Other: Saroj institute of technology and management was the college where I found my career and did my engineering in biotechnology. Biotechnology is completely a new course and thus I wouldn’t suggest to opt for the course. If someone wants to do biotechnology engineering then it will be good to take admission in the top colleges. The placements provided by the college were good enough for the students who took courses other than biotechnology. Biotechnology students have to go for off-campus or for further studies and some went for government examinations preparations. The placement thus couldn’t be expected by the college. The college is situated on the sultanpur highway in the outskirts of Lucknow which isn’t an appropriate place for the establishment. The faculty is not up to the mark, there are a lot of fines which are paid by the students even for small ups and downs. The campus does have the laboratories for all its engineering branches but the laboratories aren’t maintained and thus the systems have degraded. There are just few shops outside campus which provide basic things but at a higher cost. There is no means of transport outside the campus, the only mean is to travel by public buses or by college bus which is again very expensive. Overall the rating of college is low and the placements too which is the final thing that students want. The infrastructure is not well as there is only one canteen in the whole campus for teachers as well as students.

Other: SITM has developed itself over the years and retains its prestigious position as the foremost of institution in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year 2001 to provide high quality professional education in the streams of Engineering and Pharmacy. Chairman of SITM and has strived to provide the best education to the students. All the courses that college offers are approved by AICTE, Accredited by N.B.A and affiliated to GBTU formerly by UPTU. The most important concern in engineering colleges is ragging. Despite the law prohibiting ragging, instance of ragging of first year students continue to be reported. But, SITM is anti-ragging campus where strict actions are taken for any nuisance. The college is facilitated with all the major needs of a student. It has got airy and spacious classrooms, library, computer centers, sports area, hostel, seminar room and auditorium. We have also got joint International Undergraduate Programmed. There is an agreement between SITM, Lucknow and University of Regina Saskatchewan, Canada. Its alumni occupies distinguished positions in almost all spheres of society. We can say that the journey has perhaps just begun. Students have been performing remarkable well. They have won prestigious scholarships, topped many competitive exams and have been consistently achieving success everywhere. The college environment was good and satisfying. It was a bit in the outskirts but there were basic amenities which were provided by the shops present outside thus students didn’t had much problem in getting the basic things for day to day usage.
