DU SOL MCom Highlights 2025
School of Open Learning, University of Delhi or SOL DU also offers an MCom course for a minimum of two and a maximum of four years duration. Admission is both merit and entrance-based depending upon the availability of seats. For the course, 50% seats of the total are filled by direct admission with the students of Delhi University only. The remaining 50% of the seats for the DU SOL MCom course are filled through the entrance examination and Interview/Group Discussion with students who are outside Delhi University. Yes, the School of Open Learning offers a MCom course at the postgraduate level. The post-graduate programme offered by SOL has a minimum duration of two years and a maximum duration of 4 years for completing the course. The SOL MCom admission process for the academic year 2022 is now closed. DU SOL admission 2023 is expected to open in the month of December for the PG courses.
DU SOL admission to the MCom course is both merit and entrance based. Candidates who are already a part of Delhi University are eligible to get admission directly on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying examination. For students outside DU, admission will be done on the basis of valid scores in the entrance test and personal interview, conducted by the institute.

DU SOL MCom Admission Dates 2025
DU SOL MCom course is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC). Students seeking admission to this programme need not to register separately, as the SOL option is by default in the application form of DU. MCom admission to the School of Open Learning is merit-based for the students of Delhi University. However, students studying outside DU need to appear for an entrance test. Apart from the below-mentioned course fee, an additional fee of INR 960 will be charged to the students who got promoted to the second and fourth semesters of the programme as a semester examination fee. For SOL MCom admission, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement as mentioned below:

DU SOL MCom Application Process 2025
For admission to SOL Postgraduate programmes, candidates need to register online on the PG admission web portal of the University of Delhi. The DU PG application process is conducted in online mode only. Follow the steps given below to fill up the SOL application form:
Step 1: Register on the official website and click on 'New User Registration'.
Step 2: Under the 'Login details' section, applicants must fill in all the required details.
Step 3: On successful submission of the required details, a confirmation link is generated and sent to the official email address.
Step 4: Click on the link to confirm your registration.
Step 5: Log in with the new username (e-mail ID) and a password provided in the email.
