What is ULSAT?
ULSAT stands for the University of Petroleum and Energy Law School Admission Test. This test is being conducted for admission in 3 years LLB, 5 years LLB (BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB), LLB, and LLM courses offered by the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies. The entrance exam is held in CBT mode. The exam contains MCQ-type questions. The exam pattern for LLM admission differs from the exam pattern for the rest of the Law courses. The candidates who qualify in ULSAT have to attend Group discussions and interviews to finally qualify for admission.
The ULSAT LLB exam is of 2 hours duration. Before filling out the application form, the candidate needs to ensure that they meet the ULSAT 2025 eligibility criteria for their respective programme. UPES ULSAT application form 2025 is available on the official website of the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. While applying candidates are required to provide their mode of admission out of the following:
