Amity University satisfied me. Overall kind of good experience and one of my best decisions.
Placements: Our college provides the best placement opportunities. Every year our college organises placements. But one condition is there, you have to score more than 60% to get placements. The salary package offered to every student is around 4 LPA to 7 LPA, for psychology NGO, and hospital arrange placements.
Infrastructure: In this college, the infrastructure quality is very good. They use the best quality products. We have first Wi-Fi, classrooms, labs, a library, a garden, a gym, drinking water machine, canteen, etc. Hostel facilities are good, and we have departmental facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and the curriculum is also very relevant according to today's time. I would say that the teaching quality is best. They have very good behaviour and understanding too. They are very knowledgeable and helpful to students. We have departmental faculty members.
Other: I did my B.A. in Psychology, and I have lots of interest in that subject, which is why I chose it. I love the subject, and I learned a lot from college. This college is good and well-maintained. We celebrate our fest, Amiphoria. We also celebrate Mahalaya, Christmas, freshers, etc.

A very renowned and good college, best in infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The highest - 32.51 lac per annum, the lowest - 4 lac per annum, average - 12 lac per annum. Top roles offered are counseling psychologists, research psychologists, educational psychologists, and forensic psychologists. Around 50% of students get internships in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Amity University Kolkata is excellent. The classrooms, labs, and libraries are well-kept, spacious, and equipped with proper equipment. The canteen food is genuinely not that great but has good hygiene overall. There are also courts for games, medical facilities, printing facilities, ATMs, and a pool.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, always free to help, and have adequate knowledge. The teaching quality is also very good, and interactions outside of studies are also undertaken. Semester exam difficulty is moderate and depends on students' efforts in their studies. The passing mark is 35 and above.

Amity Kolkata, a good option for psychology?
Placements: Amity doesn't really provide the kind of placement they claim to provide, and especially for the course I have done, which is Psychology, there are no placements provided at all. In the Bachelor's course, they don't have any placement options to even sit for, and that's mostly because Psychology jobs require at least a Master's degree.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at Amity are amazing; they are well air-conditioned with whiteboards as well as cardboard. The library at Amity is average. There are not a lot of books available, but it’s okay. The food quality is good, and hostel facilities are fairly fine, but they’re very strict and expensive. Amity does have a sports club, and there are a lot of sports and games played there.
Faculty: The teachers here are Ph.D. holders or Ph.D. scholar students. They are moderately helpful and well-qualified but are only concerned about their syllabus. The course is relevant but not industry-ready because it is very theoretical and there is very little practical exposure provided. The exams at Amity are easy; you can pass if you fill your paper with even 2 or 3 proper answers because Amity follows a percentile system. So, it’s not very difficult to score.
Other: I chose this course because, in Kolkata, we don’t have a lot of good options for psychology, and other courses are fairly fine. They generally provide what they claim to provide, and it is a theoretical-based course, so that’s about it. There is an annual fest, Amiphoria, and there is an annual sports event, Sangathan. The crowd, infrastructure, and extracurricular activities at Amity are good. I would like to improve this course by adding more hands-on experience. We do have an internship that is provided and it is compulsory, but other than that internship, which lasts about six weeks to 2 months, there is no other practical exposure given.

Our college has a good infrastructure and helpful faculty members.
Placements: Students from our course got placed in various reputed institutions like NIBS, Kolkata, Apollo Hospital, etc. Many have secured the positions of psychologists and researchers. We have famous alumni. Some of them have agreed to teach in the same institution.
Infrastructure: We have air-conditioned classrooms and a very informative library. We also have more than one canteen. We have a sports building as well. The college emphasizes not only academics but also extracurricular activities. The food in the canteen is healthy, and the environment of our campus is refreshing.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The teaching scheme is job-oriented. The course makes us industry-ready. The pass percentage is high. We are made to learn teamwork and cooperation. Class projects are given for us to gain in-depth knowledge of the course.
Other: There are a lot of activities held on campus. The psychology department has its fests for better learning and student exchange.

Our college has good fests and a campus life with great learning experiences.
Placements: The psychology department didn't have placements or internship opportunities. However, other departments have good placements, as I had heard the MBA department had good placements. But, I am not aware of any placements in our department. Other than that, my other experiences were great.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are amazing with Wi-Fi accessibility. The library had a wide range of course-related books. Canteen food is decent with a good variety. Most of the instruments were in psychology labs. The medical facilities were good, and the hostel had a separate canteen. Our classrooms had projectors.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are amazing and helpful. PowerPoints were used to teach, which was helpful. Our course curriculum is good and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams were moderately difficult. Teachers provided proper study materials and ppts, as well as pdfs of good reference books.
Other: I loved psychology, so I opted for it. I think the more practical experience could have been given. The events and fests in our college were mind-blowing. I enjoyed it a lot. The most awaited were the fests of Amity.

Moderately satisfied, because of the management, good faculty, great infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: We didn't have placements. We were B.A. course so we didn't have placements. We were informed about it from the beginning. Amity is transparent about their information. Higher degrees have placements from amity. As AB students we don't get placements from amity.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The building, classrooms and hallways have AC. Free Wi-Fi available all over the campus. The library is multi stored and have huge collection of academic books. There are three and canteen and another canteen in under construction which will have dite food. Amity is constructing a complete building for sports which will hve swimming pool ets. They have both girls and boys team for each spots.
Faculty: The faculty is great. They are equipped with experience and knowledge though they can be bit ruse sometimes. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and dose make sure the students are industry ready. The Exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose the course because I was really interested in the and Amity had great faculty. The experience was the best part. I wish the management was a bit better in case of assignment submission or any important documents submission they informed one hour prior. The events conduct by Amity is amazing. The campus crowd is exquisite.

Satisfied with faculty teaching, infrastructure etc., not with the administration and food taste.
Placements: Since it is a Bachelor's degree and at Amity Kolkata, they do not provide placements to Bachelor's degrees for psychology. And for higher courses there are placements and it says they provide great placement offers too. Mostly we prefer to get a job by ourselves and also the faculty recommend us to get job ourselves and not to depend on college for much time I presume. But, although the faculty members will help you while searching for jobs if you are on their list of intellectual individuals. They will help you by providing contact information of people who might be of some help. As I said the faculty members are really nice and very helpful.
Infrastructure: The campus is great and the facilities offered are worth the money. The campus is big enough to feel the surrounding. There is a lot of stuff and buildings for a lot of extra curriculum activities. We have a hall to practice anything, a playground for basketball, tennis, football, badminton, etc., library, canteens, CCD (cafe coffee day), lounge area, labs, art studio. They also have a lot of activities for everything. They celebrate every event so you get to stay connected with your traditions and a lot of others too. They have a very nice library with a variety of books and knowledge. There are a lot of useful psychology books and journals. They also have exam papers which u can borrow and return later. Along with this, they have an online Library for the amity students too. They had 3 canteens yet and I heard they will increase the numbers. Though the food is a bit costly I agree Maggi is served yummy and you can opt for snacks and drinks. They provide a variety of snacks and different on different days. They have Wi-Fi, and you can register it from the office. The people are very helpful too. The classrooms are great and big yet comfortable. The desks are in such a way that you can see people and faculty members easily. Well-arranged rooms and for us, there are charging points at every seat. I guess that is one thing I loved about it. The hostel infrastructure is nice. The only thing I hate about the hostel is to ask permission for the day out. There were a lot of formalities for that. Only Saturday and Sunday are the days when we can go out. So that was a bit of a letdown for me. But on other days one can go out between 12-3 pm. There is a biometric for entering the campus, so it is safe. Safety is totally ensured at Amity University.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. Like other colleges few will be annoying and with attitude and biased, but mostly the faculty members are very nice and helpful. You can contact them and ask for clarification, and they will not hesitate once to help you solve the issues. Before exams, they also provide with few exam papers and ask us to solve them. They guide us with ample research papers and knowledge so that we can move forward with the stuff. Some faculty will be too annoying and biased. So make sure to lure them with your knowledge and also with the buttering skills. Overall the faculty is great and helpful.
Other: I loved psychology and the time I visited this university for the first time I found it amazing. For psychology, it is quite affordable and worth the money. There are a lot of events, so you get to have fun with your studies. The thing I would like to change is the time management at Amity University. It is very poor. The Administration lacks here. Overall this is one thing that I hate about Amity. But they have a lot of great facilities and activities for everyone. You need to be very attentive and grab everything that comes your way. I missed this point so I know you shouldn't. You will have a lot of friends and a happy environment if you join everything you can. Overall this is a great opportunity.

It's an excellent experience. I love going to college as the classes are filled with fun.
Placements: The first batch just passed out from the college. I've no idea about the placements. It's hard to say anything about placements because the college is newly established. But the college provides summer internship to the students. I hope the college provides better placements in the coming years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. The college has good labs, good classrooms, and a nice library. The college provides decent facilities. Overall, a good study environment prevails and helps the students to grow. This is the best thing about the college. They pay a lot of attention to the infrastructure of the college. The classrooms are centrally air-conditioned, and they provide a good environment for the students.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are average. Some teachers are good and qualified. All the faculty members are helpful. Teachers maintain a friendly relationship with all the students. Students love their respective faculty members, and they are open with them. The relationship between the teacher and students is good.
Other: The faculty members of our college encourage the students to participate in all kinds of events and extracurricular activities. The college organises events frequently. The campus is really aesthetic and well maintained. The college provides scholarships to the deserving students.
