Excellent college for study for our career growth.

Placements: Approximately 100% of students were placed. The highest package was 20 LPA - 25 LPA (offered by product-based or core healthcare companies like Zifo). The average package was 4.5 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest package was 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. Recruiting companies were Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Deloitte. Healthcare/Core recruiting companies were Zifo RnD and Sutherland. A few product-based companies in medtech and health analytics also participated. Around 60-70% of students received internships. Internships offered by Zifo R&D (core biomedical research), TCS, Infosys, and Wipro (IT roles), startups in biotech and healthtech sectors. Top roles offered were associate, analyst, developer, and trainee.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available across campus and inside departments. Well-equipped labs for biomedical instrumentation, electronics, and clinical engineering were available. There were spacious classrooms with projectors. A well-stocked library with access to online journals, research papers, and textbooks was available. Seminar halls with AC and research centers also support academic activities. Hostel facilities were good, with both AC and non-AC rooms available. Mess food quality was decent and hygienic, with both South and North Indian options. Canteen offered a variety of snacks and meals at reasonable prices. On-campus medical facilities include a clinic with 24X7 first aid support. The campus had a large playground, courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and indoor games.

Faculty: Teachers at the biomedical engineering department at Saveetha were generally helpful, qualified, and had good subject knowledge. Some faculty members were excellent in both theory and practical sessions, while a few lacked industry exposure. The course curriculum was mostly relevant and covered important topics, but hands-on industry training could be improved. Semester exams were moderately difficult, and manageable with regular study. The pass percentage was quite high, around 85-90%. Internal assessment, assignments, and attendance play a key role in final grading. Overall, the course provided a decent academic base but needed more industry-liked projects to make students truly industry-ready.

Other: I chose biomedical engineering because it blend healthcare and technology, offering opportunities to work in both medical and research fields. The best part of the course was its interdisciplinary nature, with subjects from biology electronics, and mechanics. Labs and project opportunities were useful. However, industry exposure, internships, and placement support in core biomedical roles need improvement. The campus was vibrant with regular events, fests, and extracurricular activities. The crowd was diverse and friendly. Connectivity to the city was decent, and the surroundings were calm. Scholarships were available for merit and financial need, and the overall campus life was active and supportive.

Very much happy because of the fests and clean campus.

Placements: 85% of students were placed. The highest package is 34 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are pharmaceuticals like SRL, Rexon, etc. Most of the 75% of students got internships, and top roles offered in my course are like genetic labs, forensic, etc.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, restaurants, many grounds, etc. We have good hostel rooms and clean bathrooms. We also have the hospital in the college, which is free for students, and also many other facilities. We have full air-conditioning rooms for students in the hostel.

Faculty: The teachers were very friendly with students and clarified doubts in a friendly manner. Our college makes the students industry-ready by giving them the knowledge to create and own the globe. The semester exams in this college are very strict and easy, but we should not attempt malpractice.

Other: I chose this course because it is the demanding course in the future. I wish to practice more in the lab. We celebrate our fest every once a year grandly by inviting chief guests as the important persons from the film industry and have weekly fests every week.

The college has a really good infrastructure. Studying and having fun at the same time.

Placements: Overall, a good placement scenario for students is mostly IT and CSE. If you really want to work in the IT sector, you can choose this college. Apart from the core companies for Biomed and M.Ed. elec, it's overall a good placement organizing college.

Infrastructure: With good and friendly infrastructure, you can take a leisurely walk all over the college; it will take time for you to remember where you were. So having an overview map is a must if you're a fresher. The same block will separate into four departments: CSE, admin, ECE, and EEE.

Faculty: It is easy to adapt to the curriculum once you understand it. Apart from other colleges, this one has a unique curriculum that is a little bit difficult for freshers to adapt to the open credit system. But it's the best curriculum at other colleges; they can make you choose subjects and staff for your semester.

It is an excellent college with beautiful environment.

Placements: Our college has the best students with creative ideas and friendly staff members. Seniors are very friendly and are very helpful. Students show their best talents. All the courses offered in Saveetha college are highly ranked. Top recruiting companies for our college are TCS, CTS, Capgemini, etc. They offered the lowest salary package of 8.5 LPA and the highest salary package of 16 LPA as a record.

Infrastructure: There is a super-fast Wi-Fi facility for us, and lots of journals are available online. All the classrooms are equipped with smart systems. We got unlimited books related to every department to refer. There are a medical hospital and college in surroundings of Saveetha Engineering College. So, for any emergency, treatment is provided immediately.

Faculty: Teachers here are well knowledgeable and very friendly. They are well qualified with good communication skills, and their teaching style is well understandable. They help us at any time. The course curriculum is well designed and is in such a way that it is completed very fast.

Other: Merit scholarships are provided here. Few events like sports, technical events and cultural events are organised in our college.

Absolutely a very good college and highly recommended

Placements: I am yet to be graduated but I can assure about the placements in my college as I have seen my seniors getting into very good companies with well and good yearly package. We get placed from 4 LPA to 12 LPA for biomedical engineering course. Job offers from foreign companies also available

Infrastructure: The classrooms, laboratories, libraries are highly technical and advanced. Students get motivated towards sports and other cultural activities. Hostel students too get a peaceful atmosphere with proper food and other facilities. We do have a very good ventilation and friendly atmosphere in college

Faculty: Faculties do help the students in their curriculum and students always get a high rank in exams. Our college follows the method of less is more which enables us to learn a lot of things. We have practical studies too which makes us to learn things related to our field.
