College is good but not that good because of faculty members and there are no good placements.

Placements: 1. 5% of students are placed only because, as civil engineering students, they like to go for government jobs only and private jobs they don't prefer as much. And companies also come very rarely in this course so very few students get a chance for any kind of job. 2. The highest package is 4 lakh per annum and the lowest was 2 lakh per annum 3. Adani, Balaji Private Limited, etc. are the top recruiters. 4. No internship was offered to any student in my course. 5. Site manager is the top role offered.

Infrastructure: 1. There is a big library where all the subject books are, and students can read there. 2. In the hostel, there are 2-, 3-, and 4-seater rooms where students can take rooms of their choice. The quality of food is not that of food in the mess and the mess is also not that hygienic. Plates are not washed properly. Food is provided for 3 durations: one is in the morning, that is breakfast, the second is lunch, and the third is dinner at night. No milk is given to any student.

Faculty: (1). Teachers are helpful, except for a few teachers and the quality of teaching of some teachers is good. They guide them in every situation and motivate them. (2). Civil engineering is the core branch of the engineering branch. And there is always future scope in this subject and while practicing in the lab for 1 year also can make the student ready. (3). Semesters are easy in this college; only you have to focus on your subject only 1 month early for your exams and can get good marks. Pass percentage is 35 marks only out of 100.

Other: 1. I chose this subject because I am interested in civil exams and my father is also a civil engineer. 2. This can improve in my course is that practical lab things should be made important because in civil theory, it is not as much important as doing practically. 3. Events take place 1-2 times a month; it depends on the college guidelines and campus crowd is not that much. Mostly you can see locals there. And scholarships are also provided to the students who are SC/ST and whose annual income is less than 2 lacs.

Good college with good facilities and good professors; placement was good in 2018.

Placements: 35% of students got placements, but due to COVID, it decreased in the past year. The highest package was INR 25 Lacs per annum, and the lowest was INR 10k per month. TCS, Bhilai Steel Plant, etc. are the top recruiting companies. 10% of students got internships at Aditya Birla and Bhilai Steel Plants. The top roles offered are site engineer, Patwari, etc.

Infrastructure: College is good with good infrastructure, and enough labs are provided so that students can utilize them nicely. Libraries are there so that students can go at any time to study, and enough books are provided. The hostel is excellent, but the food is subpar. Food is not prepared with proper hygiene and cleaning.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Yes, this course makes the students ready for industry. Semester exams are not difficult; students can easily qualify for this exam, and the passing mark is 35 out of 100.

Other: I chose this course because my father is also a civil engineer. The best thing about this course is learning new ideas about construction. I want to do practical things more so that you can improve your knowledge. Events and fests are held sometimes only.

Review of Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus.

Placements: In the 12th standard, students who score above 65% in academics take admission to our college. The highest salary package offered is 3 crores per annum. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. I heard the top branches who give jobs are computer science, information technology, mechanical, and electrical engineering streams.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like a library, campus hostel, car parking, bus parking, bike parking, cycle parking, sitting area, and playing area. It provides indoor and outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, gym, etc. Maximum students from different locations take admission here.

Other: It has one of the great campuses and crowd.

The college is the best with great faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. If your marks are good, then definitely you will get a job. About 30 students got placed in the civil department. Companies like L&T, Samsung, HP, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college are great as compared to other colleges. Classrooms are huge. The college provides Wi-Fi facility in classrooms and library. Every classroom has a projector facility. Food served in the mess is great. The college provides a small infirmary for emergencies. Everything available in our college is for a good reason.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified. They have great experience in teaching. Some teachers even have experience of 38 years in teaching. They are very helpful. They provide a great teaching environment. They also give NEST practical knowledge. Many teachers are friendly.

Other: I have chosen this course because civil engineering course is the future of India as the industry is growing rapidly.

A college worth spending 4 years of your life.

Placements: We had a few placement opportunities. Companies from the IT, construction, and service sectors visited the campus for placements. However, they don't offer great placement offers. Nevertheless, this college provides one of the best placement opportunities among the colleges affiliated to CSVTU. The college also helps you get good placement opportunities by organising tests like AMCAT, Cocubes, eLitmus etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great. There are separate blocks for all departments. The fact that Shankaracharya College has 3 technical and one medical college in vicinity proves they offer good infrastructural facilities. Library, sports ground and parking facilities are sufficient enough. Shankara organises a cultural festival in which the students of all of its campuses named S1, S2 and S3 participate. The infrastructural facilities are sufficient enough even during festivals and events.

Faculty: The biggest problem that engineering education is facing today is with the quality of the faculty members. S1 is fortunate enough to have a few good teachers in all departments. The course curriculum decided by CSVTU, and the curriculum is followed by all the institutions affiliated to CSVTU in Chhattisgarh.

Our college provides maximum number of placements.

Placements: Our college provides maximum placement opportunities in the civil branch. Approximately 60% of students are placed in companies like TCS, Mahindra, Byju's, etc. There is a placements cell in the civil department which provides opportunities to the students for their better future. Our department conducted many seminars to improve skills of the students.

Infrastructure: The college has a wonderful infrastructure. The campus is lush green. There are top-class labs. There are basketball courts, badminton courts, cricket playground, and table tennis, etc. There is a garden to hang out and have fun. There is Shankara Medical College on the campus.

Faculty: All teachers in our college are highly knowledgeable and completed their higher studies. Most of the teachers are very charming and intelligent. They simply teach us methods of learning and how to score high marks in the competitive exams. Few of them are graduated from IITs.

Other: Every year a huge cultural event named Samvid is held in our college. The college conducts sports programme and a cultural programme every time.

It is an average college under CSVTU which offers you only a degree.

Placements: Placements for core branch students including mechanical and civil are not good, but others like CSE, EEE and IT students can have good placements. There are no specific companies offering jobs to core students.

Infrastructure: Sufficient facilities are available on the campus itself. Playgrounds, canteen, hostels and classrooms are available. It is really easy to commute to the college as it is just beside the National Highway.

Faculty: Many of the faculty members are inexperienced, young and also some of them are freshers. So, the students have to opt for self-study for good results. If you can really do that, you don't face any problems in the college.

Infrastructure: The fee structure of the college is low, and the facilities provided are the best.
