Our college has average faculty members.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements for psychology students. It provides placements for other courses. Our college does not provide internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. The library has limited books. Our canteen is good. Many food options are not available in our college. There is no hostel in our college. There are many hostels at Calcutta University. Students can use lift facilities. There is a small store in our college where basic stationery things are available. A gym is available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are average. They teach in the Bengal language which can be a lot challenging for outstation students to understand. They provide us with regular notes. The difficulty level of exams is increasing with each passing semester.
Other: Our college provides us with exposure. Our college conducts only a few events, fests, and workshops. It organises extracurricular activities. Scholarships are available for students belonging to West Bengal and not for outstation students. Our college should provide internships and placements for all departments.

Satisfied with the quality of knowledge provided.
Placements: The placement scenario of our college is good. Many companies like Indigo Airlines visit our campus for placements. Profiles offered are not much good as you won't be able to apply your knowledge (related to course) in the respective job. But it's good for beginning your career. Overall, the college has decent placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is decent, but it can be better. Being one of the oldest colleges, the academic building is not that good. The campus has only one block with several classrooms, and they are well-maintained. The management is trying to renovate the college to make it better.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and the teaching methods they deploy are out of the box. They have in-depth knowledge about the subject and make sure we understand everything. They try to make us understand the concept so that our basic knowledge would be good. They provide us with materials to refer and are always there to guide us.

Good faculty, an average campus, and good education facilities.
Placements: Placements were not given for our department. However, companies like TCS interviewed students from other departments for placement in their company. Internships were taken by students outside their college in our department. The course structure helped students gain detailed knowledge in the field.
Infrastructure: The Department of Psychology in our college had a lab where we did all our practicals. It also had different labs for other practical subjects. We had two classrooms and a separate lab in total for the depth of psychology. Our college also had a library where we could issue books.
Faculty: Teachers of our department were helpful, friendly, and very good at their jobs. They acted as our mentors, friends, and guides whenever needed. They were all highly skilled and efficient in their fields. The course structure of our college was very lengthy, which in turn helped us gain in-depth knowledge in our field. The semester exams in our college included one internal examination and one end-semester examination, which had both theory and practical papers.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a certified clinical psychologist. This course gave me insightful knowledge of the how and why of behavior. The concept of positive psychology, and I also learned about various counseling methods and mental disorders. One thing I wished to improve about my course would be the addition of more tests based on anxiety and personality.

Absolutely satisfied with the Psychology department, morning section.
Placements: I have no idea about placement because I was in the psychology department and we have to pursue M.A. or M.Sc. after completing our graduation with Honours, so we didn't need to know about the placement. Moreover, our teachers never mentioned anything about placement or internship. But I heard that average placements were provided for the commerce departments.
Infrastructure: The College campus was not so big. The laboratory for the psychology department was way too small with limited equipment. The students had to share those, which was problematic. Half of the instruments didn't work. The library was big and good. Books were available. Wi-Fi was also available. The classroom was fair enough. I don't know about the hostel as I never needed one. The food in the canteen was good and affordable. Sports and games were also conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. They are an inspiration. No doubt with their capability and knowledge. They are gems. They have taught us well and were very responsible with the syllabus, routine, assignments and exams. We are glad to have them. They also made us do presentations and seminars were held which was very productive for our education.
Other: I took psychology because I'm very much interested to know and learn about the human brain and behaviour. And I'm looking forward to pursuing an academic career in psychology.
