B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.6
The college has good infrastructure and is one of better choices among other colleges in Lucknow.
Placements: Almost all students are placed, with an average package of 5-7 LPA. Nearly all students secure internships, mostly in their 3rd or 4th year, either through IIT fellowship programs or good startups. The lowest package is 3 LPA, while the highest was 57 LPA in 2023. In 2024, Atlassian selected a student for a 27 LPA package. Companies like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, and even Google, Microsoft, and other Faang companies also visit for placements at times.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Our free campus Wi-Fi facility is quite fast, usually around 80-100 Mbps, and in labs, the speed surprisingly reaches up to 1 Gbps. The library has a great collection of books. The food in the canteen and mess is good and acceptable.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant to the current industry and is updated regularly. The semester exams range from moderate to difficult, with questions similar to those asked in GATE, helping students perform well. However, students can still score well by studying just a week or a few days before the exam.

It provided good placements in 2022-23.
Placements: Most of the students get placed. The average package ranges from 6-7 LPA. Almost all of the students can get internships. We are also provided with placement training classes from 2nd year itself for resume building and aptitude to DSA classes as well.
Infrastructure: The quality of the food at the canteen is good. It has free Wi-Fi, which is quite fast with around 80-200 Mbps speed during the day. Labs have almost 1 Gbps speed. The infrastructure could be upgraded a bit, in my opinion, but we do not really face many issues with facilities in the end.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are supportive. The course is actually relevant for a core CSE student. Semester exams are moderate to hard in difficulty. Questions are generally similar to the GATE exam so students hoping to go for GATE are quite satisfied because of it.

Vibrant campus with expanding opportunities.
Placements: The placement opportunities are moderate, with most companies offering packages comparable to other third-tier colleges. The majority of students secure placements with an average package ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. The highest package in B.Tech. has reached 24 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, IBM, Cognizant, and Sekisho, offering the highest package last year. Data-oriented roles like data scientist, and AI and ML engineer are offered, providing promising career prospects for students.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are among the best compared to all the colleges in Lucknow. Classrooms are spacious, equipped with whiteboards and have Wi-Fi access. Labs contain all the required tools and software. The hostel is safe and hygienic. With the current renovations, new facilities are being added. All washrooms are also being renovated. The mess food is decent. Medical facilities are available 24/7. A gym, indoor games, and outdoor sports facilities are available on campus.
Faculty: Most of the faculty is well-qualified and helpful towards the doubts and queries of students. The course curriculum is at par with the curriculum of government colleges. This is saying experience, as I appeared in the GATE exam and most of the topics are taught to us. The faculty that has taught me till now was the best teachers. However, the difficulty of the semester can't be judged. If we follow the course with faculty and study by the given notes, passing the exams is a cakewalk. The passing criteria is 18 marks out of 60 + internals.
Other: I chose to pursue B.Tech. CSE along with honors and specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. I wanted to pursue computer science for my higher education but due to covid, during my 11th and 12th and personal reasons, I couldn't move out of the city. More practical-oriented training and a few industry visits could help students shape their understanding of corporate. The college should organize hackathons and other activities to provide students with competitive exposure. The fests are enjoyable. The college is situated a little outside the core of the city and the campus surroundings are below par.

Review of Amity University, Lucknow.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. The reality is something else there are many terms and conditions for students who are allowed to sit in the placements. Different companies ask for different criteria some say they want only 8.5 CGPA someone 9 CGPA so the number of people who sit in the actual placement exams is very less. The package offered by companies is very low. The average placement package in college is not more than 4 - 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are pretty good. There is Wi-Fi available all across the campus which has good speed and good connectivity. The full campus is air conditioned and very comfortable for students and it is very space. The hostels now are getting renovated for the next college admission year they are now having TV and common lounge room they will have they ending machines and the over of quality of living and the infrastructure of hostel is also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. The subjects we are taught are being asked by companies in placement and further. The semester exams are not that easy to pass but you have to focus so number of bags are not very high but they are student get back sometimes very much. The behaviour of faculty is not that much appropriate. Some faculty some old faculty are becoming so irritated maybe that they have stop beaving professionally over all.
Other: I chose this course B.Teach CSE because I wanted a course that could provide me stability. Events and fest of Amity are not that great there is one cultural event called as aphorism which happens around March every year that is not so great it's usually a three-day festival in which different artists come to perform different talents but yes if we compare it to another call just fest is not that good. One other takes place in the college that is sports known as sangathan it is pretty good.

Review of Amity University, Lucknow.
Placements: Placements here are not good at all since 2-3 years. Earlier they used to be good. The average package ranges from 7 LPA - 8 LPA but now the average is just 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Companies don't even visit this campus. We have to go Noida to sit at placements and still students there get priority sitting at the placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are really good and comfortable. Currently, the whole infrastructure is improving so no complaints about infrastructure and the basement of every hostel. There are lounges to watch TV and you can eat food in cafes. The bathrooms are clean.
Faculty: Exams are not very tough, not very easy (sometimes it's too easy). Also, syllabus is not so broad, too easy to cover in 2 days maximum. Exams conducting is good but checking is not good at all. You get unnecessary backlogs without knowing why you get that, your exam can go really well still you get this.
Other: Our college has no value for money, trust me. There is no good college fest. Last year, we had Eclipse Nova. Imagine the crowd is so foolish here. Nobody is serious about themselves here.

Not a bad option if you are average at studies.
Placements: Disappointing experience at Amity University on-campus placements. It is overcrowded, misleading job expectations so don't rely solely on these placements. Students should build skills and network on LinkedIn for better opportunities. As the college can not place a mass chunk of people on higher salary.
Infrastructure: Recently the infrastructure of the college has been changed, I think recent changes are good and up to the standards of Amity University. Wi-Fi speed is good. Library of the college is vast and pretty diversified and all the recent changes are good.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are a mixture of some excellent at their subject but some are not. But engineering has vast subjects with very detailed subconcepts so, it is better to rely on self-study. Major or honor subjects are also offered which is quite diverse.
Other: College is well connected and has good green cover. Scholarships are dependent on percentage in class 12 (25% scholarship for 70%-87.99%, 50% scholarship for 88%-92.99, and 100% scholarship for 93%+).

Great social life with a disastrous practical life 2022.
Placements: The placement was done for prior batches, with students being placed at firms like HCL and TCS. The average package range is around 5 LPA, with the maximum package being 20 LPA. Some major roles were data analysis and development. Although there was very little help for preparation by the facilities.
Infrastructure: The facilities are helpful and kind towards students, although the infrastructure could be improved. Most of the things are old and broken. The Wi-Fi and labs are well-built, but labs lack equipment. The library is also decently built. With a little more improvement, it would be better.
Faculty: The facilities are helpful, as I mentioned, although the examination procedure is a bit of a mess. Most of the focus is shifted towards theoretical knowledge, not the practicality of the course. Semesters are moderate to crack, with a passing percentage being above 50. What I believe is that the topics being covered are very theory-related, with very little relevance to corporate work experience.
Other: A major reason I opted for this course was the high-end rise of tech in India. Moreover, I believe the course elaborately covers the topics very well. A major factor of improvement would definitely be the relevance of the topics to practicality. The campus is very nice, with a great interest in extracurricular activities.

It is one of the best colleges in Lucknow.
Placements: 40% of students get placed. The highest package is 40- 50 lacs. Mainly, some companies offer software engineer jobs. It is one of the best colleges for offering the best internships to the students from one of the largest and biggest companies for a better future.
Infrastructure: My classroom is the best, and I also prioritize labs and libraries. All types of Wi-Fi and other facilities can be provided in my college. Wi-Fi coverage and speed are absolutely good. The library is a very quiet place, and all important books are available to us.
Faculty: It is not much more difficult to pass the semester exam because one of the best faculty can teach us. Teachers are very highly qualified and also have great knowledge about our course. Its course curriculum is impressive.
Other: I chose this batch because, in that course, it gives a good package. Faculty is also one of the best. Also impressive events and activities are conducted. They also give scholarships to the students.

Hi, Amity university takes admission on the basis of board result (criteria is student should have more than 69% in PCM and English) and they take an interview and a written test, but that also because they have some rules to follow on paper.
