Good placements in 2023, friendly faculties and good facilities. Dissatisfied by college events.

Placements: The placement option may vary depending on the student's academic performance and industry demand. But the college usually has 80–100%. The average salary package also depends on performance but the minimum is 7 lacs per year. Top recruiting companies are TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: The campus is a very small area but is beautiful and maintained neatly. Hostel facilities are good and there are no restrictions, although the food is bad at times. SCMS provides a good library and labs with Wi-Fi and the classroom contains smartboards and armchairs.

Faculty: The teachers at SCMS are very friendly and qualified. They are also well experienced and have very good teaching quality. Semester exams for BCA are on time, while IMCA has always been delayed from MGU. The pass percentage is 35%. The teachers are always available for doubt clearance. The MGU syllabus is easy compared to others. In BCA, they teach C, C++, and Java along with electives and add-on courses.

Other: BCA in SSTM is a very good course and is flexible with add-on courses and electives. Events are less compared to other colleges, but if you want to study hard, SSTM is the best. The college canteen is a little poor .

Studies is all that you looking for, This is it.

Placements: Placements are better than a lot of the similar colleges. Management takes the initiative to welcome good companies to the campus. There are a lot of students who got placed with an average package of INR 2 LPA and all. The placement cell in the college is helpful for the students.

Infrastructure: Basic infrastructure is pretty good. There are various libraries, canteen, basketball court. AC classrooms are available for postgraduate students. Since I am a computer Science student, the computer lab is decent it has centralized AC and all. All together, infrastructure-wise, SSTM is pretty good. The girls hostel is situated inside of the college campus, and it has received decent reviews. The boys hostel is 1.4 km away from the campus, and it got average review from students.

Faculty: The curriculum is basic, there is nothing special around it. The syllabus is decided by the MG university in Kottayam. Its not too special but it covers all the basics that we need as a beginner. The Faculty is actually very good, they are a bit strict and all, but they seem very friendly and available for students, mostly all the time. Overall, the curriculum and faculty members are good.

Other: There is no events and all which are just for fun. There is one but they won't allow DJ party or anything. So, the campus life at SCMS is not that colorful. If you are not looking for that, SCMS might be the right choice.

Good placements but average infrastructure .

Placements: Above 20% students were placed so far. The lowest - 14k/month the highest - 60k/month. IBM, Cognizant, Reliance, Asian Paints, Amazon. 80% got internship in local companies. Data Analyst, AI specialist, Blockchain Analyst, Software engineer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available, Labs are decent, classrooms are boring, library is good. Hostel facilities are not good according to what my friends told me because the warden is strict and don't allow you to go out at night and the food is not very reliable because several times they suffered food poisoning. Medical facilities like sick room is available Sports and games are some what available.

Faculty: Teachers are Helpful and qualified and quality is also good. Yes it would make the students industry ready. The pass percentage is 50% including the lab exams. in written exams the pass marks are 33 out of 75. the exams are some what difficult. .

Other: I chose this course because I thought that doing both Masters and degree will be beneficial but later understood that i am not interested in staying in this country. The course follows old technology and older syllabus and now the technology has changed so it must delete old syllabus and should include more updated syllabus. There are no extra curricular activity in the campus. No college vibe.

Overall, the college is very popular and good for studying purpose.

Placements: I don't know about the placements in our college. I did not see any placements interviews conducted in our college. My seniors have not placed in placement recruitment, because my seniors were not completed their course. In this college, there is a lack of placements.

Infrastructure: In our college, there are more computer labs provided. Some computers are not working properly, and it will not correctly be repaired. The computer labs are fully centralised with an air-conditioned room. There are a good and large libraries. The medical facilities are available on this college. There is a one hour time to conduct sports and games also. The canteen provides the tasty foods in this college. The separate boys and girls hostels are available in this college.

Faculty: The faculty members are good and useful. The courses are available on this college. The teachers are very helpful for our studies. The good teaching quality is provided in SCMS. The teachers used to take a class with the help of projectors. So, it is very clearly understood that how teachers will take the class.

Other: In this college, there are no many events and fests are conducted. There is no campus crowd. There are extracurricular activities, and scholarships are provided.

The college has excellent infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are great on the campus, at least top 21 companies have come for the placement. MCA and DDMCA have the placement cell, which is visited by the topmost MNCs in search of excellent candidates. Mostly 90% of the crowd get placed, as they have the in-depth knowledge about the core.

Infrastructure: The whole campus is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility. There are fully equipped labs for at least 130 people. The library has all the latest books, which is useful for the students. The students are given internet session, where they can research on a specific topic. The food in the canteen is good and fresh. The students can always play on the sports ground, which is too huge. PDP sessions are regularly conducted, which helps the students with their personal development.

Faculty: The faculty members are encouraged the students and always share knowledge out of the syllabus. The teachers are enthusiastic, who always finds time for solving every doubt of the students. The teachers are friendly, and the students can approach their faculty members anytime between 8 am to 6 pm with their concerned problem.

Other: The fests and events are regularly conducted. Shikha is the famous fest among the students all around south India as well as north. The campus is surrounded by beautiful trees and breathtaking view of the college, which has a river flowing behind the college building.

More of a study-oriented college with less fun.

Placements: The placements are actually good here. Quite reputed companies visit the campus for placements. But sometimes, due to the university's delayed results, some companies do not take students. But mostly, it depends is upon the students. Their ability to use their skills is what matters the most.

Infrastructure: There are very good and well-maintained computer labs with a team of lab assistants who are always available. There is a very good two-storeyed library with a huge collection. But, the college lacks extracurricular activities like arts and sports. They are trying to improve it, but still, it's less compared to other colleges. The food available there is of average quality, not very tasty but not so bad either. Hostel rooms are in good condition.

Faculty: The faculty team is very good. They are very good helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. They use powerpoint presentations and videos to help students understand better. Apart from that, all are very approachable.

Other: There aren't many fun events or fests happening in the college. The number of extracurricular activities is very less compared to other colleges which are very bad because students need not just studies as well as these extracurricular activities and sports equally. So, you do not get the typical college life here.
