Students are supposed to maintain minimum cgpa to get placed by the university. Reputed companies hire students from our university. In our course students are supposed to elect corporate basket or constitution basket as an elective in the 3rd year of the course. Students who have chosen Corporate basket will have more opportunities in this context.

Really Good infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Only 2% of the total number of students were placed from the final-year batch last semester. The highest package was around 7 lacs, with three Tier 1 firms coming to recruit. It's just meh. You can't expect too much from this university as it is the school of law. Since it is not an NLU, it will have its own problems.
Infrastructure: The hostel is nice. Very nice, in fact. There is a gym room, and all the major facilities are available. The hostel wardens are sometimes bad and sometimes good, depending on the warden you get. There are a lot of rules, though, like you can't wear shorts on campus. Yes, that is an actual rule.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing. Everyone is from good universities and has done an LL.M. The course is relevant and does indeed make the students industry-ready. The exams are difficult to pass. Most teachers often don't give out marks just to pass. So, yeah, it is nice but tough.

Presidency University- A good option or not?
Placements: I got to know about Presidency University via advertisement. I took admission in the year 2019 for the B.A. LL.B. course. A total of 210 students were there in my batch, out of which only 5 got placed via the placement drive. No help was provided to the students with regards to placement. The college isn't concerned about the students' placement. No top companies came for placement in the School of Law.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is still to be completed. Basic amenities weren't available for a long time until recently. The college does not have an in-campus hostel; you have to stay outside. The hostel facilities were average, in my opinion, as I only used them in my the first year. There is no opportunity for sports, as the college is least interested in providing opportunities.
Faculty: The teachers are the only shining spot about the university. They are qualified and impart knowledge. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are okay, but the backlog system is completely money-looting.
Other: I chose the course because I had a niche for law. The college needs to work on a lot of things, such as placement, infrastructure, systematic processes, and internship opportunities, etc.

Presidency University out-stands other private colleges and universities in Bangalore.
Placements: A lot from other departments were placed compared to the department of law. The minimum starting package is 15,000 in the department of law. As I am in my 3rd year, I am unable to exactly mention the placement criteria. As heard from other seniors, it was mentioned that law placements are fewer compared to other courses.
Infrastructure: At first, the college did not provide lifts, and we had our classes on the fifth floor. And due to that, it was difficult for us to climb five floors due to the inadequate number of lifts. Now lifts are provided, and it is easy for us to access. The college has a video space for the library containing both curriculum and non-curriculum related books.
Faculty: The teachers are very much qualified and gentle towards us, except for a few. The marking system should be improved and should be a little lenient. Compared to other courses, law faculty for our department does not provide deserving marks. The semesters are a little tiring sometimes.
Other: I chose this course because law interests me.
