A mediocre college with decent facilities
Placements: In B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, the placement percentage is 72.5%. Before placements, mock interviews are conducted by the faculty members of the campus. The highest package offered is around 20 LPA, I guess. The average package bagged is around 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3.14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are like TCS, Capgemini, etc.
Infrastructure: College has a decent infrastructure with good facilities, CS labs from 2nd year are well maintained with proper systems and air conditioning, classrooms are decent, but they have become old now and could be renovated, the library is quite big with a very large variety of books and contents to consume, Wi-Fi speed is also decent. The college has started to focus on sports too, constructing a basketball court. There's a ground for cricket and football too, and maybe a badminton court and a swimming pool (paid). About food, mess is decent with average food, and a good canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members here are decent, some are good, some are not so good, basically depends on the person who's teaching. About curriculum, new education policies are being started here, focusing on and giving priority to communication skills, resume making, etc. The college also insists that students enroll in any other course for certifications and skills. Semester exams here are easy to moderate-ish. If you score well in the class test, the paper will be easy for you, as similar questions come from CT in ESE. Don't have an idea of the passing percentage, but the exam is easy, student can easily pass by studying for 1 week.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study further in this field only. The best thing about college is that it's not that strict on a student and doesn't create unnecessary pressure. Although there's a lot of scope for improving the classrooms. Yearly fests, hackathons, and other function happens frequently here. Scholarship is available for students with poor financial conditions and also on the basis of categories.

The college is decent, with supportive faculty and departments. It is value for money.
Placements: There are placements, but they are not up to the mark when compared to the total number of students graduated. Faculty members promise 100 percent placement when you take admission into this college, but providing placement to even 200 graduates out of 1000 cannot be called 100% placement.
Infrastructure: Hostels are decent. There is a separate hostel for freshers and another for seniors, so there is no ragging in this college. You share a room with 2-3 people in the first year, and from the second year, 2 people occupy one room. However, most students shift outside the campus to PGs, flats, etc., after the first year.
Faculty: Faculty members and departments are always supportive. Curriculum is provided on time, and the syllabus is up to date. The biggest problem here is the uncertainty of exam dates. They are unannounced, usually late, and results are also declared very late.

This college is good for engineering.
Placements: I am Yash Chandra, studying in SSTC, doing B.Tech in CSE (AIML). I chose this subject because of AI development in the future. The average package was 4 LPA in several companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc., which is good. You can choose this college for a better future with government jobs if you top this university.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. There is good availability of Wi-Fi, cleanliness of rooms, the mess food is okay, and the hostel is also good. There are also medical facilities available in our hostel as well as in college, and indoor game equipment is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful as well as supportive in exams and for projects. Semester exams are difficult for those who don't study, and competition between students is also high! There are 2 CT exams and 14 passing marks in each, then mid-semester!

In short my college is quite average with very good placements and average facilities, satisfied.
Placements: A decent percentage of students get placed. In my course (specifically CSE-AI) almost 6-9 students got placed. The highest package offered is 6 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The average package is upto 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, and Capgemini. Internship is quite good. Upto 50% of students got internships. Top roles offered are webstack developer, java developer, sales manager, and product manager.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite average. Not that much good. Wi-Fi is slow. Labs are good. Classrooms in my opinion are not that good. Library is also average. Hostel facility is average and their mess is okay. College canteen is quite good. Also, the campus has extra fast food and juice shops, includes stationery. Sports teams also have been in competition with other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They sometimes help and sometimes do not also. But overall faculty members are good. Course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. It also helps in fighting extra exams like PSU and all. Semester exams are not that difficult. Pass percentage is 85-95%.
Other: I chose artificial intelligence because of today's generation. Also in Bhilai my college was the only one providing that course, more practical knowledge can be improved in my course rather than theoretical. Events, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are very good.

I'm somewhat dissatisfied because of mediocre teachers, with a low-quality hostel and mess.
Placements: Around a quarter of students who appeared for a placement interview get placed in a data science course. The highest package offered in our course is 5 LPA. The lowest package offered in our course is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Accenture. Around 25% of students get an internship from companies like Ninjacart. The top roles offered are software developer and associate.
Infrastructure: There are not so good facilities and infrastructure available in this college. There is Wi-Fi on campus, which is decent. The labs have equipment, but some of them don't work. Some computers don't have operating systems, while others may lack keyboard or mouse. Classrooms have dirty benches. The library is decent and has ample books relevant to the course. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is terrible, and it smells a lot in the corridors. The food quality of mess is barely edible, but the canteen has some good foods. There aren't any proper medical facilities. Sometimes like once in six month there is a cricket match and that's it.
Faculty: The teachers are not so qualified, but are helpful. Some of the teachers who taught us are from the same college. The teaching quality is mediocre. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant, but it focuses more on theory rather than practical aspects. Students can take an online course to get industry-relevant skills. The difficulty of the semester exam is moderate, and almost 80% is the pass percentage of the exam.

    Decent faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: SSTC has a placement rate of over 85%, with some sources reporting up to 90%. The average package is approximately 3 LPA-5 LPA. The median package is around 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Byju's, Capgemini, Adani Group, Ashok Leyland, and Birlasoft.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, including hostels and laboratories. SSTC provides well-equipped labs for various departments and classrooms are very great. College has a huge library which has massive books collections. They have great hostel and medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers of SSTC are very helpful and approachable. SSTC boasts a team of experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. Semester exams are moderately challenging you need to score more than 500 marks out of 1000.
