Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities for AI and ML students. Courses follow a credit system, where each subject has a set number of credits. Internship opportunities are also available, and many students get internships during their 3rd year.
Infrastructure: Our college has a modern and spacious campus spread across 120 acres with excellent infrastructure. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. Hostel facilities are provided separately for boys and girls, each building having 8 floors and accommodating around 2,300 students.
Faculty: Our college has a strong academic environment supported by qualified and experienced faculty members. College follows a credit-based curriculum that is regularly updated. Exams are conducted through continuous internal assessment and assignments. Some students feel some pressure and stress.

Saveetha helped me land in HCL.
Placements: I'm from the 2021-2025 batch of B.Tech AIML at Saveetha Engineering College. This year, placements are quite good, especially for CS and AIML branches. Around 80%-85% of students got placed. I got placed in HCL Technologies, and many of my friends got into companies like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, and a few product-based firms too. The highest package is around 10 LPA, while the average package is between 4 LPA and 5 LPA. Internships are also encouraged from the third year onwards, and many of us got internships through LinkedIn or college drives.
Infrastructure: The college has modern labs for AI/ML, a central library with digital access, and decent Wi-Fi across the campus. Classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with smart boards in most blocks. The hostel life is okay. Rooms are clean, but food in the mess can sometimes be repetitive. There's a canteen with better options and nearby stores for snacks. We also have medical support, gym, and sports grounds for football, volleyball, and indoor games.
Faculty: The faculty here is helpful and knowledgeable, especially in AIML. Some teachers are passionate and guide us for projects, hackathons, and research papers. The syllabus is up-to-date with AI, ML, python, data science, and deep learning topics. They also include value-added courses and online certification. Exams are moderate in difficulty. If you attend classes and study well, you can easily maintain a good CGPA. The pass percentage is quite high overall.

A good choice if you are really interested in learning new things, and a very good tech geek.
Placements: Qualcomm recruited one of our seniors.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is enabled all over the campus and the hostel. Vending machines are also available in both the hostel and the college. The mess is also equipped with air conditioning, and there is a visitors' lounge. Strict timings are followed, and Saveetha Hospital is beside the hostel, which makes it easy for emergency medical treatment. New facilities are also provided if requested regarding the topic of study and research.
Faculty: Every topic comes with a course outcome, which gives details on what we are going to see in it and why the topic is included in the syllabus. Every part of the syllabus is available through the college's LMS (Learning Management System) website, which contains all the details of the course. Activities are also submitted through the LMS. Flexi Learn gives the freedom to choose classes and faculty selection. The semester activity timetable is also followed strictly. Course modules give coding knowledge.
Other: Everything is accessible if the student has enough interest in the field, whether it is related to the topic of study or the usage of materials.

Excellent placements but average faculty members.
Placements: In our college, 70% of students got placed. The highest package is 14 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Some companies come to our college which are Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, and Zoho. In our course, they offer data analyst, web developer, software tester, and robotics roles.
Infrastructure: In classrooms, we have full AC and fans. Benches have charging points and classrooms are equipped with projectors and black and whiteboards. In hostel, we have medical box at any time. There are full security and fingerprint biometrics. Canteen food taste is very nice and in canteen also we have AC.
Faculty: We have a lot of faculty members. Some of them teach very well and they give good internal marks to the students and they are very friendly. Course curriculum is always favorable to the students and they give some extra time for preparations. There is no difficulty in exams because, from the beginning of the semester, faculty members teach everything like analytical and algorithms and some theory questions.
Other: I chose this course because present technology is going very fast and in the future AI and ML will be very important and have more jobs in the future. I think they have to give or spend some extra time in class then we can easily understand the course. There are a lot of events conducted in our college which are Pongal and Holi celebrations, Simam event, and freshers day.

Placements are a bit low, but everything else in our college is good.
Placements: Placements in our college are not very good. Some students try for off-campus opportunities after completing their course. Some go to other states for higher studies. Only a few companies visit our college, and even they select only a few students based on communication skills and performance.
Infrastructure: Our department has basic facilities, like Wi-Fi, which is available across the campus. Labs are equipped with the necessary systems and computer labs. The hostel facilities are average, so we take rooms outside and cook for ourselves. We also have grounds and courts for sports.
Faculty: Our college faculty are helpful and qualified. They have good subject knowledge in their teaching subjects. The course curriculum is relevant. Some subjects are outdated and need to be updated according to the current industry. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is around 70-80%.
