SEC is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy their college life.
Placements: SEC maintains a strong placement record. The overall placement rate is around 97 percent. Our college offers more companies and provides training as well. They guide us very well, even though we have zero knowledge in our domain.
Infrastructure: My department is equipped with well-organized and well-developed labs. The hostel provides decent rooms with minimum hygiene. We have a very big building with perfect infrastructure. Our classrooms are very neat and clean. The only thing I dislike about our college is the restroom. It is not nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and well-educated. The course outcome is very relevant to our domain. Faculty members are very friendly and engaging. They help us achieve our goals. Now, coming to the semester exams, they are easy as our college provides the question bank.

Do not choose this college. Placements are the worst.
Placements: To my knowledge, literally nobody gets placed in my department. The worst part is they even drop the IOT department after the 2024 batch, which is horrible. As I said, nobody recruits for IOT. Same answers for top roles offered.
Infrastructure: There is nothing like IOT-specific infrastructure, but there is still fast Wi-Fi support with some lab experiments for IOT. The hostel is decent. They offer non-veg food all seven days a week. Hostel rooms are also good with AC.
Faculty: The main reason my course is dropped is that there is no proper teaching faculty with expertise in this field. The courses are relevant but focus more on theory than practical experiments. The semesters are easy. Students can pass the exams without much studying by writing relevant content on the pages.
Other: It is not at all value for money for this course. Maybe that is the reason why the course is dropped.

Pretty good infrastructure and facilities hands on experience of concepts with lab experiments.
Placements: Most of the students are not placed in my course AIML. 10 percent are placed in the AI field which is also through outside college placement. They got placed means they will get some pretty good package with the highest package of 27LPA the lowest package offered is 6LPA and the average package is 15LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon and Qualcomm. 5 percent from my course. In a Qualcomm AI engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for my course are pretty good. Pretty fast Wi-Fi support super Wi-Fi in the library. Appropriate lab experiments of a working example of concepts. The food and mess are pretty good with non veg and veg available on all days.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty good and helpful. The quality of teaching is average with some faculty having extraordinary skills in certain fields. The course curriculum is pretty relevant and it also makes the students industry by providing separate modules for each programming course.
Other: I joined college. AI is everywhere. The popularity at that time I took AIML. I really appreciate my decision of choosing this course it gives me the ability to solve real world problems with AI integration. I really love building ML models and seeing if I create something that actually matters.

A story begins now in Saveetha Engineering College. I hope to go with a good.
Placements: 97 percent of students placed on the banners & flex shows. Companies like Qualcomm Amazon and Infosys for computer based courses. No idea about Internship right now. College looks like active placements cell senior faces a test of soft & coding skills every time.
Infrastructure: Well equipment labs are surrounded by noise protection glasses. The hostel has two one is new with full of AC rooms and the other is a mix of AC & Non-AC rooms. Hostel is clean and maintained by the crowd members. Mess with full AC dining with North people catering service. Medical & technical is ready for 24/7 service. Sports are well supported for hostel students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly on & off the campus. The curriculum is so fast and I can learn new things because it is flexible learning. Exams are conducted every 45 days which means a semester. 90 days is split into 45+45. One is called skill based courses, and another one is called foundation based courses.
Other: All about the TNEA counselling matters choose the college suddenly. Its good that AIML is a developing field now. Every class we should change the classrooms and commit to new learners. Clubs are active and link with seniors more easily. They provided the merit scholarship I entered with a 7.5 reservation quota under TNEA.

Saveetha Engineering College does admit students via a management quota, which involves paying a donation. However, students admitted purely on merit—through their admission test (SEAT)—do not need to pay any donation.
