I am absolutely satisfied with every corner.
Placements: IIT Bombay is very famous for placements. I got a placement with a package of 20 LPA in the games app development role. There are many courses in the college, and so not many students but a good amount of students got placed in my course. Every student gets internships or jobs. Top roles offered are app development, app beta checker, etc.
Infrastructure: The IIT Bombay campus is very big. I got a hostel room for just only Rs. 15 per year and that is pretty good. Rooms in the hostel have almost 150 Mbps Wi-Fi. The food of the canteen is fantastic. There are no charges for the canteen food and sometimes there is no good food in the canteen so we can go to any other canteen on the campus. Free medical facilities and sports are provided to students.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and their teaching style is also very good. They teach by giving real-life examples and sometimes they organise real-life experiments. The course curriculum is relevant as per the new educational policies and it makes students industy-ready.
Other: There is a huge budget for the fest and events. Here, events organised are very fantastic. The college also provides some trips for students.

The college has a good faculty, decent placements, and good infrastructure.
Placements: 80% of students get placed, with roles like software development engineer. The highest package offered is over 1 crore, and the lowest is around 14 LPA. Microsoft and Google are some of the top companies. I don't have much idea about internships, but I think it is also pretty good. If you have a decent CGPA, it is very easy to crack an internship.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is provided on campus and in hostels. The library is pretty good. The hostel has various facilities like hot water and chilled water. The quality of food in the mess is pretty good, while in the canteen, you have to compromise. Free medical facilities are also provided.
Faculty: The teachers' teaching is so good. They are very good at clarifying doubts and are very open to discussion. The course curriculum helps students to train for the job and helps to manage time and stress efficiently. The semester exams are a bit difficult, and we have to work very hard to maintain decent CGPA.

Best facilities and top college.
Placements: IIT Bombay is well known for good placements, training, and good education. Almost 90% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is 1.5 crores, and the lowest package offered is 19 to 26 LPA. The average packages offered are 35 to 59 LPA. The recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, and IBM. The percentage of students who got internships is 93%. Many roles offered are in development, testing, and software engineering.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good in IIT Bombay. Our department offers many facilities such as Wi-Fi on campus and in classrooms. There is a big library with all the books. The classrooms are neat and clean. The quality of facilities in our hostel is very good, such as food; they provide all different types, like North and South. The mess food is really good. The canteen food is also good but costly.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in assisting students. They are friendly with us. Our teachers are well-qualified, with higher degrees from reputed colleges. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us ready for the industry. Exams in IIT are very tough to pass. The pass percentage in our course is 95%.

As a summary, my college is the best in all aspects, and students love college environment as well.
Placements: Placements are available for students in the seventh semester. The college has a placement team which works so hard for students, and they bring lots of companies to the campus. Last year, around 500 companies visited the campus, and more than 1400 students got placed. The average package offered at IIT Bombay is 23 LPA. From my department, Computer Science, around 307 students have been offered IT/Software jobs by more than 84 companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is amazing, and the size of the campus is huge. Students from various states come to study in the college, and so the college environment is also very nice. The classrooms are large and can accommodate more than 70-80 students per classroom. The classrooms have fans and are air-conditioned as well. The college has a total of 17 hostels, which have both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The mess food quality depends upon the hostel; in my hostel, it is good. Overall, we can say the infrastructure and facilities in the college are great.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They support those students who do the work sincerely and also help in getting research papers published on different sites. We can approach them through mail or go to their cabins. Although there might be difficulties for them to teach so many students, they keep helping and solving our doubts. For exams, notes are enough, and the faculty provides us with PYQs, which are helpful for studies.

Very good college, infrastructure, freedom, and placements are satisfactory.
Placements: Around 80% of people are placed in my course. The highest package will be near and may be more than 1 crore depending on the batch; the lowest will be below 10 lacs; the average will be around 25 lacs. Google, Apple, IBM, Uber, and Microsoft are the top recruiting companies. Still, our batch didn't get an internship. I am in my 2nd year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided everywhere in libraries, classrooms, labs, and rooms; places are also hygienic and expect rooms, and in Mess, there is AC everywhere. Food is okay, as I am South Indian. I feel it is a bit tough to adjust to mess food here. But food in the canteen is quite okay. For sports and games, there are many facilities to learn, and each sport has its own place to play, and there will be workshops conducted for some games. There are very good gym facilities for sports and games. There is a good scope in IIT Bombay for exploring sports and games.
Faculty: Professors here are really helpful and well qualified; they clarify doubts after the class. Very interactive; some are really good; they will teach from the heart. Everyone has there own unique style of teaching. But in IIT Bombay, most of the things we have to figure out on our own, which is a bit of a tough task, but because of this, we learn many things like searching for information from various places, interacting with others, and dealing with situations. And coming to semester exams, some are quite hard, some are really hard that average stays around 5 marks for a whole of 25 marks on paper, and getting zero in exams becomes quite obvious after attempting many exams. Pass percentage depends on course; for really tough courses, it will be around 5% only.
Other: As far as I know at the time of joining for CSE, IIT Bombay is the best, so I joined. The best thing I can think of is that we don't need to put too much effort into finding a job; if we do really well in these 4 years, we get a decent-salary job. Coming to events and festivals, we can find many good events happening in various fields. And Mood is one of Asia's largest festivals, at which we have a lot of fun.

No, you cannot get admission to DSY in B.Tech CSE at IIT Mumbai. IIT Mumbai does not offer B.Tech second-year admission based on engineering diploma courses. However, state engineering colleges and Private Universities offer 2nd year B.Tech admission.
