The roles that offered to students are not so good and may that be the reason for the low percentage of placements.

Satisfied with faculty. The infrastructure needs to be restructured.
Placements: Approximately 150 students from a batch of 190 were placed at multiple companies. The highest package was around 18 LPA. The average package was around 5 LPA. The lowest package was around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Telco, Justdial, and many other private firms.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. It includes ventilated classrooms, a library, the biggest hockey ground among universities, a garden, a cafeteria, and sitting areas. There was no hostel. The canteen food was good and reasonably priced. Football, kabaddi, and kho-kho all had different well-qualified coaches. Seminar halls, a multipurpose hall, an auditorium, and computer labs were available.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and helpful. Semester exams were not very difficult. Teachers also took extra lectures if students requested them. The pass percentage was around 85%. If students studied seriously, they became industry-ready.
Other: There were great events and societies in different departments.

I am not dissatisfied with my faculty. They are really good.
Placements: I get information about placements through my seniors. They tell me that placement rate at our college is around 45 percent. The highest package is around 6 LPA. The lowest is Rs. 50,000. I am not sure about it since I hear it from others.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are the best. Five water coolers work properly, and the toilets always remain clean. There are two playgrounds, a sports room, and a computer lab. In the computer lab, some systems do not work properly, and there is a canteen.
Faculty: Faculty of our college is very friendly, supportive, and well-knowledgeable. They make students industry-ready since they conduct lab classes and give us knowledge about industries and other things. I will attend my first semester exam in December, so I am not sure about the exams.
Other: I chose B.Com Honors since I want to become a banker, so this course is useful for me. The course is alright, and there is no need to improve anything. There are a lot of events organized by the administration. We also enjoy events like the freshers’ party.

Decent, not bad, but still needs to work on placements.
Placements: About 10% of students get placements from the college in the range of 2.5 LPA to 5 LPA, as far as I know. I do not have much idea about the companies, as they are not very popular. Around 5 percent of students may get roles such as Junior HR, manager, finance, etc., but I am not completely sure.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work properly. The classroom benches are not good. Fans do not work. There is no AC in the college. Library is not good, as there are not enough books and no proper sitting area for studying. The study room is always occupied by societies.
Faculty: The newly joined teachers are good and helpful. The teaching quality is decent, but not enough if we want practical knowledge. Exams are moderate to difficult. Students need to study seriously. Internal marks are not very good, but the passing rate is good.
Other: I want to pursue an MBA. Better teachers and practical knowledge are needed. Events are decent but not very good, and the crowd is not good, especially the seniors.

I am happy with my college life and the people I have met.
Placements: I have seen packages ranging from 5–6 LPA as the highest. 2–3 LPA is the lowest in my college. Many good and recognized companies have visited our campus, including Stubborn Factory and others. Some roles were offered in departments related to geopolitics and political issues. Around 9–10 students from my course were placed.
Infrastructure: My course and faculty are very good and have good facilities. Although the college does not have a hostel. Overall, it is awesome. The Wi-Fi is strong, and labs are air-conditioned. The campus has two libraries and a separate reading room. There are also facilities for games like football, hockey, etc. The college has a large canteen where students enjoy.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They provide us with good guidance. They are well-qualified, experienced, and very knowledgeable. The faculty in my department teaches in a very good manner. The semester-based exams are neither hard nor easy. The pass percentage is not very high. The average CGPA required to pass is around 4–5.
Other: Shyam Lal College hosts many events and fests. It has many active societies. Such as Enactus, Abhivyakti, NSS, and NCC. The best thing about my course is that, it is both valuable and interesting.

Overall, the college has good infrastructure, and teaching is the best, but it lacks in administrati
Placements: On average, 30-40% students get placed in my course. The highest package was of 7-8 LPA, the lowest package was of 2 LPA, and the average package was of 4 LPA. ICICI Bank and HDB Financial were the top recruiting companies. Over 50 percent of students got internships in my course in companies like Admit and Juspay. Top roles offered were business development associate and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure is good, like Wi-Fi is available at specific locations only, but the speed is good, PC in the lab are all working and in good condition. Classrooms are clean, library has a good amount of books. The food available in the canteen is good and at a reasonable price, a medical facility is also available, and sports is one of the best in the university.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified with a Ph.D. They are very knowledgeable and with good teaching qualities, also they have at least 10 to 15 years of experience. Curriculum is relevant according to Delhi University, but don’t make students industry-ready is the only drawback. Exams are not difficult, but not easy either. A student who studied in good amount can pass the exam easily, with a good CGPA. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I belong to a commerce background, so I chose this course as best suited me. The best things about my courses are that it is easy and get you ready for corporate. There should be more practical parts to it is mostly theory only. Events around the college happen from time to time. They are pretty good. The crowd here is quite nice. Connectivity is also good with other colleges. The campus surroundings are a good society. College is directly connected with with road, and the metro is near. Extra-curricular activities like NCC and NSS are also available.

Amazing faculty, but disappointing placement cell.
Placements: There is no placement cell for the Bachelor of Arts. We were not given any opportunity to get placed. There were only 2-3 placement cell workshops throughout the year, which were organised for other courses. Arts students at my college do not get that opportunity.
Infrastructure: We were only provided with the classrooms, which were not well-maintained as they were always organised in an old building. It did not have a projector to show the video. No Wi-Fi in the classroom. The library was there, but some of the important books were not available, otherwise, there were so many books. Labs were not required for my course. There was no hostel. There was a canteen which had decent food, and the quality and price were fine. We had 2 grounds, but only one of them was open, the other was closed most of the college period. Multiple sports were played.
Faculty: The teachers were absolutely great. Everyone was really helpful and had good knowledge about their subjects. Their teaching techniques were also amazing. It was really easy for us to understand the concepts. The curriculum was not extremely relevant, some of the things looked like they were kept to increase the syllabus, but it does make students industry-ready to some extent. Semester exams were of a mediocre level, so it was not extremely difficult or extremely easy. The pass percentage was around 75-80%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do CDS, and studying history and English helped me a little to prepare for the exam. The best things about my course were the teachers. The things that I wished were better were that the college did not have any study rooms, which lacked for students who wanted to study in their free time and also the library needed to have more because of the need. Events and fests held were fine by the college because throughout my college life, only one fest was where a singer came to perform, otherwise, all the events were mainly done by the students. NCC was only available for boys. Now they have started for girls as well.
