medical facilities are provided. Classrooms are fully modern. The institute provides grounds and courts for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and lawn tennis, as well as a swimming pool.
Faculty: Teachers are cooperative, well-qualified with many holding postgraduate and doctoral degrees, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are at a moderate level. Regular guest lectures and workshops by industry experts also add to the learning experience. Regular assessment and continuous evaluation help track student progress.

College is good and campus is very nice.
Placements: Talking about the percentage of students placed every year, it is near about 40%. The highest package of this institute is 6 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA, with the lowest package starts from 2 LPA. The companies for ECE are mostly software-based; very few companies come for hardware. Talking about companies visited, they include Proficient Nagpur, Nice Solution, Persistent, Blueberry, and many small-level companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good and the faculty is very nice. Facilities are good, including the lab, classroom, and library. In electrical engineering, computer lab monitor needs to be replaced. The college hostel is good, the food quality is decent, the medical facilities are good and the sports facilities need improvement. And college didn't support you in sports if the exam and sports match were on the same day.
Faculty: S. B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management and Research in Nagpur, Maharashtra has a variety of faculty members with different areas of expertise, and uses a variety of teaching methods to engage students: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The faculty includes Dr. Manish Goswami, an Associate Professor with a Ph.D. in CSE, and other Assistant Professors.

Barely any placements, no college & no growth in skills due to poor crowd.
Placements: The highest package for the CSE department on campus is 4.5 LPA. Only 20–25 students among the 130 students in the 2024 batch got placed. I've finished my 6th semester, & no company has come to hire us yet. The company with the maximum package that has come to campus is 3.5 LPa with a 2-year bond.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi until last year; now there is Wi-Fi but with no signal. No grass on the football field; we don't have access to a swimming pool; the food in the canteen is good & reasonable. The labs in the college are alright, the library is good, & there is a sports cell for equipment.
Faculty: The curriculum is alright; nothing extra ordinary. The grading system is really suspicious of our college. People who can't even read a paragraph in English are given an 'A'. Whereas those who are good at English get 'B'. I literally didn't recommend the college to even my relatives.
Other: I was on the student council's core team. There are hardly any events; we literally had to beg college authorities for events.

If you have a score of 70 to 80% in 12th grade, this college is for you.
Placements: 40% of students were placed on the college campus, and the highest package till now is INR 14 LPA. The average package is good for a fresher, and the companies that are recruiting students are Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and many more well-known ones in the tech industry.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, as the geological location of our college is perfect for a place to study and develop your skills, and the best parts are sunsets, ventilation, and the fact that they clean the premises in every 10 minutes. The clean environment and the fact that food and water are provided are unquestionable.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but some are new ones who have recently joined and are obviously not perfect in teaching, as some just read the PPT and provide the notes, and we have to study on our own, but some are professionals who are skilled and have good experience in teaching, which makes them the best ones to guide you in your whole journey.
