Q:   Is the BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus the same for all colleges?

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. SNJB civil branch review.
Placements: I'm from the Department of Civil Engineering of SNJB College. In the year 2023, around 50 percent of the students were placed. The highest package was around 7 LPA, the lowest package was 1 LPA. The average package was around 2 LPA-3 LPA. Top recruiters are Rohan Builder, Anand Developer, Arihant Buildcon, etc.
Infrastructure: In our department, each classroom contains a smart board for visual learning of the graphic subject. Wi-Fi is also available. The central library is very useful for the students. Hostels are well-hygienic. Food quality is acceptable. An on-campus medical facility is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly with the students. Every teacher is qualified and knowledgeable. Some have achieved Ph.D. degrees in their specific field. Our college also organizes an industry-ready programme for the final year students, which is helpful for their internship and placements.
Other: I chose this course ( civil engineering) because the civil branch is the backbone of the infrastructure. Students can get government job opportunities in PWD, railways, the municipal corporation, etc.

Satisfied because the college infrastructure and teaching quality are good.
Placements: In the previous year, 75 percent of the students are placed. The average package offered is 4 to 5 LPA, the lowest package offered is 2 LPA and the highest package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiters are Tata, Mahindra, etc. More than 75 percent of students got internship. This course offers an opportunity in various construction fields or working as labour under the contractor.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the college. Labs are well designed with all important equipment. Classrooms are well designed for a study environment. Library contains a variety of books. Hostel food is good. The canteen provides well hygienic snacks.
Faculty: Teachers are always there to help students and they always help students understand the concept. All teachers are qualified and some have completed their Ph.D. and masters in their specific subject, which enhances the quality of our college. The course is relevant to make students industry ready.
Other: I think there will be more scope for the civil branch in the future as India is rapidly developing. Our college organised industrial civil visit.

Absolutely satisfied because of the teacher faculty and management team of the college.
Placements: In the previous year more than 70 percent of the students are placed from our college. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the lowest package is around 2 LPA. The average package is around 5LPA. More than 50 percent of students secure internships in top companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provides various facilities as follows. The infrastructure of our college is well designed with new ideas. Department infrastructure is built as per the requirements of the course. Our college provides Wi-Fi in every corner of the college with good speed. Labs are well designed for specific subjects such as Physics and Chemistry and others. Classroom consists of a smart board always connected with Wi-Fi to provide a quality digital learning experience to students every time. There is a huge library of our college called the central library which contains numerous books for students related to academic and non academic. Food is good.
Faculty: As first year student I found teacher very helpful and all teachers are well qualified and have graduated from well reputed college in Maharashtra. Teaching quality of every teacher is good. Our college provides various seminars such as placement trips and tricks. Internship information and interview guidelines. This makes our college students industry ready. Our college conducted a semester exam with a very strict passing percentage for students.
Other: I chose the AIDS branch because I like the learn Artificial Intelligence. I am always eager to learn how AI can think like humans and how it can access our information from various apps. Various Events are organised every month. The campus is surrounded by greenery and mountains. Scholarships such as SBI category scholarship are provided to students for academic benefit to support their finances. Extra curricular activities such as NSS, sports, cultural, and yoga are conducted.

The campus has a good study environment, which creates motivation to study.
Placements: As a first-year student, I will be passing out in 2029. According to the official SNJB website, in the academic year 2023-24, 23 students were placed out of 60 in the AI & IT course. The highest package was 9.5 LPA. The lowest package was 1.2 LPA. The average package was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Jaro Education, Byju's, Infosys, and Mahindra. Jaro Education provided a package of more than 8 LPA to 5 students in the 2023-24 academic year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is decent. There is a smart digital board in every classroom with Wi-Fi. The college has a huge central library containing a wide variety of books for specific courses. The mess provides tasty and good-quality food, including Jain food. Medical facilities are available for students 24/7 with a well-equipped dispensary on campus.
Faculty: As an autonomous college, all teachers are very friendly. They always encourage students to engage while learning. All teachers are well-qualified. Some have completed their Ph.D. in their respective courses. The college organizes seminars on industry-relevant topics, which help students prepare for internships. Exams are held very strictly.
Other: The best thing about AI is learning from AI to develop AI. I chose this course because I am always eager to know how AI can think and work independently. The campus is surrounded by beautiful mountains with greenery. The college organizes extracurricular activities for the 360° development of students, such as site visits, construction site visits, and spiritual visits.

My review of this college.
Placements: Placements were good. Almost 80% got placed, and almost all IT majors and automobile companies like Hyundai and Honda made it. Finance and Research companies like top companies come to campus for recruitment, like Blue Star, Bajaj Allianz, GE Capital, Dabur, Birla Sunlife, etc. The average package stood around 5.5 LPA, and the highest goes up to 20 LPA, depending on the skills and qualifications. The college had good contacts with the industry, so they have been successful in placing almost all the students. Some of them, including me, had been lucky and had multiple offers in hand.
Infrastructure: It was a well-structured curriculum. It obviously helps if you know exactly what field you want your career in, but they also give us one year to figure out the subjects you want to do for your major. In the long term, it doesn't matter what subjects you studied. Hostel amenities are good. Hostel rooms are spacious, and we have single and shared basis hostels. Will be provided with wardrobes, individual beds, blankets, towels, pillows, tables and chairs. Also provides laundry facilities. Mess includes both veg and non-veg, and apart from the mess, there are many branded outlets.
Faculty: The faculty are very much qualified, and the way they teach us is very impressive. We have smart classes, and the whole system is offline with a smart board PPT presentation. The teaching aspects of faculty members are very nice, they teach us very well, and they create an environment in which we can study easily. The exam structure is kind of strict as student has to maintain atleast 75% attendance to sit in the exam, and if it is below that, they are not allowed to sit in the examination for that semester. There were 4 semester exams, including 4 mid-semester exams.

It is a good college for engineering studies with average marks and income.
Placements: I'm a second year Mechanical Engineering student at SNJB College of Engineering, Chandwad. The placement percentage is average, and the average package offers are up to 4-5 LPA. Various new companies visit our college to conduct interviews and offer trainee placements.
Infrastructure: It is very good and very relevant in terms of the facilities and infrastructure at this college of engineering. The library, Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are all top-class. The food available at the mess and canteen is so nice and tasty. For sports and games, we have a very big ground to play on.
Faculty: All the teachers and staff members are really good. The industry-related visits are also a great experience. Exams are very difficult, and the situation is very strict at college. There is no chance of misbehaving and copying in exams, because the faculty members and teachers are very strict.

For admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme at Shri Neminath Jain Brahmacharyashram (SNJB) in Chandwad (Nashik), you must have either an MHT CET or JEE Main score.
