Great for studies only, no enjoyment.

Placements: The college has good placement records in all of the courses, but I think the placement in ME is not good enough. According to my seniors, most of the time companies do not visit for the ME students. Students have to ask for the placement to call itself, as there are no placements for ME students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with all facilities, including smart projectors. Wi-Fi is available on every floor. Labs are also good, like the PPS and Electrical Engineering lab, and workshops are also good. Hostel infrastructure is fine, and the quality of mess food is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful for exams. They offer every material related to the quizzes and semester exams and help a lot. There are 2 quizzes per week that are converted into internal marks. Overall, if you submit all of your tutorials or assignments, you will get good marks.

Other: Events and fests are organized every month with great facilities.

The best college for engineering in Lucknow, or just overrated?

Placements: The placement percentage of the college is about 60%. The highest package offered for my batch was of 10 Lacs with the lowest package being 1.3 Lacs and the average package being around 3 Lacs. The top recruiters of our college are Tata, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Jaro. The internship percentage of the college is 70%. The roles offered in my course are that of sales and software.

Infrastructure: The library was top notch, they had a vast collection of books along with good management, but the course related labs had poor and insufficient equipments. Hostel was average but the mess facilities were not good. Sports facilities were also okay and they had good medical facilities.

Faculty: The teachers were qualified but not knowledgeable, the teaching quality was average. The course was not at all relevant to make students industry ready. The passing percentage was 30%. The semester exams were quite tough, but at the same time they were sufficient for end semester preparation.

Other: I had interest in Mechanical engineering and this college was the best option in my city. I would suggest the college to approach more practical knowledge in the courses and to work more on skill building related to placements. There were frequent fests, but the crowd of sports was not good.

Review of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges (SRMGPC | SRMCEM).

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in the previous year, and companies like Amazon came for placements. The highest salary package offered is around 17 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, Wipro, etc. Coding is the top role offered. CS and IT students get good salary packages from our college.

Infrastructure: Our college library is very beautiful, and very useful books are available for students to read. Wi-Fi is not good, and internet issues are the main problems we are facing. Classrooms are not in good condition. Our college building and hostel are good. Facilities are provided by our college. The neatness and cleanliness in our college are very good.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very helpful and have a very deep knowledge of the subjects that they are teaching. The interaction between students and teachers is also very good. Weekly tests and surprise quizzes are conducted to test the knowledge of students. Courses are decided by AKTU, and courses are much more relevant according to the requirements of the industry.

Placements: Approximately 8 SGPA students get in per semester. Professional courses like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, and BCA are available. TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant are the top recruiting companies. IT companies like Google and Microsoft visit to hire students. They can recruit average mark students but they have to be skilled.

Infrastructure: In this college, seperate block is reserved for specific courses. Workshops, laboratories, cafeteria, and library are available. The hostel facility is appreciable. Sports like cricket, football, badminton, and table tennis are played in a huge playground. The whole campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. The whole staff is fully vaccinated in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and eligible. They know how to deal with the potential of the students. They also visit the different industries across the area frequently. The marks criteria are hard, and students have to fight for their internals which makes their end semester good.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I love to explore things at ground level, and I prefer doing work more manually. Several fests like Abhivyakti, Gantavya, and Spardha are held and fests like Dracula and Euphony are conducted.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: The college is good for placements. IT organizations like Cognizant, Nagar and others come here. In mechanical-related courses, the average package offered is 3 LPA. But in IT, it is much higher. Almost everyone gets internships. Top roles in mechanical are production, HVAC tool, design etc.

Infrastructure: The college has a good library and classrooms. A fruitful study environment is provided in the library, labs etc. The college canteen is average. Wi-Fi facility is good support to hostelers. All faculty members in the department can help us with any issue.

Faculty: Very strict curriculum and attendance roaster make our college different from other colleges. Weekly tests and quizzes define it. There are quizzes every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, which is basically a 30 marks test on each subject which plays a vital role in internal marks development.

Other: Various college contests and fests are held in a year. Every individual could participate in any event.

One of the best private engineering college in Lucknow.

Placements: Approximately every student got placed in good companies except few some of them were not qualified enough and others took voluntarily decision to not sit in placement drives. Mainly IT companies arrived in the campus, as a mechanical engineering student I wanted some core companies to come.

Infrastructure: Library is well-equipped. Computer labs are in full swing. , Mechanical department labs need to be furnished. Sports equipment are easy to avail Hostel food is good. College buses often get malfunctioned which troubles faculty n Students. Canteen facilities should be expanded.

Faculty: We often had to turn to YouTube for clarification because some facilities are not at par with subject knowledge. Semester exams are at mid difficulty level. Students often turn to quantum books for covering the syllabus. Pass percentage is above 90 percent.

Other: Best thing is coverage of syllabus by some very brilliant faculty. I wish that the infrastructure in some areas get improved, like sporting events complex, mechanical dept. lab. And also they should add teaching on screens.

Our college provides a combined experience which every student wants in their college.

Placements: Around 80% of students were placed in different companies. The top salary package offered was 12 LPA, and other salary packages offered were around 10 LPA. The placements were offered in very good companies like Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, Ramky, etc. The percentage was around 8 CGPA for most of the students, which makes this college very promising and knowledgeable.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure were very neat and clean here. There was a beautiful view to study here. The canteen provides hygienic food, and the taste is very delightful. The infrastructure of the hostels is very promising and is hygienic to every student staying there.

Faculty: In our college, faculty members are very helpful and have excellent knowledge about their subjects. They teach us and make sure that every student in the class understands every topic. Faculty members make sure that before external exams, everything is taught clearly to every student by conducting random tests and quizzes so that none of the students misses any topic or chapter.

Other: Many festivals and extracurricular activities are organised every year to have a different experience.

It is the best college in Lucknow and one of the top colleges of AKTU.

Placements: Major companies that come to our college are mass recruiter companies in the IT sector. Various companies visit the college, but the highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for mechanical engineers were Duncan, Royal Enfield, Ramky, IERS, etc. They offered the roles of graduate engineer trainee.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided are average. There is nothing to complain about facilities and infrastructure. The library has enough available books and access to everyone. Canteen and medical facilities, sports, and games everything are great.

Faculty: Teachers in SRMCEM are very good and the environment here is study-oriented. SRMCEM is the best in terms of academics. They have quizzes from time to time, tests, etc. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes it interesting too. The semester exams are averagely difficult and due to regular internal papers, all the students are well prepared for the semester exams always. From our batch, the pass percentage was 99% and almost it is 99% for every batch. In terms of academics, SRMCEM is the best college.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be in government jobs but in the 3rd year I shifted my efforts towards the IT sector and got campus placement in Cognizant and TCS. There were many events and fests like Gantavya, Dandiya Night, Diwali night, Abhivyakti and many more which were very fun to take part in.
