Good placements, decent faculty, strong infrastructure, and a need for curriculum upgrade.
Placements: At SRMS Bareilly, CSE students have good luck with placements, with about 80%-85% of students finding jobs. The top salary offered is 18 LPA (for off-campus positions), while the average sits around 4.5 LPA-5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Some of the leading companies that recruited here include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, and Zscaler. In terms of internships, roughly 60%-70% of students got opportunities through the college or sites like Internshala, working with firms like TCS iON, HCL, and various startups. The types of positions available include software developer, QA tester, web developer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: SRMS Bareilly offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a central library with digital access. Hostels are clean, with 24/7 security, medical facilities, and average-quality mess food. The canteen serves decent snacks. Sports facilities include cricket, basketball, gym, and indoor games. The campus is neat and well-maintained, supporting both academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers at SRMS Bareilly are helpful, well-qualified, and good at explaining concepts. The curriculum is mostly relevant, with some industry exposure through workshops and certification. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The overall pass percentage is around 85%-90%, making it suitable for sincere students aiming for both academic and placement success.
Other: I chose CSE for my interest in tech and coding. The best parts are good lab facilities, helpful faculty, and placement support. Improvement is needed in curriculum updates and more industry tie-ups. The campus hosts decent fests, has a friendly crowd, good Wi-Fi, and clean surroundings. Scholarships are offered, and extracurricular activities like coding clubs, zest, and sports are active and engaging.

It was not a waste of money, the infrastructure and facilities were really good, but the placements
Placements: In my college, only 30% of students were got placed in the 2024 batch. The highest package offered by Juspay was 21 lakhs, but only one student had cracked the final interview. Many students had been placed in the IT sector, while others had been placed in sales and BDE roles.
Infrastructure: SRM provided good infrastructure to the students, including AC rooms, a 12-hour AC library, and a 12-hour computer center. The sports facilities included a basketball ground, football ground, cricket ground, kabaddi and kho grounds, and a badminton court, among others. A music room was also available for the students. The hostels were neat and clean, and the food was the best thing in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and they will provide you best study materials, daily classes and all. All arw qualified but not all provide knowledgeable contents. Sometimes we have to bunk classes for self studies. During exams, phones, smartwatches are not allowed. So strict college.
Other: I chose the CSE branch because I thought I would get a good package through the college placements, but I didn't get placed by the college. Many students were not placed by the college. This year placements were not so good, but in 2022 and 2023, the placements were exceptional.

Honest Review of SRMS CET Bareilly.
Placements: Basically, due to the recession in the industry, the placement is not that good for the last 2-3 years. It is average, and can say 50-60% of students get placed successfully. The highest package is 21 LPA, the lowest is 2.45 LPA, and the average is 3.2 LPA. Top recruiters like Juspay, etc. Internships are average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is also average because it is very old, and they have not upgraded it yet. Wi-Fi and smart classrooms are there, but there is no access to mobiles and laptops in the class, so the Wi-Fi is not useful for students. The hostel is also average, and the food in the mess is good.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good and well-qualified, and some are not that good, so the faculty is also average. The teaching quality is very old school, so students do not understand the concepts easily. Everyone needs YouTube for their studies. Yes, the college provides the curriculum for placement in the placement cell, but it is the hard work of students that leads them to a good package.
Other: Due to my financial condition, I choose this college and course. Because I am not able to go outside the city for further studies, I choose it. I think if they allow laptops in the class and start focusing more on practical things, the study become more interesting.

Really great infrastructure and teachers to cater to the needs and talents of students .
Placements: Placement in SRMS is average, as expected at any tier 3 college but it supports off-campus placement, trains the students in placement drives and builds a network of their own. The college supports the internship and other training done by students to achieve placement.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned and large. The laboratories are equipped with modern tools and software to train and help students be industry-ready. The campus is huge, with many sports and other amenities. The canteen is also very clean and provides students with different meals. The hostel is inside the campus, with separate buildings for boys and girls and a clean and hygienic mess. The food served is also tasty and completes the nutrition required by the students.
Faculty: Teachers are greatly helpful and experienced in their respective fields. They support the students, provide insight into industry norms and teach the students in order to make them understand the topics and also to make it easier for them to learn the concepts. The curriculum is highly updated with respect to the current requirements in the industry and the frequency of examinations is high.
Other: I chose electronics and communication engineering because I have an interest in modern chip technology and wireless connectivity. And this college catered to my interest and also trained me to learn and understand them with all types of aids, whether they are visual or practical. Many events are organised by the college to create a great environment with different aspects, like sports and cultural and technological events.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 80 percent of students get placed in our college and the highest package offered is 10 lacs per annum and the minimum package offered is 2 lacs per annum. Top recruitment is done by TCS, Wipro, etc., and you get the role in your particular field if you have cracked their interview.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. All the classrooms are conditioned and all the sports are available on their personal grounds. And there is a netlab where students can use nets for study and to make presentations, and the hostel is also decent with quality food .
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; whenever you find anything difficult, you can directly contact the teacher without any hesitation. The college is very strict with their curriculum and your industry visits them also for your betterment and the examination is moderate according to Aktu.
Other: There are fests and technical events every year, and improvements should be made. Mobile phones should be allowed by the college and scholarships should also be given according to percentage.

For local students, it is good; neither too dissatisfied nor too satisfied. It is an average college
Placements: Previously, around 95% of students used to get placements from our college until the 2023 pass-out batch. However, this time the condition is not as good, with only about 50% of students getting placed. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest package achieved by a senior at Juspay is around 21 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. Securing a paid internship here is quite challenging, as you need to find one on your own. TCS is the top recruiting company here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is quite good, with a sufficient number of labs for practical work for every subject. For Computer Science, there are more than enough labs. Although I did not opt for the hostel as I am from Bareilly, I have heard from my mates that the food quality is good, and overall hostel facilities are also satisfactory.
Faculty: In the first year, you have very good teachers who are intelligent and supportive, showing a keen interest in teaching. However, after the first year, the quality of teachers declines, and their interest in teaching wanes. The course curriculum is more theoretical and does not align well with industry guidelines. Semester exams are manageable; you can pass by studying for about 10 days.
Other: I did not get into an NIT or IIT, and my parents were not ready to send me out of Bareilly, which is why I chose this college. It is the best college in Bareilly if you prefer not to leave the city; otherwise, consider other options.
