I am satisfied with this college, but not satisfied with the hostel staff.
Placements: Placements are good in our college. Our department students got good placements in good companies. Placements are guaranteed if you are engaged in your course in the final year. Some top IT and core companies visit our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connections are available in the hostel and college. Classrooms are neat and good. Our college has a huge ground for sports. The food served in the hostel is a bit good but adjustable. The hostel has lift facilities and washing machines. The hostel rules are not good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very well-qualified. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult. You need to study from the start to pass exams. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. This course is unique. It has a good scope in India and abroad countries. It provides an in-depth explanation of instrumentation. Our college should improve our labs.

Our college provides a good education and great placement support.
Placements: More than 80% of students are placed in our batch. The placement team is excellent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are good. We have a mess, libraries, unlimited internet support, and many labs with the latest computers and technology. Food items are always available in the canteens.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed in such a way that it accommodates our choices and is updated to the current industry standards. The course is practical-oriented. The outcome of the courses is highly application-oriented, and career guidance is also given by faculty members.
Other: The choice-based credit system helps students improve in various fields and disciplines in which they are interested.

The placements in 2022 are good, and the infrastructure and facilities are really good.
Placements: SEC is one of the best engineering colleges in Tamilnadu. But it is quite expensive. It is affiliated with Anna University and is an autonomous college. I chose EIE. EIE department of 2022 batch got 100% placements. Accenture, TCS, Amazon, and Infosys are some of the top recruiting companies in my college.
Infrastructure: The college has technologically advanced laboratories, a huge library (Sail library), air-conditioned classrooms, and Wi-Fi enabled campus. The quality of hostel food is average. But the canteen is good. There is a stationary store inside the campus. Saveetha hospital is present inside the campus.
Faculty: I am quite dissatisfied with some of the faculty members. Most of the faculty members are well qualified and helpful, but not everyone. The course curriculum is framed effectively so that every student gets the knowledge required for their particular course. SEC focuses on placement training and programming languages.

Good infrastructure with high rate of placements.
Placements: Top companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini are the main placement sources of our college. About 95% of students are placed in their dream company. Students are recruited for the role of software engineers, design engineer in core companies with good salary package.
Infrastructure: College with the best infrastructure, spacious and perfectly ventilated classrooms, plastic-free campus and free Wi-Fi on the college campus. The hostel is also provided with sufficient rooms for all the required students from other States and places. Library with more source for books and e-library.
Faculty: Faculty members are doing their best to support us to achieve the placements. We learn maximum about our related course here. Exams and tests are very frequently conducted to make sure that students are thorough with their syllabus. Faculty members help in all the possible ways to make students life successful.

Infrastructure is good but staff behaviour is bad specially EIE department.
Placements: 1.25% of students placed according to my calculation. 2. 2 lak per annum is the average salary offered. 3. Capg, now Accenture is also taking many students (2020). 4. Job roles in IT field offered. 5. You can't even survive there if you don't have money to pay fee. I saw many students discontinued because of this and the staffs (not all) in my department I am saying won't see the value of the students life. My favorite staff is also there like in other departments. Some of them taught 4 or 5 subjects for us. 6. Internships have to be searched on own or else have to pay more money for that course.
Infrastructure: 1. Infrastructure is fabulous and I have to agree with this Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library everything is good in our college. 2. Hostel facility is good. When you come to sports our staff is good at giving coaching. I am also a sports player. Canteen is also good that one advantage is even can use our ID card for buying food in canteen. Its like a recharge type system so it's useful for the students.
Faculty: 1. In my department (ie) staffs are to the worst because of our HOD they were behaved very rude to us. I am a passed out student and placed in college placements. But I don't like my department not even 1% its only because of HOD when ever she speaks, only bad words will come.
Other: I seriously liked my course very much. The best thing it's a rare course so you will get core jobs easily. Little implement of practical knowledge. Campus is too good and fest events everything is fine.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The college will always put lot of effort to bring lot of companies and packages are good. My senior batch placed candidates were less and this year placements are high and the companies like IBM, HCl, TCS, Justdial and Cognizant visited. One of my friend was given a spot offer and asked to join in a month.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is different from all other colleges and our building is in circular shape and good infrastructure than any other college. We have our own hospital. The college always encourage students to participate in games. The classes are equipped with smart boards and the food is good.
Faculty: The teachers are always helpful and will clear your doubts whenever you need and the faculty are always friendly and they take smart boards methods to teach if we want any practical knowledge via videos and demos. Yes, we have visited a few companies and they are related to courses and only thirty students per faculty.

We have smart boards, but not smart organisation.
Placements: The placements filtration was on the basis of CGPA, and no standing arrears. Few good companies like IBM took off the creamy layers. Then comes the tech support companies. On average, 3 out of 10 students get placed. The roles were majorly back end of software, tech support, service desk, and admins. We pay 60,000 for placement training, which they use to bring in these companies above mentioned.
Infrastructure: The college has an interesting building structure. Few classrooms are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is provided up to 30mbps with separate ids. There is a huge library space. Labs are well maintained with equipment. In total, we have 3 canteens including medical canteens. Affordable food rates. Hostels are well built. As it is 13 floors, it is slight risky.
Faculty: The course was established in 2011, we were the second batch to do EIE. They managed to bring in few ECE staffs to match the volume. The teaching quality is nothing remarkable, materials would be provided, and that repeats in exams. No industry exposure. No new teaching methods were implemented even though we had smartboards.
Other: The cultural activities happen once a year, technical festival, Drestein happens for 3 days a year with all departments. Interested people in sports have a platform here.
