Teaching faculty is average, but infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: In my previous batch, 70% of students have already been placed,the highest salary package offered was 35 LPA and the average salary package offered was 12 LPA. Top companies include PhonePe, Nomura, Deutsche Bank, JPMC, Morgan Stanley, MSCI, IDFC, and others. For summer internships, Barclays and General Mills offered internships to 30 students.

Infrastructure: College is well-equipped with smartboards and Wi-Fi in each lab and classrooms. Library has a wide range of updated books and offers a digital library as well. There is an in-house canteen that serves great food and snacks at reasonable rates.

Faculty: Faculty members are fully qualified, but not all are supportive. Course curriculum is updated every year. Our batch is not that industry-relevant, but for upcoming batches, it has improved by including subjects like AIML as compulsory. Semester exams are not that difficult. College follows a relative grading system.

College with great campus and guaranteed placement.

Placements: The college has one of the best placements in engineering colleges. It does not differentiate between students for the placements. Inter branch student placements are also allowed. More than 50 companies visit here every year. The average salary package offered here is 10 LPA. Around 95% students gets placed every year and this number is improving continuously.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here. The campus is beautiful and spacious and full of greenery in the middle of big city. The labs and classrooms are well-equipped and spacious. Nearly all labs and classrooms are equipped with air conditioner. As of now, there is no hostel facility for students but there is very good canteen of college.

Faculty: The teachers in SPIT are very well qualified with a Ph.D. from IITs. They are very helpful and will go out their way to help and solve your queries. The college takes extra steps to provide with new and important courses for the students, because being autonomous helps college to modify courses accordingly, even giving options to choose the courses of your own choices.

Other: The college is of course value for money as it not provides good education and different learning methods but also provides students with very good placements. The crowd is great which consists mostly of local Mumbai students, but there are also students from outside cities.

Overall, SPIT college is good to complete your degree and also for placements.

Placements: The placement team of SPIT college is so good. They try their best to help in students' placements. Famous companies like JPMC, Barclay's, Colgate, Morgan Stanley, L&T, Deutsche Bank, etc., visited our college for placements. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA - 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in SPIT. The campus area is so clean and good-looking. There are also a lot of plants and trees and a temple present in the middle of the campus. There is no hostel facility available. There are Wi-Fi range issues like you get Wi-Fi range in specific locations. The canteen is good and there are small food corners outside the college.

Faculty: Faculty members of this college are the same as other engineering colleges but some teachers are so good at teaching. Their teaching style is awesome. Labs are well prepared to perform tasks. Curriculum is updated according to the latest industry requirements. SPIT is very serious about semester exams. You need to study hard to score good marks.

Other: The IT department teachers are so good in their teaching style. So you can go for an IT or computer science course. SPIT arranges so many events, fest, scholarships, and other activities.

The course is modified and designed to meet the requirements of the industry.

Placements: The top roles offered are at multinational companies like Microsoft, PhonePe etc. With the highest package this year of over 40 Lacs. All the students who apply for placements are placed with good packages. Internships offers are also very good which offer both good work experience and packages.

Infrastructure: The labs are very well-equipped with good equipments to help us learn. Library is filled with different and essential books to never stop us from learning. Classrooms are well ventilated with comfortable benches. Medical facilities are ample. Games room can be improved with a few more games.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified to teach their respective courses and are updated with the latest advancements in technology. The course is modified and designed to meet the requirements of the industry thus giving us more than essential knowledge along with other help to excel in our chosen fields.

Really good infrastructure, close to nature.

Placements: Almost all the students who applied for the placement were placed in the top companies, the highest package was bagged by 2 girls at Microsoft of 40 LPA, the average package was of 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Amazon, JPMC, TATA, Oracle, Infosys.

Infrastructure: The classroom, labs and library are very beautiful. The Wi-Fi is available on all 8 floors. We have sport grounds and volleyball court for sports activities, we also have gymkhana where indoor games can be played, medical first aid kit are available on all floors.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and holds good knowledge in their respective fields, they are very much helpful as they are ready to solve doubts at any time even after the lecture hours, but their might be some teachers who will not be that qualified in terms of expressing but overall the teaching staff and our curriculum is best as our college is autonomous we hold the best of the curriculum.

Other: I chose to become IT engineer as its scope in the market is seen to be increasing day by day, at our college we have scope for courses which teaches us the different skills which cannot be taught in classroom, I wish the course would be more like IIT course but it is very much fun to study at SPIT. The cultural fest like Oculus, sports event like Spoorthi makes our college attractive and beat in extracurricular activities, we have SPJIMR, SPCE, SPIT, BHAVANS in our campus which makes a very good campus crowd.

Autonomy in Sardar Patel Institute of Technology.

Placements: 1. Almost 100 % placement rate in college 2. Average salary approximately 10lpa 3. Morgan Stanley, PhonePe, VmWare, JP Morgan, Microsoft (offCampus), Google (offCampus) recruited the students. 4. Software Developer, Financial positions was offered. 6. College recently introduce 6 month internship programme in the 8th semester.

Infrastructure: 1. Good infrastructure. College has different labs with all updated equipment for practicals. All classrooms and labs are air conditioned. College also has library ans book bank system. College also has a TBI. 2/No Hostel, Gymkhana has good games like table tennis. Multiple grounds in the Bhavan's campus.

Faculty: 1. Teachers are knowledgeable. Papers are also constantly published by the faculty. Different skill training programs conducted by college for teachers. Constant feedback taken from students for improvement. 2. Since the college has become autonomous, curriculum has been updated. The latest tech also used. If done sincerely, makes student industry ready.

Other: Has annual event called Occulus which is the technical and cultural fest of the college.

The college has a good reputation.

Placements: Around 85% of the students were placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA, average salary package offered was more than 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.3 LPA. Companies like Credit Suisse, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, JPMC and Barclays visited our campus. Roles offered were technical analyst and software developers. Around 3-5% of the students got an internship in Companies like Credit Suisse, Barclays and Microsoft.

Infrastructure: The college provides very good Wi-Fi and labs facilities. The library had a majority of books which were required for the courses. Classrooms were huge and could accommodate all the students. They were spacious and had the environment for studying. I don't have an idea about the hostels, but the food served at the mess was good.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and had decent knowledge. The teaching quality could be improved if more permanent teachers are hired. Few courses had very obsolete topics. However, a few courses were good. Coursework could have been more industry-specific.

Other: I have chosen this course as I was always interested in computers, so I have selected IT, and it also has a lot of opportunities. The college should provide more modern technologies in the coursework. They provide less awareness about scholarships.

One of the best colleges in Mumbai.

Placements: Almost 99% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, L&T, Infosys, Cognizant, Nomura, Infibeam, etc., visited our college to offer placements. This college is the best for placements.

Infrastructure: The college provided facilities like Wi-Fi, canteen, and library. I didn't face any issue related to the infrastructure during my tenure. Quality of food served in the canteen was good. Sports and other cultural activities were conducted every year. Special sessions were conducted to improve our communication skills. The college provided medical facilities as well.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were well-qualified and knowledgeable. The college organised industrial visits. Practical sessions were conducted vigorously, and the quality of teaching was good. The maximum number of students in a class was 60. The course I pursued was IT, and it was useful.
