Other: SMEC is improving a lot nowadays in the respect of its infrastructure, faculty, and food at the hostel. Good place to learn and enjoy. Even the placements are really good. Many companies visit for campus interviews and if any student is not placed they arrange an alumni meet to help the student get placed. This program has been started effectively from this year.

Other: Goods: They are growing at a good pace. During my time they had no placements, but now they have a few. Good bus facility. Bad: The college atmosphere is really bad. Food won't be good. Hostel facilities are not good. Lecturers are not friendly nor do they teach practically. Infrastructure is not good. One has to walk 2 kilometres from public bus stop to the college. No extra-curricular activities are encouraged and no proper sports facilities are available. No proper funds for symposiums.

Other: It was a good place to learn, but it happened only when I got in as a fresher at the year 2010, but later the quality of education got Detroiter due to uptake of below average candidates from the year 2012. Personally I would say that SMEC is not a great place to learn things and improve our standards.
