No, the CUET score is not mandatory for admission to the School of Open Learning, the University of Delhi undergraduate and postgraduate courses. DU SOL admission to UG courses is based on candidates' performance in their Class 12 examination. For postgraduate courses, 50% of the total intake will be filled by direct admission of the students of the University of Delhi. Rest 50% of the seats will be filled through entrance examination and interview/ group discussion if any. 

SOL DU offers UG & PG courses in various streams of Arts, Commerce, and Management. The university offers direct admission to candidates based on their merit of last qualifying exams of previous education. DU SOL UG eligibility criteria 2025 requires students to complete the last qualifying exam as admissions are merit-based only. Admissions begins with fulfilling the eligibility criteria for respective undergraduate courses, which is based on the merit of Class 12 marks. DU SOL has adopted the curriculum framework for UG courses under the National Education Policy (NEP). Candidates can register for BBA, BCom, BA, BMS courses, etc. 

The duration of the BA programme is three-years. Candidates have to pass all the semester examinations within the course duration to get awarded with the degree. It is a distance/ correspondence course. Hence, candidates have to register each time to appear for the examinations.

Yes, as it is an Open School and there is no limit for seat intake, you can certainly get direct admission in DU SOL. The college offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate level, admissions to which are entirely merit-based. A set of documents has to be submitted during the SOL DU admission. An application is treated as incomplete if the required documents are not attached to it. Further, the documents required during the process are:

Yes, DU SOL offers an MA programme for a minimum of two and a maximum of four years duration at the postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of SOL (sol.du.ac.in) to apply for the MA course. Admission to the course is merit-based. Thus, the candidate's score in the last qualifying examination are considered for selection. Moreover, the open learning school offer MA in four specialisations.

DU SOL provides various UG & PG courses via distance learning. The fee for all courses may vary as per the duration and type of course one chooses. School of Open Learning offers financial assistance and fee concessions to help needy students. Students, who have studied in a government school and whose family income from all sources is below INR 2.5 LPA subject to submission of income certificate are eligible to avail of the fee concession scheme. Apart from this, a student who has studied neither in a government school nor he/she belongs to SC/ST category but his/her family income from all sources is below INR 2.5 LPA, is also eligible to apply. 

Yes, SOL offer three-year Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme. For admission to this UG course, candidates' performance in Class 12 is taken into consideration.
