B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.4
It has excellent core academics with vibrant campus life.
Placements: Placements are very good. Almost 90 percent of students got placed. Some students also get off-campus placement offers. The average package offered for the B.Tech is 9 LPA. We are participating in many hackathons and different coding competitions. We are provided with many industry-expert sessions and expert lectures with full support from teachers.
Infrastructure: I am from the B.Tech CSE course. The most pressing issue is the consistent and low-bandwidth hostel Wi-Fi, which sometimes severely impacts necessary searches. Facilities are clean, and the routine maintenance response time is fast. Common areas are good for socializing, and there are quiet zones or a study room within the hostel. The class can accommodate almost 35-40 students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Most of the teachers are from NIT and top colleges. There are regular doubt sessions, and the course curriculum is updated. Even though extra classes are arranged for extra sessions. There are so many free training sessions for more skillsets like Power BI, Python, DSA, etc. Here, we focus on modern tools. The course curriculum is based on modern industry needs with modern DevOps practices. We can easily interact with teachers.
Other: After passing my class 12th, I was very confused about which college to choose, and then I chose Geeta University, which turned out to be a turning point in my life. The college environment is very good. The campus culture is generally collaborative but competitive. There is a high level of involvement in clubs, Greek life, and intramural activities. I suggest there could be more companies for internships, through which we get the vast industry experience.

Geeta University: A good mix of learning and opportunities.
Placements: Placement support is improving every year. They provide training, mock interviews, and company-specific preparation. The university offers good placements , the highest package is 40 LPA, and the average package is between 4–6 LPA depending on the course and the student’s skills.
Infrastructure: I would rate the course as fairly good. The mentorship is provided by Coding Clock mentors, and they teach really well. The labs are glass labs with 50–60 seats of capacity per lab, and there is fast Wi-Fi in every lab and classroom. However, there is no seminar hall in our CSE department.
Faculty: Some faculty members are highly qualified and teach very well, but a few have completed their degrees only recently (around 2 years ago), and their teaching still needs improvement. The exam system includes a 50-marks mid-semester exam and a 100-marks end-semester exam.
Other: I am from the CSE batch and chose this course for coding and tech skills. The best parts are strong mentorship, modern labs, and internship support. I wish for more real-world projects. The campus fest is known as Sangrila, it is held every year in March, and the crowd is well managed by the university. Scholarships are also good.

Good college, good hostel.
Placements: Mostly students get placed, with the highest being 7 LPA and the lowest 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Pronell, Cent, Agrosoft, and many more for roles in frontend development, backend development, and many more. Mostly, students get internships because our placement department is very active.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is fine, labs are fine. Classrooms are fine, the library is good, the hostel is good, and the food is also fine, not like home, but still good. The canteen is fine. There are 3 canteens. Medical facilities are also available, and sports events also happen. Students from other colleges also come.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also fine. The course curriculum is also relevant. It does make students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very tough. If you study throughout, you can pass.

Good college, good placements.
Placements: Almost all students are placed. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Profunnel, Prodesk, and many others. Most students secured internships, some at Codeways Technologies, some at Pronell, and others. The top roles are front-end development, back-end development, and more.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good, the labs are good, there are many pc which are in working condition, and there are multiple labs. There are air-conditioned classrooms, and there are multiple classrooms that are spacious as well. The library is also good, it has a lot of different varieties of books, starting from fiction, nonfiction, scientific, study-related, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is decent, and the course curriculum is relevant. They strive to prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are manageable, but you need to study throughout the semester to pass. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I like coding. The best part of my course is the variety of topics we can learn, allowing us to pursue careers in multiple fields. We have many internships and projects. There are events regularly, including two festivals. The campus crowd is friendly, and connectivity is good. The campus is surrounded by fields. There are many criteria for scholarship, and there are many extracurricular activities.

Overall, everything is good, but staff members 1 and 2 are very bad.
Placements: The placement rate varies by course and year, but generally, a significant percentage of students are placed. According to some reviews on Shiksha, around 80% of students in some courses like Integrated BBA + MBA have been placed, while other reviews suggest a range of 60-70% placement. The highest salary package offered has been reported as high as 40 LPA, with the lowest around 3 LPA. The average package is typically between 4-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are positive reviews regarding its hostel, mess, and canteen facilities. Students report good quality food in the mess and canteen, with options for both AC and non-AC rooms in the hostels. Medical facilities, sports, and games provisions are also available.
Faculty: Semester exams are generally considered moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is 40%. While some students find them manageable with proper preparation. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Teachers are very helpful.
Other: Many events and fests are organised in our college. The scholarship facility is available in our college.

Good college and value for money.
Placements: Placements are good here. Most of the students get placed in the domain or field they want to be placed in. Approximately 90% of the students are placed in the 2025 batch because right now we are in pre final year, so the placements have not started yet. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Pronell, Prodesk, Profennel, and many more. Top roles offered are front-end developer, back-end developer, and full-stack developer. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest must be around 4 LPA. Some students are doing internships from the college itself in various domains and some have gone to other companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are new buildings. Wi-Fi is very good. The labs are fully air-conditioned, and they have many PCs. The classrooms are spacious, and they have ACs too. The library has a lot of books. There is a reading area, a discussion area, and a cyber cafe type area where we can search for things. Hostel is fine, and there is AC. The food is fine. There is a football ground, a badminton court, table tennis, and many more things. There are few medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help students with everything. The teaching quality is also very good. They help us with notes and even provide us with real-life examples so that we learn things better. Curriculum is very relevant. It makes the students industry ready only that's why students are getting placed. The semester exams are not very difficult you just have to be regular in class. The exams will go off very easily. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I was passionate about coding. The industry-related curriculum. Currently, I think there is nothing maybe I am wrong. Not many events happen but some do happen. The fests are good. The campus crowd is fine. Connectivity is also fine. The campus is surrounded by fields. There is an exam called GUTS that is for a scholarship. There are many extracurricular activities like NSS, hackathons, and many more.

The university is pretty good in terms of academics, facilities, and infrastructure.
Placements: The number of students placed is less, but the only ones who are placed are the ones who are good in studies and actually have knowledge about something. During the admission time, the counsellors also tell this thing only that the student who studies will be placed. Top recruiting companies are not very famous, but they give a reasonable package for a fresher. The companies are Cv3, HCL, and De Facto. The top roles offered mainly are about sales or about junior positions. The highest package was 9 LPA, and the lowest was about 3 LPA. The internships were in the companies like Naai India. Some students got internships there.
Infrastructure: The facilities are pretty good, but they are still building things like the auditorium, the incubation center, and many new blocks. the ac facility is good; there are ac's in all the classes. The LEDs are also in perfect condition to work. Labs are also pretty good; all the pc's are working, and if one of them is not working, you can file a complaint, and it will be resolved very soon. The library is also very good. It has so many books about all our courses. We have two libraries in our university. There is a discussion room also available in the library where you can discuss stuff and not disturb others. The hostel facilities are good. There are many rooms. The rooms are clean and spacious. The quality of food is also good. It cannot compete with the food we eat at home, but it’s good. The canteen is also good. We have three canteens, and the food is good. The facilities are also good. Medical facilities are also good. A doctor is available 24/7 in the university. Our university not only focuses on academics but also on sports and games. We conduct inter-department competitions of cricket, football, badminton, and many more.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They try their best to solve our doubts. Since we have collaboration with coding blocks, the teachers from there are really amazing. They help us and guide us through everything. The teachers are qualified as well. Most of the teachers are done with their master’s and PhD. They have great knowledge about their respective subjects. I would like to rate the teaching quality 3.5/5. The best thing about this university is that they are developing their curriculum every now and then. They are updated about the needs and wants of the company and they even let the students know about them. They try their best to make the students industry ready. They have added soft skill classes which help us to face mock interviews. They help us to know about our strengths and weaknesses. The semester exams are not very difficult if you have studied. And if not, then of course they will be difficult. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I like to be in touch with technology. I am eager to learn new languages and wish to develop something of my own. The best thing about my course is that it is not constant; you keep learning new things and keep getting new bugs every now and then to fix. About my course, there is not much to be improved, but I think they should make us do more projects to build our resume. We do have events in our university; we almost celebrate every festival. There are fewer festivals; that is sad, but it’s okay; it’s fine. The campus crowd is also fine, not very good, but fine. Connectivity is good because the teachers here also have the companies of their own, so they help the students to get places. The campus is surrounded by a lot of farms. They provide 100% scholarship on the basis of their entrance exam called GUTS. They arrange many extra-curricular activities like sports, techfest, literary fest, and many more.
