Very good study environment.
Placements: In my college, students start getting companies visiting them from the beginning of their 7th semester, with well-known companies like TCS, Wipro, and Decathlon among them. The highest package at our college has been 36 LPA, and the average flutters around 5-6 LPA, with around 80% of students getting placed. Many students also receive internship offers before landing a job.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good, but the food quality is not satisfactory. There are many hostels available outside, which are far better and relatively cheaper. I would suggest opting for an outside hostel for better food. The sports facilities are quite good since we have two campuses—some games are held on one campus and others on the second. Our college has 13 sub-councils and 2 clubs associated with the technical sub-council.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are really knowledgeable and experienced. They are always ready to help. They are focused on completing the syllabus on time without compromising quality. Semester exams are easy at the level our teachers teach.
Other: I want to prepare for government exams, which is why I chose civil engineering. In my course, both private and government careers are good options. Many events like Abhivyakti, Gantavya, and others are organized for students. Every student who applies for a scholarship gets one.

The Truth behind SRMCEM College.
Placements: Companies like ACC Cement, Gurukul, and SRM Motors have been actively involved in providing opportunities for projects in various fields over the past year. However, the placement ratio is 1:20, with many students receiving very low packages. This disparity highlights the need for better alignment between academic training and industry requirements to ensure more students secure well-paying jobs.
Infrastructure: Many classrooms lack air conditioning, making it hard for students to concentrate, especially in hot weather. Certain courses like BBA and BCA have some air-conditioned classrooms, but this is not consistent, leading to an uneven learning environment.
Faculty: The college provides a conducive environment for learning for all students regardless of their academic standing. It offers a range of resources such as libraries, study groups, and academic support services to help students improve their knowledge and skills. Additionally, the college is affiliated with AKTU and, on the basis of tutorial sheets, quizzes, surprise tests, mid-semester, and end-semester exams, gives internal marks. However, the college pass-out criteria are very tough, with 5 students getting backlogs out of 40, and some even getting a year back.
Other: The college environment can foster intense peer pressure, diverting students' attention from developing essential skills and focusing on academic and personal growth. Strict attendance policies and unreliable tracking can cause significant stress for students, making it difficult to balance their responsibilities and commitments effectively. Students often face a rigorous schedule with minimal breaks, typically only receiving a half day off on Saturday. This lack of downtime can lead to fatigue and reduced well-being.

Infrastructure and placements are better than average.
Placements: The placements of civil students is always less but those who are interested in placements obviously get placement with good packages about 6 to 8 LPA. CRYSO and APPCO were the top recruiters for civil. The college does not provide internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi, labs, classrooms and library are too good as compared to other colleges. Mess and canteen are average.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful. You can share whatever you want with them. They definitely help us and keep in touch with us. They always remember our plans and our strategies so that we never lose concentration. But this is possible only when our interaction with them is good. If you take regular classes and complete your assignments and quizzes then don't worry about your performance.

This college is good for civil engineering.
Placements: About 70% of college students were placed in good companies. The salary package was above average for average students. The top recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS, etc., come for recruiting. The top role offered in this course is, that it provides an extra edge to Python and Java. This college also helped me with communication skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The college also provides good Wi-Fi connections, labs, and classrooms. The college has several books in the library. The hostel premises is too good and the college also has various sports equipment and sports faculty members. The hostel mess is average.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well qualified. They have good knowledge of their subjects. This course curriculum is too good because it provides an edge over the other branches. After all, civil engineering is a core field of engineering. The semester exams were average in our college.
Other: I have chosen this course because, while civil engineering deals with practical concepts, I was much interested in doing practical things. Events were organised regularly within a few months and we also enjoyed too much.

Teacher, Placement and Infrastructure are good.
Placements: B.Tech Civil placement is very good. Around 70 to 90 per cent of students get placement. The highest package is 7 Lacs offer by L&T and the lowest is Rs 2.5 Lacs offer by Sadbhav. Companies come to visit in college to offer internships which is the best time for students to show their skill.
Infrastructure: All labs are available in the college which is useful. In library all types of book are available and wi-fi speed is also good. The canteen is small but food is good. Hostel rooms are good. All types of game are played in college like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, etc.
Faculty: College teachers are good and helpful for students. The teaching method is also good and the course curriculum is very useful. Teachers teach from basic and its help student to understand the basic concept in a better way. All teachers are experienced and well-qualified.
Other: Classrooms seats are old need to replace them other then that every thing is good.

Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
There is no age limit for the candidates.

Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA.
SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects.
A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
2024 onwards Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission instead of UPCET (Earlier UPSEE).
