Yes, ULSAT is an online exam that is conducted in computer-based Test mode (CBT mode) from their home. It means candidates can take the examination from the comfort of their home or current location because the exam is online-proctored. To take the ULSAT, candidates will have to book a slot. This exam slot can be booked immediately after filling out the SLAT application form. They need to login to the official login portal of UPES, enter their registration ID and password, select the exam date and time, and then submit these details.

Every year, the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) conducts ULSAT in multiple phases. 

The application fee for ULSAT is INR 1,750. The application fee has to be paid at the time of filling out the ULSAT application form. It can only be paid online by using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The ULSAT application fee is the same for all law courses. Once candidates submit the application fee, it will not be refunded. Thus, the ULSAT application fee is non-refundable and only needs to be paid when candidates want to appear in the ULSAT entrance exam.

ULSAT 2025 applications are available in different phases from February to December 2025. To prepare for the ULSAT Language Comprehesion section, candidates can use the following tips: 

• Make a strategy for daily English learning 
• It would be advised to gather new English words and understand their meaning by making notes on a regular basis 
• Prepare the concept of the topics and then practice questions every day
• Improve the comprehension and speed by reading for at least an hour a day  on a regular basis 
• Take online mock test on a daily basis as well as, weekly basis to improve speed and accuracy 

The slot booking for ULSAT can be done while filling out the exam application form at upes.ac.in. 
To book the test slot, candidates need to select the test date and then time on which they want to take the test on the selected date. ULSAT will be conducted online in home-based proctored mode.

The ULSAT admit card mentions the following details:

• Candidate's name
• Candidate's roll number
• Test date
• Test time
• Candidate's photograph
• Candidate's signature

On the ULSAT exam day, you must keep the following documents along with your admit card:

• A valid government-issued photo ID card (such as Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, or voter ID card)
• The photo ID card and photographs must be clear and legible. The photo ID card must also be valid on the exam day.
• You are not allowed to keep items, such as mobile phones, calculators, or watches near the place where you are taking the exam in home-based proctored mode. If you are caught with any of these items, you will be disqualified from the exam.

ULSAT 2025 applications for LLM are available in different phases from Fenruary to December 2025. The ULSAT 2025 Application for the 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses is open online at upes.ac.in/admission-alerts. ULSAT 2025 exam will be conducted in an online mode. Candidates who meet the course specific eligibility criteria can apply for the test for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. 

Applicants can edit the application form at their UPES application portal through their user ID & password until the last date of the application process. To login to the portal, applicants will have to visit the official website of UPES, upes.ac.in. Then, they need to click on the Apply Now button. In the next step, candidates will have to select the Login option and login using their registered email address and password. After logging in, they will be able to edit their applications.

To show your ULSAT admit card in a Computer-Based Proctored (CBP) mode exam, you will need to upload a copy of it to the test platform before you begin the exam. The specific steps for doing this may vary depending on the test platform that is being used, but they will generally be as follows:

• Log in to the test platform and select the exam that you are scheduled to take.
• Click on the "Upload Admit Card" button.
• Select the file containing your ULSAT admit card and click on the "Upload" button.
• Your admit card will be uploaded to the test platform and will be available to your proctor for review.
• Once your admit card has been uploaded, you will need to wait for your proctor to verify your identity. This process may take a few minutes.
• Once your identity has been verified, you will be able to begin the exam.
