School of Open Learning, University of Delhi commonly known as DU SOL/ SOL DU offers UG and PG courses through fourteen departments for distance learning. The courses offered are in the Arts, Commerce, and Management streams in affiliation with Delhi University. For DU SOL admission, students need to visit website of DU SOL i.e., sol.du.ac.in to apply for courses you are interested in. Upload all scanned copies of the documents (legible/clear). To complete the SOL DU admission process, students must pay the required application fee. The DU SOL admission process is as below:
Application Process 2026
The applicationprocess is online. To register, students have to provide mail ID, phone number, and other contact information. Basic personal and academic data has to be provided during application.
DU SOL Criteria of Selection
DU SOL shortlists students based on academic merit in most cases. However, for PG courses, appearing for the CUET exam is also needed. The college admits students who satisfy the minimum educational qualifications.

DU SOL Fees Refund Policy
The DU SOL fee refund policy is valid for students who withdraw their admission within a stipulated timeline. The university will refund the entire amount to candidates who withdraw their names till the last admission date of regular admission at Delhi University. Students will receive their total fee after a deduction of INR 500 as per the administrative charges.

Yes, MBA is in the new launched courses list of SOL DU. The PG course is of two-year duration and a maximum of four-year. Admission to the course is based on the candidates aggregate in the bachelor’s degree or the last qualifying examination. It is a distance MBA course. The open school has its study centre at North campus and in Moti Bagh. Candidates can reach out to the admission office for more details regarding the course.
SOL MBA eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have 50% aggregate in graduation from any recognised university. Candidates must provide valid proofs of eligibility fulfilment such as qualifying certificate or marksheet. In addition to this, candidates must also have valid CUET PG scores.
DU SOL MBA fee is INR 20,000. The fee has to be paid timely. The application fee for MBA is INR 500 for unreserved/ OBC and INR 300 for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
DU SOL MA Admission 2026
At the PG level, Delhi University, School of Open Learning offers a two-year MA programme. The maximum duration for course completion is four years. SOL MA course is offered across four specialisations. The open university offers admission to this programme on both merit and entrance basis. 50% seats of the total are filled by direct admission with the students of Delhi University only. The remaining 50% of the seats are filled through the entrance examination and Interview/Group Discussion with students who are outside Delhi University.

School of Open Learning admission to this course is merit-based only for the students of Delhi University. However, students studying outside DU need to appear for an entrance test conducted by Delhi University. For SOL MA admission, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement set by SOL. School of Open Learning 50% of seats will be filled by direct admission (based on the merit of graduation scores) and the remaining 50% will be filled on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance test and personal interview, conducted by SOL.

Yes, migration is possible from SOL DU to a regular college. The student must have the1st year result that covers (1st and 2nd sems) both declared results before the deadline for migration.
Visit the college you wish to migrate to and meet the principal. Get a stamped NOC with principal's signature. Submit it a t the SOL Office (North Campus). SOL also provides a stamp on the NOC, which is to be submitted in the respective college. After all the documentation, pay the 3rd Sem fee at the college for a successful migration.
